A sleek figure appeared above the horizon. She walked down the dirt path that is in the Courtyard. Her tail lashing out back and forth gracefully. She flipped her purple bang to the side. Her green eyes glimmered under the sunlight. Her mouth opened slightly as she saw a yellow Pokemon. The Pokemon looked awfully familiar. She quickened her pace. She wasn't running, she's just walking fast. "Era?" She called the Pokemon's name. As she moved closer and closer, it turns out to be the same Pikachu who led the team she was paired with in a dangerous mission. "Era! Do you remember me--" She paused when she stared at the graceful golden wings that grew in the back of the Pikachu, amazed. She blinked a few times before opening her mouth to finally release the words she was looking for. "You have...wings now?" She said dumbfounded. She didn't think a Pikachu could have wings.

She then turned and saw three more Pokemon. "Oh, hello there." She greeted them sheepishly. She let herself sat down on the ground, expecting she was going to be dragged in some sort of conversation.

Singel nodded at Era and back at Fang. "Pleasure to meet you Fang. You as well Era." He said with a stern look. He turned his attention to Era's question and decided to lower his intense nature to be more calm and collected. "Guild life has been good. Better then what I was living with. At least now I have a roof over my head." He said as Uluat took a nose dive and quickly pulled up, scraping Singel's head, making the blue flame on his tail increase in size. "Now if I could just get him to stop goofing off all the time, my time here will be golden." Singel said as he began breathing slowly, trying to have the flame on his tail die down as the Gligar's laugh was being heard from different parts of the sky above.

Fang

Fang's eyes darted back to Singel. "Pleasure to meet you." Her response was dull, almost exhausted as she hopped off the side of the flowerbed. All else was ignored after his approval of the females. She waved to Nadia without bothering to look back or greet her vocally as she began to walk off.
"I'm going to go check up on Tempest." Fang said with a yawn as she began to head back to the door. That was apparently her job, after all. Her arms raised behind her head as she walked off and finally entered the door way.
Quiet.
The Raichu's eyes shut and her ears lowered as silence took over while she wandered down the hall.. It was relaxing.

Era

Era's eyes widened with surprise at a familiar voice and turned to find Nadia heading toward them. While she'd been expecting a Poochyena, instead a colorful Mightyena was headed her way. "Nadia!" she said happily, "It's good to see you! Your evolution suits you well." She smiled as Nadia mentioned her wings, "Yes, they were a prize I won at the carnival for facing fear itself." The Halls of Terror had been no walk in the park, but the result had been entirely worth it.

When Fang announced her departure, Era turned back to the Raichu, ears drooping slightly. "Ah, you're leaving?" she said with disappointment, "Alright, maybe I'll come visit you both later." she said, waving goodbye to her friend as the Raichu headed out. Era turned back to the three with an apologetic smile, "Sorry about that, she's not really a people person." Fang was particular like that, hopefully they wouldn't take offense. She was seriously considering going by to visit Fang and Tempest later though, she hadn't had the chance to chat with them in a while, and it would be good to have a better memory than last time...

At last she turned to the Charmander, "I'm very happy to hear that the Guild's treating you well," she said pleasantly, reminiscing a little back to her own first days at the Guild. She laughed a little at Singel's complaint about his partner. "A little fun is good every once in a while," she said, "No one wants to fight all the time, that's not what we should be doing. It's good to be able to talk and make friends, like this."

"Thanks." The Mightyena said in delight. She was very satisfied with her evolution and that's all that she needs to feel. "I see, well good for you then~" She replied with a flick of her tail She took another glance of the wings. Those wings are quite beautiful. Its lucky for Era to have one with such grace.

Her ears pricked at the sound of the Raichu. She didn't said a word. Her face show no anger or sorrow though. Instead, she tilted her head, a bit confused. Did she do something wrong? Her attention turned to Era quickly. "Oh, well okay then. You don't have to apologize though." A small smile stretched across her face to assure her more. She understands that everyone has a different personality and she's fine with it, kind of.

She took a notice at the icy blue Gligar flying above the group. Flying sounds fun now. But she's already comfortable in the ground. She couldn't ask for more. "I kinda agree. Fun is fun. You've gotta lighten up once a while like that tail of yours." She let out a small giggle.

Singel looked up at Uluat and then chuckled at what Nadia had said to him. "True, but if I lightened up like my tail does, there wouldn't be anything but ash around me. So its best to just lighten up a little bit like my tail, just not the whole way." He joked as he felt wind blow by him again. "See that Singel, if you just laughed and joked around a bit, you could be a much better and tolerable person." The Gligar said as he turned towards the group while flying backwards. "And if you focused on simply looking ahead, you would have less accidents!" Singel yelled with a worried and agitated tone. That moron constantly put himself and others in danger with his flying like a idiot. It was only a matter of time before he crashed into something, and that something might just be the tree about thirty yards ahead of him. Singel smiled a wicked grin at the thought. Maybe this crash would finally teach him.

