Elekid held his arms over his face and took the Ember attack straight on. Man, did that sting! Luckily he didn't catch a Burn, but he did feel a little tipsy. Kilik better have a good reason for making him fight this late - then again, he was finally having a lot of fun. After this fight, he would love a good night's sleep to heal up to spend loads of time with friends tomorrow!

Kilik bit his lower lip. Things were not looking good for his little plug. He clenched his fists then looked around him. If he couldn't see Daemyn, there was a better chance that Elekid could. Alright, Kilik. You can do this! he closed his eyes and bit his lip. His fists were shaking slightly but he managed to finally break into Elekid's mind and search the area for him. He could always use Shock Wave again, though were was the fun in that? Kilik's eyes shot open when he found his target and knelt down in the sand, panting a bit. A single bead of sweat dripped off the tip of his nose. "Elekid..." he gulped and started to stand back up, "To your left! Brick Break!"

Flareon's head tilted when Kilik fell to the ground, quite unsure of what exactly had happened. All he saw was his master closing his eyes, looking around then bam. He was down. The fox didn't worry though - master was fine. The plug clenched his fists. This was the all or nothing attack. He was tired - not only from battling but the fatigue of the day and sheer fact that it was night time. That meant bed, dang it! He broke into a run and pulled his fist back, once more glowing with that same light.

"Ey, Kilik, you alright?" M.A. called out, concern nearly tangible in her voice. She couldn't see a thing, but she thought she heard something off.

Daemyn's eyes widened when Elekid rushed his direction. How did he pinpoint him so quickly? He recognized that attack! Glowing fist and all. However, unlike Elekid and most other Pokemon who were daytime kiddos, Daemyn's pick was the night, anytime. He could sleep anytime, any length, he wanted, so it didn't really matter to him if he was up during the day or night. His body didn't need that much sleep, really, but it was a good thing to do when one was lazy and didn't have much else to do.

In any case, Daemyn made a dash for it. The plug was fast, but this canine was in his home-court (well, almost, since sand really wasn't his kind of thing, but at least it was soft). He slipped stealthily to the side where Elekid has his fist up while he was running at him and slammed him with his head, hopefully knocking him off balance. Momentum kept the dog going in the direction he had sent his force into until he was in front of M.A. again, a couple yards away.

Beedrill let out a sharp screeching sound as the rocks slammed into it, but it quickly converted the pain to power, feeling itself growing stronger by the second all thanks to its Rage ability. Haruka had closed her eyes and was listening intently, showing no signs of annoyance from the sand that blustered and blasted away at any exposed skin. She could hear her Pokemon and she knew it was getting tired, but she felt that calling it back now would only be a shot to its confidence. "Get in there and use Twineedle!" Haruka shouted, eyes still shut. The giant bee buzzed forward, jabbing fiercely at Adamantine with its deadly stingers. The Larvitar danced backwards, ducking and weaving each strike with what appeared to be more luck than anything else, crying out painfully as finally a painful jab scored a direct hit into her stomach. The blow caused Ada to fall to her knees and she whimpered slightly, peering up at the Beedrill through squinted eyes.

"Ada!" Kasiya cried fearfully. "Hang in there, sweetie!" she shouted, trying to remember if Twineedle could poison its targets or not. While she knew Ada was tough she couldn't help but worry about the Larvitar. Next to Ariel, she was the first baby Pokemon Kasiya had raised, at least from an egg and it hurt her to see the Larvitar suffer. "Fight back Ada! You can do it, baby!" she shouted. Grunting, Adamantine pulled herself back up to her feet and glared up at the Beedrill, feeling reassured by her trainer's voice. If Kasiya said she could do it, then she wouldn't let her trainer down! A deep, rumbling growl emanated from her throat as she jumped at the Beedrill, swinging her fists and gnashing her teeth as she flew into a rage of her own. Kasiya listened carefully for a moment before realizing that Ada had thrown herself into a Thrash attack. She grit her teeth but knew that if Ada connected with her attack, it would be bad for the Beedrill. She peered into the sandy area, trying to catch a glimpse of either Pokemon.

