Aura remained absolutely silent, staring at Artemis, for about thirty seconds. Then she turned to Alex and asked, very sincerely, "And how long have you been having these bouts of insanity? Don't worry, we can fix it. It's just a loose wire in the head, like some folk have in their bodies." Glancing at Artemis, she added, "No offense or anything, but I don't plan on kissing anyone."

Alexa smiled, mostly to herself. "Lexi works," she said. She didn't mention - indeed, didn't really care - that her nickname had been Lexi since childhood and she'd always hated it. But when Kirra said it, it was different. Better. Even kind of sexy.

Vix touched his hand gently. "I know," she said softly. "I know. But she's still with us - she never left, not really."

"Leeeeexiiii," Kirra said slowly, letting th name roll across her tongue. She grinned and said, "I like it, it doesn't really fit you, but then again, neither does your full name, but Lexi sounds more sinister and alot better than Alexa, hmmmm, what about Lexa, it makes you sound like the empress we soon will be."

Alex smirked and said "you'll come around to it and as for my 'bouts of insanity who said i was ever sane to begin with" he chuckled
Leon wrapped his hand around his wife's and saisd "your right it just seems there's more forces at work this time around"

Hyn waited for a moment, allowing the 2 to talk. He glanced back at Aiashi. She was a constant reminder of Kray. He really didn’t know her too well and didn’t know what she could be thinking. He turned back to the 2. “sorry to cut in but Alexa, what have you heard about this place that you are going to?” he asked keeping his voice calm.

Alexa chuckled. "Whatever you prefer, Kirra," she said. "Just as long as it's recognizable." When Hyn spoke up, her gaze flicked nonchalantly over to him. "Hmm? Oh." She smiled, deliberately being vague as she thought over his question. "Things. From the past."

Aura waved a hand. "Well, your parents seem normal enough so I doubt it's genetic. Maybe one of the soldiers knocked you on the head in the battle. I'll ask Einon if he noticed anything like that," she paused, realizing something, "when...he...gets...back."
Vix leaned back slightly, gazing upwards. "And so there are. We have at least two distinct threats that I can think of, honey, but that doesn't mean we can't stand up to them."

Leon nodded and said "thats true" he smiled at Vix and said "i wonder if Alex and Alexa cross swords... what will happen does Alex have it in him to fight his sister?"
Alex smiled at Aura and said "you obviously don't know who my uncle was...or who my sister is" he chuckled and sighed

Vix closed her eyes. "I don't want to think about it," she said quietly. "I just pray that Lexi will come to her senses soon and come home. If they must be on opposite sides, my only wish is that they never cross paths."
Aura leaned back. "Oh, I know. That's why I didn't mention them," she said calmly. "Although I think inherited evil is far different than inherited insanity."
Alexa's smile grew more pronounced. "That if we find our way to this place and are very, very good, we will be transported to a world of rainbows and unicorns," she replied sardonically. "It was the most terrifying horror story I ever heard."

Both Kirra giggle darkly and Arashi smirked darkly at Alexa's words and then stared at each other cautiously, ready for the other to make a hostile move.

Alex smirked and said "thats a given point but there are always the black sheep right?" he chuckled Aura was fun to talk to

“very funny.” Hyn said with a smile. “come on really what have you heard about the place. I’m not asking you where it is, just what it looks like or if you have ever been there yourself or if you have heard anything interesting about the place besides the fact that you can gain immortality there.” He said.

Artemis just chuckled with what Aura said about Alex. "Yea..no offense. Right." Artemis said dryly. But his heart felt like it just got blown apart. Getting up, he summoned his staff and robe then just stormed out of the room, slammed the door and headed outside. Holding his staff behind him he sent a massive explosion of water, throwing him away from the house as fast as he could.
Einon's head snapped around when he heard an explosion. He saw Artemis leave and shook his head. "Wow..something bad just happened."
Mathias came back into the room after the door slammed, looking around. "What just happened?!" He asked, rather alarmed. After all, he hadn't told Artemis about the rules with powers after what he did to save him. He looked at Alex and Naomi then Aura. "WELL?"
