GKen was jolted awake and was put in a chokehold before he could even open his eyes fully. However, Ken was no newbie when it came to fighting, and since this guy was stupid enough to use air so freely against a fire user, a fireball effect would be easy to achieve. And after he mentioned his brother, he was curious on how he knew, and infuriate that he gave his brother such a low rating. "Let's get one thing straight," He scowled, "no one, absolutely no one tells me what to do. I do as I wish." He loosened the grip from the hold just enough so he could get a decent amount of breathing room. "Now, release me and I'll pretend you said nothing about my brother." However, the talk of Trey in the infirmary and in a coma made him worry, she wasn't doing good... and that's when his mind connected Jay to Trey in the ways they went down.
That was about when everyone else showed up, and Ken was tossed off to the side as this b*****d began that looked like verbal attacks, rather than trying for a real fight. So much for being a man. Once Lunaru had finished using Ken as a resting spot, Ken walked out of the room at what started as a walk, but then turned into an all out sprint to the infirmary. Once he arrived, he looked at the nurse, his attaire still the same as when he had entered his dorm, "Is she ok?" He asked, voice on the verge of emotionless and worry.

The nurse watched as Ken broke into the office. She tryed to give him one of her re assuring smile, it was failed when she looked back to the girl who was now breaking a sweat. "I'm afraid it doesn't look good for her, she is running a fever now of 103.4. If it keeps rising at this rate, we won't have her anymore.." she spoke with a grim voice as she allowed her hand to run through the girls hair. She kept her eye on the monitors more closely now, making sure her heart rate didn't suddenly drop. She was worried about the girl, the school couldn't handle another child's death. She finally gave up with trying to find a way out. Sitting down she looked up to what she would assume to be the sky. Tears falling down her tears. She hated this place, it was dark, hot, uncomfortable.
The voices continued, more and more at a time. Before long she heard his voice. She rose to her feet once more, screaming on the tops of her lungs. "KEN!!" her fists clutched as she fought to try and find a way out once more. Knowing that if she could find her way out of this nightmare, she would wake up. Her movements settled down a bit, but after Ken asked if she was okay she stirred a bit. A combination of tears and sweat glistening over her face. A small peep pass her lips as she slept. "Ken" she mummbled before falling deafly silent once again.

Ken looked down at Trey, and saw a scene he was all too familiar with. Trey looked like his brother did... still and unmoving, barely able to do anything at all as he slowly faded away from the world. Ken's eyes widened in horror as what he was seeing started to mix with flashbacks of his brother on a similar bed.
Not even taking a second look at the nurse, he walked over to Trey, and gripped her hand in his. There was no way she was going to leave this world the same way his brother did. While he couldn't sort out his feelings for her, that was one thing he wouldn't allow. Not even on his own life. "Come on Trey," He said, his voice full of emotional worry, added with a somewhat painful feeling. "Don't do this to me, not after what you did at the Ball." He put a shaky hand into his pocket and pulled out his lighter, and began lighting it. "S-see? I brought it with me. It's my favorite one, because you gave it to me." Even with his words and the knowing fact that he was holding Trey's hands, his mind kept flashing him images of his brother. Each flashing scene added a small glint of tears that were hard pressed to keep from falling. "Please... not this way." He muttered.

The nurse stood and watched in silence as Ken talked to Trey. She had never seen the boy having this kind of reaction toward anyone that came in her office, her heart went out to him. She placed her hand on the girls head, quickly her head shot up and she looked at Ken. "Her fever feels like it is breaking!" she spoke with excitement in her voice as she quickly grabbed the thermometer Placing it behind her hair, in her ear, she waited for the beep. Taking the thing out, she spoke with a chirp "99.7" she spoke with a sound of relief, so the school wasn't losing another child today. Trey slightly stirred in her slumber, her sweating had subsided a bit as she heard the voices emitting through her dreams.
The darkness around her started to fade away, she could see light now. It was just ahead of her. If she could get the strength to make it, if only that would happen.
She forced herself off the ground, making her way through the light. Once she was out of the blinding field, she rested in a meadow. This was a place she visited many times when she was a child, many times when she would pass out from exhaustion. Her place of peace.
She smiled as she sat down once more, plucking a flower from it's stem. Closing her eyes she felt the warm winds on her face, then she could hear his voice again. It sounded worried. She didn't want to leave her meadow, but she knew he would need her. She couldn't leave... Not yet..
Trey's eyes began to slowly flutter open as she looked around the room, seeing the worried face of the nurse. And then Ken.. He was here, it wasn't just a figment of her imagination. She felt her heart leap a bit as she rose from her laying down position, quickly being pushed back down by the nurse.
"Hi..." she meeped out weakly as she looked up at him with her tired blue eyes. She still felt fluish, her stomach twisted and turned with nausea. Her body wasn't hot and cold anymore, now she just felt cold. She didn't want to move much, fatigue gotten the better of her.
guess this is what I get for playing in the snow.." joked as she looked at the two worried faces. "Sorry,..."
