Iri quirks a brow. Thinking, she looks away from him and down at her feet. Does that feeling of Nekojiri being in the room sound familiar? Not really. He has people, or things, working for him that spy very easily. Like Syn, for example. But she doesn't feel like Nekojiri. She has her own aura. But if Tutsumi had to block her energy to notice it, then she may have simply not picked it up before. Especially with her lack of a sense for energy signatures. She relies on her spies to pick up disturbances in the caused by energy.

"I dunno about that feeling with Neko. But the communication between Jin and I is a technique I came up with. Air spies. They're handy. I'll even teach you, if you're interested. The both of us can use telepathy just as easily, but I use the spies with Jin to keep him practicing."

Jin doesn't give a real response. Just a feeling of an affirmative. Then he seems to cut the link.

Jin's mental link seems to come online again.

"Alrigh', Mr. Tutsumi. Found mahself a tiny scroll. Any way ya reckon Ah should be makin' it static? Nah sure how ta go 'bout that."

"Ah, ah...no...Tut or Tutsumi is fine. I'm not a Sensei here anymore, so no formalities are needed. Mmm...try enveloping the scroll with your energy, pretty much try to distort any energy coming to or going from it, block it out as much as possible."

Looking at Iri with a slight raised brow, he nodded and tried to remember. It had been a few months ago, after all.

"I assumed it was Neko. He probably used to teach it before you came, but he used to teach Tamashii...I think that's what it's called. Anyway, it's the usage of spirits and your own spirit. There were very few students though, myself being one of them..."

Leaning backwards, he closed his eyes and started to think about narrowing down things to make sure his target really was Neko.

"Were you around the medical dojo after the fight with Ishira or when she came to get herself treated from the poisoned wound? It was something in the room with us is why I ask."

Reeve folds his arms, even more tight-lipped at Tutsumi's arrival. His right hand twitches, wanting the knife sheathed at his back. He tries to keep his expression placid, but his eyes dart all around him. He's trying to keep calm, and it's a wonder he's hanging on, with his son just born away with a slit throat, and his brother back in business. He quiets a growl in his throat.

Nodding to Iri, Tutsumi sighs at his brother's reactions to his arrival.

"If you want to stab me, go right ahead. At the moment not much would happen so you shouldn't have much guilt."

Turning around slowly, arms opened and spread to both sides, he opens his eyes and stares into Reeve's.

"Point is, there's no reason for you to act like this unless you're accusing me of doing something while I was 'hibernating' in the medical dojo."

Taking his sword from his side, his eyes deadening for a moment as he moves without hesitation, and slashing it through the air until it's directly in front of Reeve's neck, giving two inches of space for Reeve to either move away or towards it.

"Now why should I have a reason for that, Reeve?"

Reeve, within an instant, draws his knife and brings it up to parry Tutsumi's blade. "Reasons enough," he replies, with a nod at Iri.
"Not the place, but it happens..."