Ethfael

Ethfael sat patiently in a patch of sunlight that streamed down through the Courtyard's trees. The Dragonair was coiled up and his eyes were closed; for all intents and purposes he could have been asleep, though it wasn't further from the truth. He really wasn't in a very good mood, having been cooped up in the Hospital for several days. They probably wouldn't give him leave for at least a week more, but Ethfael was more than sick of the place. There was only so long he could lay on a bed and keep quiet, listening to the sounds of the Hospital day after day and hearing the nurses bustling around to help other sick or injured patients. It was maddening to not be able to do anything, so he finally was fed up enough to leave, if only for just a little while. Getting outside for any time at all was better than staying where he had been.

There were multiple problems with this venture, the greatest of them being that Ethfael really was suffering a great deal more from overall fatigue than he would perhaps like to admit. Every few yards he would have to stop and wait for the blackness to get out of his eyes, threatening to overwhelm him. Still though, he had pushed on to the Guild and made his way here, just for a moment, to rest. He wouldn't say that he'd regretted what he'd done, although he was now trying to recover more than a little bit as he waited there. Of course, knowing the way things were he could have chosen a better place than the Guild itself to rest perhaps, it was asking for trouble to be sitting here in the heart of the place; sooner or later, someone would notice you.

Alice

"I did it!"

Her voice sounded over her teleport as she dropped from the air and landed on the Dragonair in tears. What could have been taken as an excited 'Look at me' statement was filled with fear and saddness. The Kirlia didn't even explain her comment, she just bawled on Ethfael's back.

"I made him mad-- I didn't mean to, I didn't think he would--" She swiftly lifted her head and took a deep breath. "I-I-I remember- I remember it all I missed up I went too far I shouldn't have said anything-" Alice's words were quick. She didn't pause after that lone breath and her body trembled. She finally rolled off of the Dragonair and crashed onto the ground with no attempt to get back up. She just whined. "-he's mad at me I know he is, what am I supposed to do? I'm scared." Alice brought her hands to her face, covering her eyes.
Nothing exists now.

Ethfael

At the sound of Alice's voice, Ethfael's eyes cracked open slightly, only to widen with a mixture of pain and surprise as she fell on top of him. It wouldn't have bothered him as much if he hadn't been aching as much as he was already, or if he had been expecting it, but in this case neither one applied. Stifling a moan of pain he turned his head to look back at Alice as she continued talking, only slight surprise at her new evolution registering on the Dragonair's face. He couldn't stay mad at Alice though, or indeed even be mad at anyone with such a sad tone of voice. He met her tearful eyes with his own steady ones, listening carefully and trying to make some sense of her jumbled phrases. When she rolled off his back the Dragonair readjusted himself so that he was facing the Kirlia, his gaze sympathetic. He waited politely for a few moments to allow her to cry before stepping in.

The Dragonair gently proferred the tip of his tail to the Kirlia to help her up if she wanted. "Alice..." he said quietly, getting some idea of what she must be talking about, "What happened?" It was an open question, she could say as little or as much as she wanted, but he wanted to help, and right now it seemed like she needed someone to talk to. Silently he watched the crying Kirlia and waited for her reaction. He wasn't the best person at helping with emotional situations, that was normally more Era's thing, but he would try, that was all he could do.

Alice

The Kirlia's open, seemingly endless apology trailed off into a murmur as Ethfael addressed her. Her hands slowly lowered from her eyes to catch view of him, her vision overall clouded with tears that cradled within her eyes. She ignored his gesture to help her in favor of rolling over onto her back and staring at the sky and the tears that slowly built up within her sockets flowed off to the side. She ignored them entirely.
Alice's breath was uneven as her crying evened out into small moans, her mind retracing everything she had missed, trying to give Ethfael the answer she wanted to tell him. It was for some reason hard for her to keep a train of thought.
"I made Anues mad." She stated simply, then paused. "I made him mad and he ruined me for years for it-" Alice paused. It didn't sound right. No, it wasn't right. "He didn't mean to, it wasn't supposed to happen... I lost everything I knew until I evolved." She frowned. Her thoughts were generally scattered without any real explanation to anything, but the siblings were indeed psychics so some missing pieces should click.
"Why now? I don't know." She rested her hands over her face and took a deep, exhausted sigh. They promptly fell to her sides as her eyes quickly adjusted to the Sun upon focusing on it. Then something went black. Alice promptly sat up.
"Ethy, what are we doing out here?" Her tone changed entirely as she looked over at the Dragonair in pure confusion. The stare lasted a moment, then she frowned again.
"... Anues lived with someone else, as I've said before. Well. He met someone, an older lady. He seemed so intent at things she'd tell him as if she knew everything there was to know. I was jealous. She ended up passing on, then we got into a fight one day and... and I insulted her. Anues got mad." Guilt welled up in the Kirlia's chest and she promptly fell back against the ground again. "Then I lost everything I knew from my childhood."

