Erik listened to his heart beat. So it beats for someone now, he thought and fell asleep to his heart's lullaby.

Skye walked into the apartments, finding an empty one with a piano. She smiled as the moon came through the window and shined brightly against her as she sat down by the piano. She started playing and the song followed the beat of Erik's heart, though she was unaware of it.

The piano's music carried to where the group was, making GD, Lena, and Roy fall asleep.

Rin smiled as she heard the piano tune, but she couldn't sleep. In fact, ever since she made the deal with the devil, she never really needed to sleep. She looked up at the stars and listened to the lullaby.

Erik turned in his sleep and woke up to the melody. He got up and began to walk out of his room.

Skye continued to play the melody when she heard the sound of his footsteps. She didn't mean to wake up Erik, but it was a little too late to worry about it. She just kept playing and let the music calm her senses.

Skye smiled as she heard him and she chuckled. "Yes, it is me. Again. I didn't mean to wake you, but I couldn't resist this song that popped into my head." she said as she stopped to turn and face him.

He walked up to her and put his hands over her hands. "Try this." he whispered, his face next to her's. He began to play a beautiful lullaby on the piano with her fingers.

Skye smiled as he guided her fingers over each key. "And where did you learn this Armaggedon?" she asked him, her voice just a whisper as well. She like being close to him and she knew this kind of behavior was not normal for him. Which made this moment even more special.

Skye looked at Erik in surprise and she chuckled. "I love the piano, but I tend to play violin more often. In fact, Rin has my one of a kind blue violin." she said as she closed her eyes and listened closely to the song. "So tell me, what made you think of this song? You know, your inspiration?" she asked him.

"Hmm," Erik thought about it as his and Skye's fingers danced on the piano. "It would probably be when I actually got to, umm, see our kids." he said, feeling weird about the fact that he did have kids.

Skye looked at him and giggled. "I know, it's weird knowing we have kids. Though I can't help but love them." she said as she rolled her eyes. Yet it was true. She had a mother like instinct about her at times, well, when she was in this form. "Rin though, she's not like our kids. Probably because she has nothing to do with the apacolypse." she said with a slight chuckle as she focused on the song.
