Shina's tank rumbled up behind them, her voice filtered through the speaker, "hah! you cheapskate! The hummingbird's got a line of Pre-empire firearms... Though you'll have tyo pay me back if ya lose 'em!" She crowed with mad laughter as her tank rolled into the Midas, the massive gun on top blazing furiously.
(yes, a tank. her job can be very dangerous, and the hummingbird is rather large...)

Blake took the sniper rifle, essentially, with reluctance. It did look valuable, but not much use against hordes of tiny moving monsters. Seeing the tank, lifted the pirate's mood considerably. Handing the sharpshooter back to Steve, Blake said, "Thanks... but I'm not qualified for this weaponry. Give it to Marth, if you see him, if you don't mind."
Blake crawled into Shina's tank, eager to operate a heavy turret of some kind.
Marth fired - are you ready for this? - a massive flare down the hall of the Midas. The ball of flames exploded on contact with the side of the corridor, creating a humongous lighting effect that illuminated every room opening into that corridor, and hopefully some vents as well.
The kick back of the big gun tossed Marth into a pile of scrap metal, missing Ion by inches in the process.
((Will teh flare work? I'm guessing here.))

kryxel cut through some of the dog sized creatures that had circled behind them "dang...how many of these things are there? and where are they coming from?"

(the hummingbird left the Atlantis, and is docked to the Midas...)
The screeching of the creatures as the flare went off showed it definately repelled them, but they only backed away, waiting for the flames to dissipate...
Until Shina's tank, Ion and Blake on board, rolled trough the monsters, pulping them under several tons of steel...
Shina then rolled back, a trail of gore following the treads of her machine and a vox in reply to her action, "too many. any deeper and we would have gotten stuck... hey, Blake! see that comp next to you? Use it to aim that gun on the top. I'm busy driving.

a blue tiger landed on a few of the monsters that had climbed on the tank.
kryxel morphed back and pulled out his sword "you two clear the front and sides...i can handle the back."

"RRAAAAYAAAHHH!!!" Nina ran down collidors and hallways until she was impossibly lost. A group of the aliens was coming towards her from the end of the hallway. She ran past the hord of the creatures, ignoring them completely. They stalled for a minute then changed direction and chased her. At the end of the hall, she was face to face with a beast, slightly taller then a human. Possibly the mother of all these little monsters. It dripped with ooze that disolved the floor like acid.
"Hah! what do we have here?! The missing link? You don't scare me! Take this!" Nina held out the anti-matter sphere. Nothing happened. "Steve... how do I use this?"
'How the hell am I supposed to know how to work everything you manage to make into a weapon?! An anti-matter sphere is used when making anti-matter bombs and cannons... Like a nuclear engine, I guess... It can't be used as is!'
"So this thing is useless to me... Damn it!" She raised her arms in the air.
'FOR GOD'S SAKE! DON'T THROW IT! YOU'LL KILL US ALL!!!'

Blake whipped around and pulled Ion back into the tank. "What the heck do you think you're doing!? If those things get in the tank, we're screwed!" Blake quickly turned and pulled up the turret operating system. With glee, he began firing arrays of bullets into the sea of monsters.

(I now take this moment to advertise my new roleplay! based off a drawing from math class of a horde of zombies and skeletons beating the crap out of each other, this RP is a nod to every old-timey black and white horror movie made about mad scientists, the undead, Pennsylvanian villages, and vampires. also featured are references to Evil Dead and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I call it Valley of Horror, and it can use the RPing expertise of you fine people... And N-kun13... who RP's well, but really needs to post more...) A teardrop of green shot past Nina into the monster, which promptly exploded. "you should stay away from Glect den guards if you're going to fight with a glowing ball..." a voice said behind her, it's tones distorted by static of a speaker. two loud footfalls came behind her as well.
