Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart "You're welcome," Kairi smiled as she patted her. She then grew serious for a moment when she said, "Sorry we weren't here to help you earlier Lakayna. Next time we'll be there. I'm glad you got the statue half and I agree. It'll be worth it in the end."We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

(i thought you weren't gonna say anything raspberry; unless of course kairi is speaking in a whisper.)
Lakayna shook her head. "Hey, don't worry about it. You and Sora had a different task to attend to. Besides, in a way you did help me out Kairi, since Namine is still a part of you; even though she is her own person," the dragoness replied, speaking this time to only the crimsonette's mind. Lakayna smiled warmly before lifting her gaze to Mushu and Mulan, waiting somewhat expectantly. They both look like they had something they wanted to say, especially Mushu.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart "Thanks Lakayna. Hmm I guess you're right," Kairi replied to the dragoness feeling better. Lakayna smiled warmly at her and the crimsonette beamed back. Her friend then turned her gaze towards Mulan and Mushu. The Princess looked at the two as well, and both looked like they wanted to speak. Kairi left Lakayna's side and went back to stand next to Sora and Naminé. She was interested to hear what the Hero of China and the Guardian Dragon had to say. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

Mulan l l Protector Of China l l l l Protector Of China l l
Kairi answered Mulan's question by smiling at the group and then turning away, stepping into the portal. Soon, the darkness swallowed her whole and the tiny crimsonette was soon gone from sight. Mulan took a deep breath, forcing her body to relax. She automatically tensed after seeing the darkness and the thought of going in there scared her. But she definitely wasn't going to admit that aloud. Instead, she smiled faintly at Sora and stepped towards the poratl. As she passed the blonde girl who looked a lot like Kairi, she cast her a glance. The blonde girl looked back and smiled reassuring and with that Mulan took the first step into the portal.
"Hang on, Mushu," the girl advised her guardian and then she continued on, the cave and mountain soon dissapearing into the swirling darkness behind her. Mulan kept walking quickly and after a few steps traveling through the Darkness, she caught sight of a new scene before her. She stepped through into it and out of the darkness and found herself in a rather large opening inside the heart of the mountain. Mulan was surpised to find that it was pleasantly warm here, instead of freezing as it should be. Her eyes flickered from person to person, face to face before falling on the sight of a magnificent beast.
A dragon lay in the middle of the cave, and the female warrior's dark eyes widened. Compared to that dragon, Mushu looked like a tiny figurine. Though Mulan knew that his heart was much more than his size, as was his courage. Kairi was conversing with the Dragon and Mulan stepped towards it. When the dragon's eyes and her own met, the warrior bowed, lowering her eyes to show whom had the real power here. Straightening up, she gazed on at the being. "It is an honor to meet you," the female warrior stated, still in complete awe of the being before her.

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Naminé turned her eyes to Mulan when the chinese warrior drew her sword in a swift, quick movement. The petite blonde remained calm however, to show that she meant no harm. Once Mulan sensed that, the young woman had sheathed her weapon then asked the group who was to go first. No one answered, except Kairi stepped forward and dissapeared. Naminé could sense when the Princess stepped through safely and the petite blonde watched as Mulan proceeded forwards, pausing as if hesitant. The female warrior looked to the Nobody Witch and Naminé cast her a reassuring smile. Mulan smiled back and then stepped through. Sora was the last to go and when he was through, Naminé followed, closing the portal right behind her to make sure that nothing followed.
The petite blonde appeared after the Keyblade Master inside of the cavern and the portal swirled shut, vanishing. The temperature in the place was warm, probably thanks to Lakayna. The warmth spread throughout the girl's body and though she shivered a few more times, she was soon perfectly fine. Naminé's brilliant blue eyes looked over everyone in the group, resting on Riku a bit longer than the others. However, she looked away and to the silvernette's twin sister who was sitting on the ground, her face hidden from view as she had her forehead resting on her knees. Doubts about Hikari snaked their way into the blonde's thoughts but Naminé pushed them all aside and moved over to the wall, sliding down so she was sitting back against it. The Hi-Potion Hikari had given her had restored her energy though what Naminé really needed was sleep. But now wasn't the time.
The Nobody Witch glanced at the half-statue that rested in the dragoness' claws and her sketchbook appeared in her waiting hand. Shifting to a new page, the girl took up her pencil in hand and began to sketch out China, as she'd seen it through Sora's memories. She was drawing out all the boy's memories from this place, in hopes that through her drawings, she'd be able to catch a glimpse as the other half of the statue in the Imperial City.

