Finally, after getting herself so lost that she couldn't tell right from left anymore. Lily came across a park. The girl sighed as she walked up the steep hill leading up to the rather old play equipment. A small smile creased her face as she saw the familiar toys she played with as a child. A marry-go-round, a metal slide that seemed to be too tall for any child to be climbing on. A rusted swing set, some of the swings even broken from their chains. Then the sand box, in her own description a giant cat box.
She sighed, walking over to the Marry-go-Round. Her fingers idly touching the ancient toy. Small flashes of her childhood flashing behind her eye lids as she closed them. She could hear her mother and fathers laughter as her father spun Lily and a few of her friends she had made on the rather dangerous toy. The wind spinning around her so fast that she felt as if she let go of the bars she would sling off. High pitch screams of other kids that where on the marry-go-round, some for the very fist time. The thrill it sent down her spine as she realized for the first time her love for extreme sports.
"Hehm." she laughed as she sat down on the rusted, paint chipped piece of crap. Shaking her head at the memory. "I've always been a dare devil, even at the age of 5. " she whispered into the crisp night air. A small smile tugging the left side of her lips. It all seemed so long ago, her happy ever after. The days when her father was alive, before he died. When her mother was pleasant to be around and her and Lily actually cared for one another. "Once upon a time." she said with a puff of air. Laying backwards on the marry-go-round, looking up at the nights sky.

A young adult with short brown hair sat with his back against a tree. His hands were fidgeting with a rather odd looking cellular phone. “Damn it... Why can’t they just call?” Standing up he pocketed the cell phone and groaned loudly. A few moments earlier he heard the sound of footsteps in the park. Then, they simply stopped. Sighing ever so slightly he moved away from his tree after doing a quick search of the he noticed a young brown haired woman laying on the merry go round. Well, maybe this wont be too bad after all...
Moving towards the merry-go-round he rested his foot on the edge of it and looked down at the young lady. “Hello ma’am, how are you this fine evening?” His voice was rather sweet and charming as he smiled and touched the left side of his face. “I hope everything is all right. It’s just not wise for a beautiful young woman such as you to be wandering the streets alone.” Shaking his head the young man sighed.
Moving rather gingerly he sat down beside her and yawned. He was tired; he’d just got done assisting some gang members with a few deals of theirs. He however, got a bigger cut than the gangs did. After all, he was the one that set the deals up and did them. If it wasn’t for him they wouldn’t have happened at all. Rolling his eyes he stifled a yawn and closed his eyes. “If you want, I can escort you home. It is after all, the noble thing to do.”

Lily jolted upwards upon hearing a male voice. She rubbed her eyes as she looked at the dark haired man who was speaking. Hello ma'am, how are you this fine evening?' came a all to charming voice, she only looking at the guy like he was nuts. Did he just call me ma'am. Do I look like a friggin ma'am! I'm nineteen years old! she thought to herself as she smiled politely at the man.
'I hope everything is all right. It just not wise for a beautiful young woman such as you to be wandering the streets alone.' Lily shook her head, trying to hide her laughter at the mans statement, beautiful was something she didn't see herself as. If I am so beautiful, how come I am nearly 20 and still single. she thought grimly to herself before replying the the man who was now sitting beside her. "Beautiful or not, I assure you I can take perfect care of myself." she chimed sweetly, trying to make it seem as if she wasn't lost. "And where do you get beautiful, sir. I'm afraid you need your eyes checked. Plus, maybe the streets should beware of me." she teased, while she wasn't anything special, she did know how to put up a good fight, and she did have a weapon hidden on her at all times.
If you want, I can escort you home.. It is after all, the noble thing to do. She smiled again, laying back on the marry-go-round. Home was out of the question, she had no home anymore. Her dorm she couldn't go too because that would mean facing Annie and Shane, and her mothers... Yea right, as if. Plus, if she went back to the dorm, she wouldn't be able to seek out Leviathan without being lectured by people who supposedly wasn't her friend. So she just let out a sight, looking back over to the rather attractive male. "Nobel thing, huh? Well, I'm afraid sir... I just am not ready to go home. Though if you wish, good company will suffice. "

Nodding Annie said, "Thanks. I'll just find some clothes and take a quick shower, if that is okay. Fifteen minutes or less I promise to be done."
Entering the closet she calmly stated her measurements and what she wished to have and within a minute was out of the closet and into the bathroom. In the bathroom, Annie was pleased to find the little bottles of shampoo and conditioner that they have at most hotels. After taking a shower, barely even spending long enough time to enjoy the warm water, she was slipping on the new undergarments and the yellow cotton tank and jeans.
While drying her hair she walked out of the bathroom and flopped down on the bed, "So, Mr. Morris, how long did I take?"

