I don't know how Cheren is, but I am gonna assume he is the grumpy one with the cowboy hat. He is actually the right amount of ugly for a rancher looking guy. It is pretty perfect. XD

Cheren is the boy to the right of the female protagonist.
Atleast I'm certain his name is Cheren.... Cheren and the girl to his left are the rivals. Cheren's starter is strong against yours, Bel(the girls)'s is weak to yours.

You only fight the leader that has a type advantage against your starter.... but some chick gives you the monkey that type advantages them. >>
Also Isshu is based loosely on the New York area.

I actually managed to wait long enough on E4 information until after I beat Pearl/Diamond.
Cynthia being the Champion was a surprise to me. O: I couldn't make the connection of her behavior to Steven in Ruby, or Lance in Gold; where they assist or are in someway involved with the actions of the protagonist.
Mostly because she was a girl and I wasn't expecting a female Champion for Gen IV.

It just seems illogical that a creature that stands on all fours, and looks somewhat like a horse can be fighting.

Also CLOSE COMBAT, ROCK SMASH, LOW KICK! YEAH!
