Nexo ran towards the creature hopefully creating a triple attack combo as he took his blade out and jumped upward at Kasen. Handling the sword with a tight grip, Nexo slashed downward in an arced slash to defeat the strange person or creature that was before them.

Kasen looked around as their attacks were becoming a deadly nuiscance as things were looking grim. His arms were suddenly bound by the Kidō and he could possibly be struck by two people. Squad 4 had no possible way of regenerating limbs, Kasen had to find a way to release himself from his predicament. "I can't lose.... I will not die by the people I swore to protect...." Kasen thought as his reiatsu level suddenly rose as he was still holding onto his zanpakuto. "Sting and Blaze, Kaosu Sasori!" The blade reacted to its master's words and in such a reaction, a large spiral of dual reiatsu surrounded Kasen as he dissipated Nexo's kidō on his hand while the spiral of reiatsu shunpo away from the two strikes.
Kasen roared as his zanpakuto spirits were enraged in their spiritual world as their master was now ready to battle, his calm attitude became a dark, relentless form as Kasen appeared from the twister of flaming and dark energy with the kidō from Reikai weakened around himself. Suddenly the reishi around him began to distort as his zanpakuto was now a dual-sided blade, connected by a single hilt as each blade stuck out, each blade had a single kanji on them; One had the kanji for 'fire', while the other had the kanji for 'darkness. Kasen was holding onto the sword, however he couldn't move with it, but he still had a technique left in him as the distorted reishi around him glowed red and bright, while another section of air was now darkening into a dark faint glow. "Kasen, Kaosuyu!" Kasen growled as four bright red arrows floated around Kasen, while another pair of four dark shadowy arrows were also around Kasen.
Kasen looked at the trio who should have been closer together as Nexo would have moved in for his slash, making him very close to Maikeru who attempted the jab into his back, while Reikai had already attempted her Bakudō. Kasen sent six arrows, two of each for each person as they were now sent outward by Kasen. "My arrows use my reiatsu like a magnetic force, increasing my own reiatsu causes a large burst to fire them as if firing a bullet from a gun..." Kasen muttered as he tried freeing his arms at the moment.

Heh we got him to release his Shikai
"S***!!! MOVE!!!"
Maikeru had figured that the cards were made by Kasen himself, and so, infused with his own reiatsu like these arrows are they likely had the same type of effects just, much much stronger. Sadly he had no idea if his companions had come to the same conclusion, or even if he was correct, either way he knew it would be bad to be around one when it hit something or someone, and he didn't have time to communicate his hypothesis to his teamates.
He did the only thing he could think of. He grabbed the heavy silver knife that was right behind him and whipped it strait at the fire arrow, still about halfway between Kasen and his targets, cutting it right in half.

Reikai believed Kasen's words. And he expected them to dodge bullets. Bullets. This was madness...She stepped out of the way of the first arrow and flipped over the second one neatly, landing on her feet again a little way from Maikeru. "You okay?" She asked him. "Well, we got him to go Shikai form....Now what do we do?" She muttered, half to herself. "No point in using bakudo now..." She unsheathed her zanpakuto and held it with her uninjured arm.

Nexo slashed downward at the red arrow as he felt his blade suddenly get warm while continued his slash to strike the dark arrow as well. "Shikai, can we beat him? None of us have achieved their shikai yet." Nexo asked as the arrow splitted in half each and his blade was brought to his shoulder as he waited for Kasen to strike still.

Kasen smirked as the two had cut up his arrows which meant only one thing, explosions. Kasen's arrows had a thin layer of reishi protecting the elemental reiatsu, which if was disrupted would release the reiatsu in an explosive burst. Nexo and Maikeru would experience as Kasen looked at the explosions of flames and darkness occur as Nexo would have been consumed by the duo attack, while Maikeru had narrowly avoided by attacking it long-ranged. Reikai still would feel his arrow's wrath as they hit the ground, instantly exploding like landmines as Kasen had finally broken free from his restraint as he was now looking at the group.

"Now that was just uncalled for. Explosions?? From arrows?!?!? F***ING REALLY!?!?!?!?!? Come on man, have some class."
S***, Nexo looks like he's half dead having both blow up on him like that, I took an almost direct hit from the darkness one and some of the edge of the fire, and I think Reikai escaped the worst of both, and I'm slightly delirious using bravado at a time like this....S***
Maikeru grimaced as he stood up, gingerly stretching and prodding to check if he had his full range of motion. A little sore but alright. Overall damage is pretty bad but nothing debilitating.
Maikeru stretched his neck left and right, popping it "Alright guys I'm about done here, gotten wacked at, Bit to often, I can still fight but what do ya say we try and finish this?"
Resheathing his Zanpacto Maikeru reached into the folds of his outfit and pulled out six throwing knives and two daggers, with a small smoke bomb secreted in each palm, there is no way Kasen would be able to see the smoke bombs amid all the blades. He was holding the daggers inbetween his thumbs and forefingers, while the knives were clenched between the rest.
He took a low stance, "So, how bout it?"