The Beedrill didn't really know what had hit it - one minute it was hovering there and the next it was on the ground, flailing about as the Larvitar's fists made contact with its abdomen and head, and it could barely keep its arms out of the reach of Ada's sharp teeth. However, Beedrill's Rage was still growing and with a burst of strength it pushed the Larvitar off of it - which was no easy task because of Ada's weight. Fury burning in its eyes it flew up, ready to have a little revenge.

He nodded, though he knew she couldn't see him. "Fine," he said, finally gaining back a little more energy. After this, a good night's sleep waited for him. Kilik took out Elekid's Pokeball and held it up. This was one battle he wasn't going to win. Elekid's fist fell to his side and he was knocked straight up into the air. The plug crashed to the ground with an audible thud (though muffled by the sand) and a cloud of dust. "Ele..." he groaned, struggling to get up. He fell back down and was recalled by his trainer. Finally, some sleep.

Kilik walked up to M.A. and extended a hand. "Great battle. Daemyn's definitely going to be one powerful Houndoom." The boy looked down at the canine and smiled though he did fear being ripped in half. He stretched a bit. "I guess we should get to bed. It's getting late," he glanced up at the sky.

Master...lost? He whined a little bit then snuggled against his trainer. He probably went easy on her. Then again, Kilik never really expected a win in the first place. Sure, a victory could've come out of that with a few well placed Brick Breaks, but Daemyn was so many levels ahead of Elekid that it was really just a fading dream. The boy started walking back towards their room, thankful M.A. didn't turn out the light.

M.A. took his hand, shaking it vigorously and staring Kilik right in the eye, just like Sae taught her to. Well, at least where Kilik's eyes ought to be, since even with her 20/20 eyesight she couldn't really make-out any details. "So will Elekid! If that had been more than a one-on-one match, I woulda been blown away," she said, grinning. Next to her, Daemyn snorted, his ego a teensy bit bloated from Kilik's compliment. His sense of pride was a figurative mountain.

Count on Ulani to knock said mountain over by flopping onto his head and blinding him, suffocating him with her stupid white wings. He bucked around like a Tauros, but Ulani wouldn't budge -- instead, she rather liked this thrilling ride through the dark, at least until it came to an abrupt halt when Daemyn crashed into the mural separating beach from cement.

M.A. giggled, jogging a little to catch up to her two and guide the dazed ones to the light of her parents' room. "Yeah," she said in response to Kilik's latter statement, finding herself suddenly very drowsy. She'd forgotten about sleep during the battle. M.A. didn't really care if she won or lost, unlike Daemyn, but it had been fun just battling, hadn't it?

Once back in the room, she plopped on the Kilik's couch thing, stretching a bit with a loud yawn. She wanted to stay up a little longer. . . or at least that's what she thought to herself right before slipping off into dream-world, curled up in a bumpy ball.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 10, 2008 12:52 pm

Kilik smiled at the suddenly sleeping M.A. and looked around. He took note to turn off the television so they could sleep a bit more peacefully. The trainer put the blanket over the girl then ran a hand through his hair. "C'mon, Flareon," he whispered. He took a seat back into the chair he had occupied when he first came into the room. A light grunt escaped him when his Pokemon jumped into his lap. As long as he had Flareon, he really didn't need a blanket; the fox acted somewhat was a heating system.

He stretched his legs out and let out a mighty yawn. Kilik looked around for a lightswitch and reached out behind him (nearly toppling over) to flip the light out. His eyes didn't adjust very quickly, but once they did, he could make out basic shapes - the couch and the mattress, M.A.'s sleeping form, the nightstand. His hand began to pet Flareon and a frowned appeared on his face. Hopefully Maz finally calmed down, he thought.

With that, he found a comfortable position on the chair, Flareon tucked up beside him to keep his trainer nice and warm, and fell asleep.

M.A. might have fallen asleep instantaneously, but Daemyn sure couldn't, not with his prolonged nap earlier and the adrenaline still swimming around in him. Ulani wasn't too sleepy either, since she had spent a good chunk of the day snoozing in her Pokeball. The two sat there, at the foot of their trainer's bed, just blinking and existing for a moment before Ulani decided that they /had/ to do something. "Let's do something!" she said aloud, her voice matching her thoughts, cheeks swelling from her bird-grin.

"What?" was Daemyn's skeptic reply; he wasn't sure if he trusted the Cotton Bird Pokemon's ideas.