All this time... 18 years of going on about life as if nothing ever happened. As if the siblings were merely separated and went about their own life since. All those holes were filled with both good and bad memories alike. They were far too clear. She had trouble making sense of them.
"I can't see him again."

Ethfael

Ethfael listened silently to everything Alice said, placing his tail back on the ground when she made it evident that she didn't need or want that currently. Her words made several things clear to him, but the foremost issue that struck the Dragonair was that something was wrong with the Kirlia, and more than just the obvious problems. When she questioned why they were here he almost responded, but she then continued the story as if it hadn't been broken. Although he was able to follow Alice's tale it was hard to wrap his head around, even moreso when half his thoughts were on the likely instability of her current mental state. When she finished his immediate response was inevitable, and perhaps a bit too fast. "No." He winced at how unintentionally harsh the word had sounded, and tried again. "What I mean to say is that you shouldn't say you can't see him again."

Realizing that there was no way for him to put it eloquently he just went ahead and put his thoughts out, "I won't pretend that I know how bad his reaction was or how much you regret saying what you did, but I do know that there is something that surpasses that. If Anues truly thinks you dead, then the last thing you should do is stay away from him." He paused a moment, getting his thoughts in line, "I think that one of the worst possible feelings must be to believe a sibling dead by your own hand. Perhaps he doesn't show his emotions much, but I know that if I killed a sibling, or someone very close to me"-his voice broke slightly, thinking about what he'd almost done that hit horribly close to home on that-"It would haunt me for the rest of my life. I wouldn't doubt that the guilt that I would feel is the same that Anues has, which is why you can't avoid him. Maybe he was mad at you then, enough to unintentionally do something catastrophic, but now I have no doubt that your brother would be relieved to know that you were alive." Having someone back from the dead... It was like a story that was too good to be true. Alice couldn't just turn away like that, it wouldn't help at all. One thing was for certain though, the Dragonair carefully brushed the tip of his tail against a small pouch he wore about his neck, feeling the weight of its contents as the thought set in his mind, he would have to see Anues.

Alice

Alice listened in silence as he turned her head away from the Sun with a wince. What Ethfael said was so natural, but was it true? Overall, there was only one way to find out. ... She dreaded the idea, but in the back of her head, she knew she had to see him sooner or later.
Boy, how awkward would that be?
"I know what you're trying to say Ethfael but..." Alice paused to think. "But we saw each other... We made eye contact even." Then again, Alice told Ethfael to find Anues for her partially out of doubt even though the Dragonair cleared that up for her just by explaining their meeting. So... Maybe Anues really did think he was seeing things.
The Kirlia's face distorted into mild annoyance as her thoughts built up, clearly too uneasy to still do the meeting herself. Going with Ethfael sounded like too much even.
Alice wished she viewed such situation now as she did prior to evolution. It was more innocent then. Now she just felt guilty. She rolled over onto her side and dragged herself up off the ground. She looked calm, though rather agitated at the same time. "I'll meet him. Eventually." Time was good like that... most of the time. "I don't know what to even say... 'Hey Anues! Long time no see! It's only been 18 years of you thinking I was dead but that aside, how's life been?!" Her voice was sarcastically joyous and she flailed her arms in the air as she spoke. They promptly fell back at her sides.
It was true though.

Ethfael

Ethfael shook his head at Alice's sarcasm, the Kirlia must have a really pessimistic view of things to be that blatantly mocking of the situation. The Dragonair decided to deal with these things one at a time. "You have to keep in mind the circumstances when you did make eye contact before you pay any mind to that situation," he said, "More than a few people were facing ghostly memories thanks to that Relic. It wouldn't be a stretch of the imagination to say that Anues likely thought you were one of them. You didn't see each other for that long at all, and he was distracted by other things going on nearby. It's not that he would have disregarded you, it's that he wouldn't have thought you were real." Very nice Ethfael, lots of tact, that will make her feel so much better. He sighed, "So I wouldn't use that as the best example here."

