heya everyone, just joined in
my names tobias, im 15, pan, and genderqueer. more like genderqueen amirite
but actually though, as i do currently identify as male but i find gender to be a very fickle concept. my motto is let everyone do what they want
boys wear skirts, girls wear trousers, visa versa, none, whatever. as long as you find yourself happy. life is too short mdears

- Age: Basically 20 (since I am a month away from turning 20, x.x)
- Gender: Female
- Orientation: Complicated (I am like 70% asexual because sex and whatnot usually doesn't interest me at all, but I am more interested in guys in a romantic way than girls and wish to get married eventually)
I am trans, and I have been taking hormones since October 21st, last year. I came out to my family a little bit more than a month before then, and even though I spent all of my life up until then thinking that they would disown me if they knew (considering how vocally and largely anti-LGBT my dad was), they accepted me. They are actually extremely supportive, and they've been doing all they can to help me get stuff done... They buy my hormones, helped me get my name and legal gender marker changed, are wanting to pay for SRS as soon as I can get something set up, etc. They use the right pronouns, refer to me as their daughter, etc. as well, <3
I am much happier with how I look now over how I used to look on a personal level and don't hate to look at myself anymore, and I am also very happy that the hormones have worked so well for me that I get consistently recognized as a girl even by random people in public now.
On a sadder note, my social anxiety isn't a lot better than it used to be, although it has improved slightly since i've started transitioning. I never really had any friends while I was in school and I still don't have any friends. I feel really lonely a lot of the time and I get depressed a lot over that feeling, too. My anxiety is so bad that I can't really do anything in public without my mom, and I am too afraid of people (due to being bullied for several years during school for a number of reasons (one including that they thought I was gay); being ignored by everyone after the bullying stopped made me stop trying altogether.

As for likes... I like anime, video games, cooking and baking on occasion, clothes, anything with hearts on them, swimming (although, this is something i'm torn on because while I did enjoy it, my body made me a bit less happy with it, and now I can't swim at all until I have the surgery, x.x ), I love having people to talk to, music, I used to enjoy reading quite a bit...

I honestly didn't know that there are LGBT guilds until know, and it actually makes me supper happy and excited, because since I am still just a teenager this kind of stuff can be really confusing and difficult at times. Short little story thing:
One time in Corpus, I got drunk with my friends (one last time before I transferred to UTA) and we ran out into the water so far that our sober friend though we were drowning. We actually found a tiny little barrier island and were just chilling out there. Eventually we made our way back, and she told us that we were out there for 5 minutes and she was super scared (it was super shallow, so idk why she was so scared but ok) so we got out of the water and went back to the apartment. We got back and I realized I lost my keys. s**t. So we stumbled back to the beach, hella faded, and my keys were sitting right there in the sand. Yeah. That night was crazy. As was the hangover that came the next morning.