"I dunno. . . Maybe Tora would have an idea."

When they released Tora from her Pokeball in M.A.'s bag, however, they discovered that the Phanpy was still in food comatose and would not respond to the outside world. "Oh, well," Ulani sighed. "Might as well have fun with this one too." Daemyn rolled his eyes, knowing she was up to no good, but not particularly feeling like interfering (because it'd be interesting, whatever she was doing, so long as she wasn't bothering him). The bird floating over to Mrs. Rusting's suitcase, fishing around quietly until she found the woman's make-up kit.

Five minutes later, Tora's rump was decorated with a lovely clown face.

Two minutes after that, what Tora was was indistinguishable as anything known to man.

A minute after that, Daemyn and Ulani were already bored of their game (the canine had helped out with Tora's second transformation, and was partially the reason she didn't look like anything). "It's no fun being quiet," the Swablu whined, drifting towards the door and sliding it open silently. "Let's go outside!"

Daemyn shrugged and followed her. What else did they have to do? He gave a reluctant look at the sleeping M.A., unsure if he really wanted to leave her there -- usually, he would be always sleeping somewhere by her. Ah well. She wouldn't miss his company. And if someone happened to sneak in or whatever, first there was that Kilik guy and secondly, Tora would probably scare the kajeebers out of them.

The Typhlosion snarled menacingly as he body checked the Manectric with his speeding tackle. The fact that he was able to use his agility in this match made him happy, it made him feel so versatile. However, he was a bit annoyed to see his opponent recover so quickly, and was completely caught off guard with Themis' instant retaliation. Felsic attempted to stop himself or dodge to the side, but he was just too close. The Electric Pokemon's teeth sunk into Felsic's right arm with a sudden sharp jab of pain. To make things worse, the dog was somehow able to charge his bite with an electrical current. He'd never seen an attack like that before! The shock traveled up his spine with a less than pleasant crackle, causing the Typhlosion to stumble and fall to the ground hard.

"Back on your feet Typhlosion!" Mike shouted. "You going to let him get the best of you like that?" With Felsic you had to use his own ego as means for motivation. Mike knew that a subtle taunting could do wonders when his Typhlosion was in trouble.

No way was he letting that take him down. Weakly, Felsic pressed his hands on the ground to help him back up, but to his annoyance found that his right arm was completely numb. The Fire Pokemon fell to the ground once again, but with a good amount of effort found the strength to stand up. With a pained howl Felsic loosed a Flamethrower towards his opponent, breaking it short a little earlier than usual. His right arm swung uselessly back and forth like a lazy pendulum as the Pokemon faltered, having great difficulty maintaining his current stance.

Mike let out a soft exhale through his nose. He knew the next hit would bring Felsic down, but he also knew that his Typhlosion would want to go down fighting.

The Great Ball shook off of Kilik's belt and slowly rolled out of the room, as if possessed by the Pokemon inside (in a bad way). It kept rolling until it reached the door, unable to pass through the small bump. With a thrash and a few bounces, the ball burst open, Lairon storming out of the room to follow Daemyn and Ulani. Of course, he had no idea who they were, other than that they belonged to the girl in that room.

Could anyone blame him for coming out on his own? After all, it seemed Kilik was sending him out at least three times a day for some stretching, but after being couped up in that ball all day long, it was certainly something he wasn't used to. "Where are YOU two going?" he roared, planting his foot into the sand. He suddenly felt that if he were to battle here at any point, he would definitely have the upper hand, thanks to Kilik teaching him Sandstorm.

"I was getting some fresh air," he growled, walking towards them, "What's your story?" Lairon moved his head, the bones in his neck popping loudly.

Kilik stretched on the couch, then turned a little bit, smacking his lips. As far as he knew, everything was still the same as when he fell asleep.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 10, 2008 8:23 pm

"Shush!" Daemyn growled, glaring. He glanced back at M.A.'s sleeping form, seeing her move but become still again. Good, he wouldn't forgive anyone who disturbed his girl. Then again, honestly, he didn't think he could do much to this tank in front of them.

"We're gonna go find something to do! Wanna come?" Ulani cheerfully said, roosting on his head. Biiiiig, comfy area. A little slippery, though; she had to will herself not to slide down.