Lakayna nodded to Mulan in response. "Likewise, Hero of China," she replied to the woman's mind. Lakayna was still waiting for Mushu to say what he wanted to say.

Mushu looked skeptically in the looming dark portal, unsure if such a thing was a good idea to be in. He had only just met Namine as Mulan did and he wasn't so easy to trust. "Hey I don't like the look of this. Hey hold on now!" he protested but Mulan was already moving through the portal and before he knew it he was in a cave with an assortment of other people: A red head, two people with silver hair, a blonde and a brunette. Mushu then jumped off of Mulan's shoulder, brushing imaginary dust off his arms indignantly. "Hey next time, you ask me before we go. What good am I being a guardian if you're just going to go running into black holes anyway?" he scolded comically, his eyes half closed and looked at the group. New people going into mountain caves and getting lost," he grumbled under his breath, turning around to see Lakayna. Instantly is eyes widened in recognition. "Lahitashi?! When did you get here!" he exclaimed, running up and climbed up her neck and stood on her head, which considering his size, wasn't much weight on her. "Well look at you! I haven't seen you since you left! You're a lot er....'redder' than I remember you. How much sun have you been getting? What have you been up to? Oh man, there's too much to talk about!" he exclaimed excitedly, zipping about her person in expection of her 'old friend'.
Hikari wasn't paying attention. She was facing an internal battle and was too concentrated to notice the commotion just a few feet away. No.....I can't.....I can't do that, please.....tonight. I'll do it tonight.... she told the voice in her head in her thoughts. She didn't want to look up and face the others, afraid that she would be given away somehow of her unconscious alterior motives.
Axel's arms were folded lazily as Namine, Kairi, Sora, Mushu and Mulan finally arrived. He had to admit he was glad that they were back. He was getting tired of waiting. Then the little red dragon started yelling at Lakayna at how long it's been since he's seen her, and calling her a weird name. He raised an eyebrow and dropped his arms. "Hey um, dragon, thing, that's not er..." he trailed off, unsure of how to say that it isn't, whatever name he called. her.
Sora grinned at the group when he exited the portal and waved to the others, noticing Hikari sitting in a corner but figured she was just asleep or something. When Mushu started crawling all over Lakayna and calling her 'Lahitashi', he made a confused look. "Um, Mushu..."
Mushu looked at the protesting males and frowned, folding his arms indignantly. "Hey I know an old friend when I see one. I don't know what bamboo shoots you've been drinking out of, but this is Lahitashi!" he insisted.

Lakayna tried to say something, but Mushu just kept going on. Then Axel and Sora tried to set him straight, but the little red garrdian dragon was insisting she was her mother. This made Lakayna laugh, and eyes looked to Mushu apologetically. "Sorry Mushu, but my name is Lakayna. Lahitashi is, or was, my mother. She, sadly, died when I was a child," she corrected, "but I have heard a lot about you, and I've seen my mother's past while she lived in this world, though I never knew how far back that childhood actually was."

Mulan l l Protector Of China l l l l Protector Of China l l
Mulan was overjoyed when the Dragon replied to her, startled at the voice that sounded in the female warrior's mind. The chinese woman straightened up and not a moment after that, Mushu hopped off her shoulder and began complaining about portals of darkness and of how he was going to be her Guardian when she went running into strange black holes anyway. Mulan simply smiled and rolled her eyes, one word coming out of her mouth in exasperation. "Mushu," she scolded lightly, though her pink lips were pulled up into a smile.
That was when the red dragon caught sight of the Dragon and raced over to her, practically buzzing as he spewed out words quickly. It appeared that he knew her. Lahitashi? Mulan had never heard that name before but Mushu seemed to know her very well, as if they were very good friends. Mulan's dark eyes were wide in surprise and she looked over to the Dragon, who seemed to be amused. Her eyes held amusement but also apology. Her voice suddenly echoed in everyone's head, stating that she wasn't Lahitashi. That had been the name of her mother. Her name was Lakayna...
Mulan turned away from the Dragon and rounded on Sora, her eyes still wide. "Is this the friend you were talking about? The one that needed our help?"