Reikai flexed her good arm. It wasn't hurt by the explosions, thank goodness. "Darn. I totally forgot about that." She muttered. "I'm ready if you are." She replied to Maikeru rather cheefully, even though her injured arm was bleeding profusely and the explosions knocked the wind out of her. She was still standing, at least. And her weapon arm was still intact. She wasn't sure if the 4th division had something to grow back limbs or not, and she was sure as hell not going to find out.

Nexo slashed the large explosion away slightly as he had lost his entire upper shihakushou which left him with only his hakama and his sandals. However, his body was covered in small burns as he was looking at Kasen. "That hurt, guess we have to finish this up." Nexo said as he raised his blade up once more and trying to figure out how they could beat Kasen with his Shikai released. They were on the verge of making him lose, and now he had unleashed that weird blade with arrows. "We have to at least try..." Nexo said to his teammates.

Kasen took his remaining two arrows and held them in both hands as it glowed grimly. "Kaosuyu, hide me..." Kasen muttered as he threw the arrows to the ground which had become a dark, ominous, menacingly fog that hid Kasen as his body disappeared from sight as the fog was racing towards the trio. Kasen's reiatsu was now warped as his fog was the very essence of Kasen's own reiatsu, which was now hiding its master. Kasen's reiatsu was now missing as his fog was hiding him, while the fog was now surrounding the trio as it had hid their very own senses from them.

"Ahhh Hell."
Maikeru focused trying to sense Kasen's reiatsu...Good good I can still sense Nexo and Reikai, this fog seems to be hiding Kasen though...What to do?? What to d...is it that easy?? might as well try it.
Maikeru bottled up as much of his reiatsu as he could making himself nearly undectable. Then focusing reiatsu in his legs to strengthen them he shot off in a random direction, low to the ground and more silent than owl's flight. I hat fighting when I can't see but at least now I can hear...was that a breath?? It wasn't coming from near either of my ally's reiatsu signature's so I'll take the risk.
(Insert appropriate incantation here) Maikeru recited under his breath, "Hado Number one, Sho" he whispered, then paused as a section of the fog in front of him cleared momentarily before it came flooding back. At least I know it works Maikeru began running silently again when he discovered nothing.

Reikai cursed under her breath as Maikeru disappeared from the already small area that she could sense him. 'Great....Now it's only me an Nexo...If Maikeru's not a goner already.' She couldn't see anything, nor could she hear much. A muttering of a kidou pinpointed Maikeru's fleeting position, but he was already gone. 'I'm guessing it didn't help. Okay, time for plan two.' She raised her hands blindly, hoping she wasn't going to hit her teammates. "Okay, so now what?" She asked Nexo and she held her zanpakuto in front of her defensively. "I'm out of ideas..." She muttered, not trying to sense Kasen's reiatsu again, because that was utterly impossible. She tried to focus on everything else but the fog...What was that sound...? Maikeru? No, that wasn't him, she would've felt him. "(Insert appropriate incantation here) Hadou #1 Sho!" She chanted and the fog moved a little before oozing back to it's original place. "Well, that didn't work."

((I realized I didn't make it very clear and I apologize so i though I would assist by clearing it up, Maikeru is not running away, he is running around aimlessly so that Kasen doesn't know his position, and so that in the case one of his allies needs help he can get to them very quickly to assist))

Nexo couldn't hear Reikai's question as the fog had blocked off any point of hearing each other. Nexo didn't try to push off the kido like the others as he tried to figure out what was their or Kasen's next move. "We can't see, fear, or sense anything...." Nexo thought as he tried to figure out what could they in this dark fog as he raised what seemed to be his blade upward trying to defend himself from anything. "We're in Kasen's zone now..." Nexo said out loud knowing nobody could hear him.

Kasen was waiting in the fog as his sight had returned since his fog lost the ability to blind people, however sound and smell was still disabled as Kasen saw his fog being moved back strangely as it was suppose to roll forward. "Someone's disturbing Kaosu's fog..." Kasen said as he was walking towards where he last saw Nexo, uncaring about the other two as he knew the disturbances were coming from any of the three. Kasen then noticed he wasn't heading towards anywhere specifically as he had no choice but to wait and see how the others would react
