'Exceed'

Exceed walked over to his workstation as he sat down, opening his bag wide and spread it wide open. He looked at one of the small pieces of metals and grabbed ahold of it as he closed his eyes and began to enchant his energy into it. Soon, he tossed into the air and watched it go straight to the large sheet of metal, hitting it with a clang, his left index finger pointing to it as he smiled at the result. (Magnetize learned.)
Exceed smiled as he let the bolt fall easily before he closed his eyes, still sitting as he was projecting his energy out. He increased the output to nearly five times the normal projection techniques as he slowly created a skin tight energy field. Soon it slowly pushed itself out as it became a field of energy as it reached out around him as he sensed the energy around him. (Magnetic Field learned.)
He was soon handed a book by the vine about Mechanist items to make as he gave it a quick look through. He continued reading on about the armors of the mechanist as he smiled, learning about the add-ons next. As he continued, he was making an armor plan in his head along with a special activation for the equipment. He closed the book and nodded, soon being handed the tools for the job. "Let's get to work." (Add-on Creation learned.)
He looked over to the Captain before he put his tools down as he called out to her to try and get her to come over. "Do we have a cleric nearby? I need his guidance about the human body... before you ask, I'm not switching a part for another... just his guidance on the muscle work so that way I can make a cover over armor part." He told her, not wanting to replace ANYTHING of his own body with mechanic parts. It would make him less human and lose his humanity because of just replacing some parts.

Doc Wax stood there as Alex briskly walked out. It took him a moment, but he finally came to. Many thoughts rushed through his head before he finally came to several conclusions at once. He shook his head, and he tugged on a lever to exit. He would apologize to Alex in preparation for the worst case. But as he walked out, he heard Exceed ask about the human body. Doc couldn't resist, like a child in a class who knew the answer, he shouted "I know about the human body! I'm a Doctor!"

The papers did not lower as Exceed asked, ivory features blazing with an ethereal glow.
"I ...can-"
Doc was fast, quickly coming out of his office and thin parchment wavered, revealing golden flares.
"Doc can help you."
Setting her self-embarrassment aside, Alex dropped the papers and started to work on some errands for them both. Mostly missions, some investigating on rumored transgressions, the list continues but as she wrote, the nephilim listened to their conversation with only a half interest.

A random rip in the fabric of reality occurs directly in the middle of the room, and an elderly mage clad in flat black robes steps out from it. Dull brown eyes dart around the room for a moment, almost as if he was unsure who he was looking for. Then, the gaze settled upon the nephilim and a light of realization sparked behind those chocolate irises. Quickly striding to where she sat, he pulled out a small red envelope from a large messenger bag and looked at her once more, before looking at the envelope again. Then at her, then to the envelope again. When he spoke, it was in a deep, elderly voice. Kind of like dumbledore from harry potter. "Well... you look like your name is Alexandra. I'm assuming it's safe to say none of these fine gentleman here are named Alexandra correct?" He paused, as if waiting for somebody to object to the statement. After a stretch of silence, the old man laughed at his own lame joke and gave the letter to the angel. He then gave a theatrical bow, causing his back to crack in about thirty different places. Then there was another rip in the fabric of time and space, and he was gone almost as if he was never even there. It was truely a peculiar and confusing ordeal as a whole. Scrawled on the front of the envelope read, To: Alexandra Damon
From: Guess who??

Exceed smiled at the doctor before he clapped his hands twice, "Alright, I'm going to need your help on working the programs then." He had a big grin on his face, waiting for the doctor to take a seat with him.

Wax turned to Alex, and apologized. "I'm sorry for earlier Lady Alex. I realize I might've offended you, and I just wanted to say that." He walked to Exceed, and took a seat. "So what exactly are we working on here?"