Riku wasn't really listening to anything going on inside the cave. He was starting over at his sister. He was worried about her. The silvernette glanced at Naminé and then sighed before walking over to his sister. Riku knelt down in front of her. She didn't seem to notice him.
"Hikari..." he whispered her name. "Is this too much?" he asked her. If she needed to return home, he'd gladly sneak her away and take her there - no one knew he still could use the darkness.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart The crimsonette watched as Mulan and Lakayna greeted each other. Then the some what silent cave was filled with Mushu's excited talking. When Mushu saw the larger dragon his eyes widened in recognition and he exclaimed "Lahitashi?!" as he ran towards her. Kairi had no idea who that was, but she knew that Mushu was mistaken for that was indeed Lakayna. Axel and Sora tried to correct Mushu, but the little dragon wouldn't hear it, he was sure it was Lahitashi. Lakayna, who seemed amused by the little guardian, corrected him saying that Lahitashi was her mother. The red head now understood how Mushu could have mistaken her. Kairi who had been standing next to Sora heard Mulan ask him if Lakayna had been the friend they were talking about. The Princess turned to the female warrior and answered before the brunette could. "Yes. This is our friend Lakayna. She's part human, part dragon. Some things happened and now she's stuck in her dragon form. We need to find this statue and figure out what to do with it, otherwise she will never be able to regain her human form again. We thought you and Mushu might know something."We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

Mushu looked around when he suddenly heard a voice in his head, then looking down to realize it was the dragon he was standing on that was talking. "Say what?" he said in surprise, jumping off of her and took a closer look, then realizing his mistake. Lahitashi.....was dead? "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on a sec. So you're Lahitashi's daughter, and she's dead," he said in skepticism. "Look, I'm sure you're a nice dragon an' all, but really joking about that sort of thing isn't funny, even for me. Now really, where's Lahitashi then? Dragons like her don't just up and die like that," he said, folding his arms.
Hikari could hear her brother's voice, but she didn't want to answer him. That damned brother of yours....should've done away with him when I had the chance. the voice chided in her head, Hikari tightening her grip on her knees and shot her head up, as if just waking up from a nap. She shook her head at his question. "I'm okay. Just cold, I guess," she said airily, hoping that her answer would be enough to keep him at bay.

Lakayna's eyes lost any amusement they'd been holding after Mushu replied, shaking her head. "It's no joke Mushu. Lahitashi was my mother, and she's no longer in this life," Lakayna said again then added something else, "What Kairi just said to Mulan about my heritage is true, I am half human, because my father is a human." Lakayna closed her eyes, taking in a slow and steady breath to force back the tears she could feel welling in her golden draconic eyes. "She's been dead for over a decade. It was so sudden, I still sometimes can't believe that it happened." Lakayna could bring herself to say anymore about it. She instead looked to the statue half in her hand, then to everyone within the chamber. "Can we just find the other half of this statue?" she asked, desparately wanting to change th subject, "I'm positive it's somewhere in the Imperial City, but exactly where I don't know. And I can't just walk into the city like it's nothing. You all know that."
(the other half of the statue is at the heart of the city, within the royal palace. none of them know that yet [except most likely Mulan and Mushu], btut that's where i'm saying it is.)

Rikuu wan't satisfied in the least. Her crossed his legs and looked at the twin. He didn't believe the cold crap. He was just as cold, if not more, and wasn't complaining or letting it get to him. He ooked his head to one side. "Hikari, what's up? Were those Heartles...." he let the sentence fade off, they both knew what it ended with: Yours?