That aside, now for the other part. It never really crossed his mind what one would say after such a long time of being apart, but it was a valid concern. What do you say to someone who's thought you dead for 18 years? "I think the best thing to do when you do meet him, would just be to be yourself," he said after a moment, "Eighteen years is a long time, but its just the same as if you were meeting for the first time in a few months I suppose. You've done things that he doesn't know of, he's done things that you don't know of, but it doesn't really matter, it's only meeting an old friend. I'm not saying things will be the same, in fact they're certain to be different, but that doesn't mean you have to act a special way. It's hard to give advice on things like that but mine would be to just be the way you are normally, explain what happened as best you know it, and see what happens from there." He didn't know what else to say, but he felt that it was the right thing to do. Anues and Alice needed to have the chance to see each other again, Ethfael felt that it would be better for both of them if they did; it would be pointless if something like that got in the way.

Anues -- Alice

Alice returned to silence as Ethfael spoke. Her mouth opened every now and then as if to say something likely against him, but she never actually spoke. By the time he finished, the Kirlia just frowned and stood there for a few seconds. “But—“ She paused. Anu was too unpredictable for her to seek out reactions.
What would she say to Zae if he came along? She hadn’t seen him in forever too… But, he also wasn’t half as odd as Anu. Zae was… an idiot. Simplified.
Alice’s expression twisted into annoyance at seemingly nothing. She blinked immediately after and her attention reeled forward. It only took her brother a moment after that to appear sitting on the side of a flowerbed, staring back at her. Expression wise, it was overall expected. Alice wasn’t surprised, she knew he was alive, but the fact that he found her first made her wide eyed with her jaw open as if interrupted from speaking.
Anues just looked flat out bored.
“So you made it after all?” “Y-Yeah.” The Gardevoir shut his eyes for a moment. When they opened again, they were on Ethfael. He said nothing though. “How long have you been here?” Alice blinked. Why such questions? Her expression quickly changed from shock to annoyance. “Long enough to figure out you’re alive.” She pouted. “And you can’t even say hello.” Alice turned, waving a dismissing hand at her sibling who just smiled in response. “My apologies.”

Or, this could happen and naturally, Anues wouldn’t give a s**t. Good job, Alice. You drove yourself and potentially Ethfael into a wall you couldn’t get beyond.

Alice swiftly turned back toward Anues and his expression quickly neutralized as the two stared at one another. Now what? Why was that so easy? Alice babbled slightly, seemingly upset with the male. “18 years, Anues and that’s all you have to say?!” Anues shrugged, his attention drew to Ethfael again and Alice gave an over exaggerated sigh. “Anues!” “How have you been?” Alice was ignored. The Kirlia regardless rebounded and looked over at Ethfael with the posed question.

Ethfael

If there was anything that Ethfael was expecting to happen after his comment, it most certainly wasn't this. When Alice's gaze shifted across to the flowerbed, Ethfael turned to see what she was looking at. At first there was nothing out of the ordinary, but then, as if his mind was filling in an unfinished picture, there Anues appeared as if he'd been there the whole time. Needless to say, the Dragonair was rather taken aback by the Gardevoir's sudden appearance. Anues looked rather the same as he normally did, slightly bored even, and certainly not fazed by the sight of his sister who he had thought dead for eighteen year. Ethfael's mind was on overdrive, trying to maek sense of it, but the only thing he could think of was that it was just the way Anues was. He felt guilty now for all that he had said to Alice, what with the little reaction that she was getting from him, he felt as though he had made her expect too much, or that it was somehow his own fault for being there.

He listened to their exchange, eyes on Anues rather than Alice, trying to figure out what was going on. More than once the Gardevoir met his eyes instead of looking at his sister, and again he felt prickling guilt; he really would have to apologize to the Kirlia later. He almost wanted to try and force there to be some reaction, but he wasn't one to do something like that; if there wasn't a spark there to keep things going then it just hadn't been meant to be. Regardless, he continued to try and convince himself that it wasn't his fault. Ethfael looked over at Alice uncertainly as Anues posed his question, and met the Kirlia's eyes for an instant, his gaze slightly sheepish as if to apologize for him. At least something bad hadn't happened, although he almost wasn't sure if something bad would have been better than this...this sense of nothing that there was in the siblings' conversation

Reverting his eyes to Anues, he nodded, "I've been alright," he said to the Gardevoir, "Though I can't exactly say well." It was more than obvious as to why, the Dragonair still being all bandaged up from the previous Guild missions. Even now he knew that any sudden motion would lead to unpleasant effects. "I owe you a thank you," he continued with a nod to the Gardevoir, "You saved my co-captain, for which you'll always have my gratitude."
