Sinful Katina What would be considered a post's length for training techniques? Also, are individual posts separated or can they jammed into a single one. Say, if technique requires 3 posts to learn: a set of 3 small separate paragraphs consisting of 3 to 5 sentences a pop would suffice. Jamming your training posts into a single post is the way to go! [spoiler] tags may be useful on those long training escapades. (not a mod, but I saw your question and I could answer!) ** sorry for the notification wall, but it would be helpful that as you're training that you take the measure to indicate/separate your techniques as you learn them: Blah bleh bleh - Learned Shadow Clone Jutsu bllleh bleeh bleehhh training another item bleh bleh bleh

Working on my first RPC, and I have a some questions about this discipline from genjutsu;
Inception: With Genjutsu, realism and the sensory ability of the target factor heavily into the ability of the victim to realize they are in a genjutsu. With practice and discipline, the shinobi may select one [1] genjutsu Sense that may be added as a Secondary sense to any technique, as well as increase one Sense of Choice that will forever act one [1] rank higher in strength. Once these two [2] choices are made, they cannot be switched, so choose wisely.
The 'genjutsu sense' it's referring to are the five senses and chakra that act as triggers, correct? Also, once the choices are made for the discipline, where are they listed in the profile, or would the discipline simply be reworded?

I have a question about the Hagane no Shunkan style in Stage Four.
This particular technique's wording has me confused.
Hydra Strike
Rank: B :: Spiritual
Description: An enhancement of Twin Blade. Instead of only one additional strike, the user can now launch several in a row without any loss in speed or strength. B-Rank affords a total of three strikes, with one more afforded if used in conjunction with a Formless technique C-Rank or higher, per rank above D. If used in conjunction with an S-Rank Formless technique, the total number of strikes is seven.
If the B-Rank technique already delivers 3 Strikes, is this adding more based on the formless technique used atop of the 3..?
Not following it honestly.

On the Shunkan question, I believe that if you combine the attack with a formless attack, it increases the number of hits it does. Styles are currently being revised as part of the ongoing overhaul of the guild, I believe they will be worked on after Maruton (which is what is currently being worked) or after the bloodlines. I'm not sure the time table, but I know that they will be getting looked at soon to clear up things such as this one. As for genjutsu, Lan would be the best person to ask since he made the system.

I see, thank you for clearing that one up just a little bit. It's mostly just the wording throwing me for a loop there. I've witnessed the genjutsu overhaul shortly after I joined and as a direct comparison of the old list and new stuff I seen -- I'm looking forward to whatever changes comes to the Maruton and Styles. But again, thanks for the answer -- it does clear it up a tad bit more.

Ro Mayvine Using the currently profile layout found here, there should be a little spot to put the discipline associated with that class underneath the class. And once you choose a discipline, it is permanent. As for your question regarding Inception, yes, it is referring to a shinobi's natural senses of sight, taste, sound, touch, smell, and chakra. With Inception, you can choose an additional sense to affect as a secondary sense outside of the ones listed.
Sinful Katina The description of that technique has changed since last time I saw it... lol Anyway, I believe it's saying essentially that you can hit additional times by paying for a formless attack without using another activation. So by paying for a C-rank formless attack, it's 4 hits, B - 5, A - 6, and S - 7. Bukijutsu is on my long list of things to fix, so you can look forward to various techniques rewritten for clarity's sake in the future. In the meantime, if you have any questions regarding techniques, feel free to ask, as it will help me determine what needs fixed. Genjutsu question: No. The only limit is on Ninjutsu. However, we are working on developing 'style' of genjutsu that Genjutsu and Performer class will be able to choose in the future for bonuses, but as of right now, there are no limits outside of number of slots.

Oh it is more than alright, I am very much aware of how busy this guild's crew has been since I joined shortly before the Genjutsu rework when I peeked at the old lists. Comparing the old stuff with the new that I steadily being exposed to is quite nice just to say as a new member. For the Genjutsu I've thought otherwise with a few techniques noting that such a technique can be learned as an Instance and so on. Which by extension lead to that question and had me confused -- also why I didn't learn all of my Genjutsu in one sitting. But please, no need to apologize for a slow reply. Guild work first, right?

Hey, I'm looking at all of my options and I stumbled across Hien. Now I've been molding my RPC towards Severing Steel Wires ie "near invisible steel string inlaid with diamond dust to easily slice through his opponents"
Now, with Hien, the technique states "Extends the edge of any chakra steel out by up to 50% of the edge's original length. Can be sustained for half-cost and made passive after the first post's usage."
What would constitute the edge? I know the quick answer would be the girth of the string (which frankly makes the combination useless) but since the whole of the string could be considered an edge, there's argument for it being length which would in turn makes this very useful for my purposes.

Ok, I realized I have a second question regarding Formless Styles. It seems that the Locked Formless style covers a type of weapon as opposed to a singular one, is that the case. So, someone with a rank up in Projectile weapons does D with Kunai, Senbon & Shuriken? (plus all the others) or do they pick 1 of the list?
If the former, is it possible to submit a custom list of weapons under a far more restricted amount? Such as say, Ninja Tools: Wires, Kunai, Senbon, Shuriken, Large Shuriken, Bombs?