This seemed to lighten her mood a bit, and finally she smiled and looked up from the papers with a hint of surprise reflecting in her eyes. Without any hesitation, Alex took the envelope and laughed.
"No, I'm the only one. Thank you."
With a nod, the man disappeared...most likely back into the abyss from which he came. Gently she brushed the ink, grinning sheepishly. Enough that pearly teeth seized a lush, bottom lip, aggravating it in slow strokes before letting it go.
As she contemplated opening it up, Doc spoke. Alex blinked slowly, her expression quiet as she looked back to the man.
"It is quite alright. Do not trouble yourself."
A slight bit familiarity fell from her voice, letting lose another smile that connected rosy cheeks before returning to the matter at had.
In the chair, she swiveled, putting her back to the others as they deliberated and talked of technical matters. She on the other hand, pried open the letters tongue, and produced a letter. The parchment was an off white and tri-folded. Alex was careful with it, not daring to open it up all the way but just enough for her to read the contents. Upon reading such, she inhaled sharply as goosebumps prickled up her spine. Hurriedly she tucked it away, folding it and placing it in a pocket.
... which will be soon. Won't it, Allie?
"Yes," she replied in an inaudible whisper.

Exceed looked to the doctor as he smiled before he held up some modified shock patches. "I need to make sure these can react to the muscle movements of the arm first. If they feel the muscle move, a little sphere of electricity should appear" He told the doctor as he began to work on a small framework for a set of gauntlets. He put in some unfinished programming, ready to finish the programming once the shock patches proved themselves functioning.

Doc nodded; he was following what Exceed said. "So it works like the nervous system. So it's basically an extended nervous system. I see." Doc nodded, it was an easy subject. Machines and the body work in similar ways. "I like your work. Maybe sometime I can ask you to fabricate some equipment for me?"

Exceed nodded as he got the nerves of the set up, putting a test gauntlet on the Doc's arm. Any movement he performed would work perfectly on both the test gauntlet, and moving the actual exo gauntlet Exceed was working on. He was smiling slightly at him, waiting for his testing.

Doc looked at the gauntlet nervously. He lifted his arm up, and it kinda felt heavy, but it kinda felt lighter at the same time. He started to perform various gestures and agility drills with the gauntlet attached. He pulled out a small vial, and played with it in his hand. The touch was soft enough not to break the vial, but strong enough to grasp it. He began running the vial between the fingers, playing. "Seems to run just fine. Though I'm a little surprised. Most mechanists I've met opt for replacement altogether. I'd heard there used to be a mechanist who'd started off just replacing his limbs, and then moved to replacing his whole body. Quite amazing. I'd have loved to gotten to dissect him. Well, his living half. The fleshy one. It'd be interesting to see the effects of the mechanical parts on living tissues, as well as the wiring interacting with the nervous system. I'd also like to know how he put himself into a robot shell...." Wax trailed off. He did this often. He didn't mean to, but most people didn't listen to him where he was from. So any chance to talk was great to him.

Exceed chuckled at the doctor's surprised before he began to make the final programming for his gauntlets after seeing the success of the shock patches. His own gauntlets had inner shock patches that would be attached at the time they were activated. Once he got his arms in, Wax talking about his surprise even more as he activated the gauntlets, watching them tighten down on his arms before he lifted them up and moved them around slightly. They only covered his elbow and forearm down. "You know... it is a mystery how a scientist put his brain inside of a mechanical head." He told with a small laugh before he moved the gauntlets around, the fingers moving quite easily as if they were his own. "Thanks for the arms... up next are the legs." He told the doctor as he got out more shock patches. (Tool Tinkering: Arm Created.)

Wax nodded. Exceed was another one who was driven like himself. "One day, I might ask you to make something like this for me. Or not. We shall see. I have many things in my head, and a short lifespan ahead of me. I have to make it count. Lets get the ball rolling Exceed." At this moment in time, Wax wondered if cheating death was even possible. He had an idea on how to do it, but it was complicated...

Exceed handed him the shock patches that would be placed onto his leg. "Maybe when I get a high enough level, I could find out the mystery about the brain transfer." He told doctor Wax as he began to work on a set of short greaves that would go up to his knees once equipped.

Wax placed the patches on his leg. "You know, if you really wanted. I could perform the surgery to replace your limbs. I'm interested to see how the methods described to me actually work. An odd art fusing ones body with machines. But I don't judge for it. To have your tools in your hands at all times. To have a barrier with you always. I could do quite a bit with a mechanical arm. Plenty of attachments could be put on it..." Wax was doing it again. He was curious about machines. He knew about the biological counterparts, but nothing about metal bodies. It was an intriguing topic for Wax.