Alias watched the carnage spreading over the small area. He was a shadow creature a dark dweller, a demon... things like this shouldn't affect him. He should want to do them, even. But he was only kidding himself. He watched it with eyes wide as saucers, scared out of his mind. He stepped back, not knowing what to do. Lev had a team. He was nothing compared to these... monsters. But he kept on kidding, Darkness was an eternal substance... these fools would pass on smooth as silk or rough as sandpaper. He would live. Maybe the wretch in him had gotten to him. --- Gray looked a Lilith. "I, uh... I was thinking the same thing." He blushed and lowered his head a little, not really hungry when the waitress came with the food. She left without a word, and Gray looked up. At Lilith. And everything changed.
Maybe it was a dream. Maybe it was a nightmare. Maybe he was just hallucinating. But everything around him went dark as he closed his eyes and fell forward. Into his omelet, naturally.
But the strange part was the dream/nightmare/hallucination.
There was a man there. Blond hair, blue eyes. Didn't give a name. Gray felt like he should know him.
The man said eleven words, total. Then he vanished.
"Gray, tell her. Tell her that her sister is still alive."

Don't try to wake me up even if the sun really does come out tomorrow Don't believe anything I say anymore Lilith's eyes widened as she watched Gray pitch forwards. She jumped up from her chair and began to panic. "Oh Lord." She ran to the other side of the table, and then paused for a second from the sudden movement. She was starting to feel a little light headed herself. She shook it off and she pushed him back up in his chair and wiped the egg off of her face. "Gray.. Gray." She pushed his plate back, as well as his chair somewhat and sat in front of him. "Gray!" She spoke a little louder as she gently slapped his face. "Come on, wake up."

He walks over to the bed and takes a seat next to Annie. He gives her a serious look. With an even tone he asks, "Are you really okay with this? You don't have to work here if you don't want to. I mean, the pay and benefits are great don't get me wrong. It's just that you took to this facility awfully quick after expressing such distrust."

She rolls over on the bed, and looked up at the ceiling kicking her bare feet in the air. Though her body language was casual, her words and tone were serious, "Actually I still don't trust the facility... but I trust you more or less. And if I don't like how things are going I can always walk out."
Siting up she added thoughtfully, "I figure what better way to evaluate the facility than to investigate it by working it. Anyhow, since I probably have already lost my work study at the campus library and will be withdrawing from my classes this semester, I need a way to support myself."

Shane looks at Annie with some confusion. He inquires, "Why are you withdrawing from classes? If you're going to say to stay by me full time I'm going to bop you on the head. I may be department head now, but I still plan on teaching."

"For this semester," Annie replied. "It isn't that I plan to be constantly at your side, quite frankly I have my own ambitions too. I've just missed a lot of classes, already. And trying to make up a figure drawing class is near impossible. Miss one and your screwed. I need to get my ducks in a row before I can properly focus on my studies. I'm taking mostly art classes this quarter and most of my portfolio is back at the penthouse. It really isn't worth the trouble of trying to hunt all that work down and make up the assignments I already have missed."
Pensive she added, "I'm taking a sociology class this quarter, though, I'm sure making up that one won't be hard at the very least... so maybe I'll withdraw from all of my classes but one. Oh and my work for Wire Scupture is still in the studio, so I suppose I could continue that. I don't know how I can do art though with everything going on, right now, though..."

Rikki Tikki Travi Gidget has been waiting for this opportunity. Still, she knows she needs to tread carefully because no one is supposed to be taken to Valhalla unless they want to. "Actually, there is a place that specializes in people like Trinity and I. It's where I...ahem...acquired my special suit. The only thing is that I don't want to take Trinity there if she doesn't want to go, but there is someone there with powers much like hers that would be able to assist her in getting them under control." Mrs. Smith nodded "I'll talk to her about it and hope she will do the right thing. Thank you Gidget. I won't keep you hear any longer." Mrs. Smith escorted her guest to the door. "I hope you come back soon." she said with a smile.

Gray's eyes shot open. "Wha?" He looked around as his breathing quickened. "Ah... ah... oh... phew..." He relaxed. "I thought I was at the Pearly Gates for a second there."
He felt his heart. "Oh... wow. Like a jackhammer."
He scraped a bit of omelet off his face and put it back onto his plate. He licked his fingers. "Well, it's still good."
He picked up his fork and was about to eat when he looked at Lilith. "What happened just then?"

Don't try to wake me up even if the sun really does come out tomorrow Don't believe anything I say anymore "I-I don't know!" Lilith said quickly, her eyes wide as she watched him. "You just.. I don't know, passed out." She sighed softly to see that he was okay and then frowned somewhat. "How do you feel? Are you lightheaded or anything? Or does this sort of thing happen often with you?" She leaned back somewhat, not wanted to invade his space, but she was worried that it might happen again, and she was alarmed. "No... It doesn't happen ever.." He rubbed his head. "I'm a little dizzy if that's what you mean." He looked around. "That's... all I did was pass out? But that man... and that one... and the dark..." He did a double take. "I only passed out?"

You're eyes closed and you feel face first into your plate." She sighed softly as she walked back over to her side of the table and took her seat once more. "You said something about a man..." She paused. "Like, you saw someone when you pasted out?" She frowned again. She wasn't sure what was going on but she didn't like it at all.
