"I still feel a bit groggy but otherwise fine." He looks at the setting sun, "No this can't be right, it was morning when we came in here."

"Yes but you slept through the day. Honestly thats the best that you caould have done for your body right now." Looking back out to the setting sun Marie said in a lower tone and softer voice, "I just hope they don't come back tonight."

"You're probably right, but I have duties. I doubt they'll be back they've suffered repeated defeats one after the other, by now they have to be taking a break to reorganize and replan."

Standing back up Marie said, "You're right but that doesn't mean that they don't have a plan already. Lets just hope." Marie began walking with Vlad.

"Should I come with you?" Marie wondered. "Would the council men not take a likeing to me?" Marie was a bit nervous.

Vlad begins walking, motioning for her to follow, "Sure, you've proven a tremendous help so far. I know they have some concerns you may be influencing me, but they at least recognize your assistance is needed."

Catching up with Vlad Marie sighs in relief. "Good I'm glad that they have accepted me. It's nice to know some people do." Marie smiled and Looked at Vlad.

We walk into the council room with the big map table and figures showing troop positions. A few councilors give Marie less than enthusiastic looks as we enter.

Knowing and feeling the unwanted looks and glares beaming at her, Marie stayed calm and poised as such a lady would. Pointing to the map Marie said, "This is where most of the creatures have been originating from. Now I'm not saying that is where they hide. There obviously is no way for them to hide from the sun anywhere around here. If we can watch or some how see when or how they get there we might be able to defeat them." Marie said with a strong voice and a confident attitude.

Vlad smiles, "That's right where their tracks from all their siege engines and whatnot end. We've sent out scouts to see if we can gather any useful data. If they do anything at night we'll see them."
Someone whispers, "What a suprise, they agree."

With her excilent hearing Marie is happy to hear the whispers of the council men saying,'They agree.' Marie smiled as Vlad continued to talk. Marie wanted to add something once he was done. "Now gentlemen, we know where these creatures seem to favor in engaging in battles and also in retreating them. If and when they attack I suggest that we are around the area where they arrive. This way we will see how they appear and have an advantage on them." Looking around the room Marie asked, "All in favor? All opposed?" Marie asked as she still in a confident attitude and strong voice.

Virtually everyone agrees, Vlad looks around "Well then we all know our assignments, get to it, everyone is dismissed." Everyone begins filing out, Vlad walks over to Marie, "You did well."
