Zane put a finger to her mouth. "Kana, I understand. But you must remember it's your child too. ...It's our child." He kissed her gently.

Zane sighed. "All this trouble will evade you, once our child is born. Kana, my bride, I was terrified when you jumped out the window. But I've forgiven you. And I hope you can forgive me as well. I should have never doubted this pregnancy."

Kana ran her fingers through Zane's hair. "Its going to be great Zane...as long as I'm with you, I know this is going to be a great life for me and 'our' child..."

Kana patted her stomach and examined its size. "Two or three days at most." She looked up at Zane. "We need a home....and a crib and clothes...." Kana took out a pen and paper making a list.

Zane took his wallet from his back pocket. He checked it and smiled. "I've got enough money for us and the baby. ...For about 3 months. Now we'll also need baby food and diapers." He put his wallet up.