Moments later, they found themselves walking down the city streets of Slateport, city lights protruding into the density of the night. It was a lot quieter, now. A street sweeper passed them, once, giving the two Pokemon a curious look, but besides that, practically no human was still out. They occasionally passed a building with lights on and voices inside, but besides the very few, it was quiet. Well, except for Ulani, who was extremely talkative.

"Gee, you're huge! I haven't seen a Pokemon like you... ever. I bet you could break down... say, that building over there, huh?" She almost kind of wanted Lairon to do it. Except that wouldn't be nice to the people coming to work the next day.

"Hey, so... Emmaaay has a brother, right? And they seem really close and all! What do you say to being my brother, huh? I've never had one," Ulani chattered in Daemyn's direction, her voice naturally musical and high-pitched.

To which Daemyn snorted. "God, your talk don't end. And who says we're close, eh?"

"I think so," Ulani pouted, a little put off. She refused to talk to Daemyn further. Instead, she chattered to Lairon, whether he liked it or not.

Something marvelously clean and shiny caught her attention around then, in the alleyway. She drifted off, not answering Daemyn's inquiry as to where she was going; the canine shrugged it off, taking a few steps more before sighing and deciding to wait. This wasn't much better than just forcing himself to sleep, really.

Ulani's conquest was half of a sink. Lovely, alright. Curiousity satiated, she turned to come back out when she saw a few pink Pokemon, Snubbull it appeared, talking to Daemyn. What they were saying, she couldn't hear, but they looked pretty intimidating, what with their grungy bandanas and spiked bracelets and the such. Gang Pokemon! Who would've guessed? Daemyn shrugged and went with them.

Oh no! He'd been abducted! Ulani assumed, freaking out now. She flew around in a circle, trying to figure out what to do that was productive, when she flew into a trashcan. Terrible, trashcans, really. Disgustingly dirty. The Swablu teared at the thought of herself being dirty, but saw that the trashcan she had knocked over had a secret hole hidden behind it. Curiousity killed the Skitty, she knew, but she couldn't help herself as she slipped into the hole. "Be right back~" she said to Lairon, who was still there, apparently.

"Who's there?" A squawk demanded.

"I DON'T KNOW," Ulani wailed. The voice sounded gruff and mean and surprised her so!

"Oh, not a Snubbull. Come on in, ya flight-feathered comrade!" another squawk replied.

Ulani found herself in a dimly lit abandoned warehouse, filled to the brim with Wingull with all sorts of pirate paraphernalia. In the center of the room, a battle-scarred Pelipper sat, a patch over one of his eyes, a bright red bandana with black stipres, and a peg leg. A dim gold medallion decorated his broad chest. "WELCOME, COMRADE!"

"Uh... hello," Ulani greeted back. A few male Wingull in the back looked at her intriguingly. Pretty bird with a pretty voice! Ooh-la-la~

Apparently the captain of the operation was interested in her, too. "Sit by me here, my bonnie lass! What brings you to this neck of the woods?"

"Some Snubbulls took my brother!" she cried, teary again.

The captain wiped her tear away tentatively. My, was she cute when she cried!

"It must be the Snubbull gang, our arch-rivals!" he said loudly. At the name Snubbull, the Wingulls in the room booed. "Those cruel Snubbull wreck our homes, taunt our pirate pride, and take our babies!" The baby part was untrue, but Ulani was swayed nevertheless. "We're scheduled to rumble tonight! Perhaps you'll see your brother?"

Ulani nodded. "I'm so grateful for your help."

Before the Pelipper could ask for a kiss, she continued. "Oh, yeah, my friend's outside on the side. Could he come in somehow?"

"No need!" he said, a bit saddened since he wouldn't get the hoped-for kiss. "The rumble's starting real soon! Everyone out!"

And a stream of Wingulls made for the hole. The Pelipper had a bit more trouble squeezing out, but in the end it was as it was.

"Could," he said gruffly, "Building is child's play compared to MY power." He felt great - he had a small companion to fuel his already engorged ego. First, when she landed, he felt like thrashing her off then devouring her. How dare she touch him! Yet the more she sat there, the more he felt...okay about it. Lairon crashed about as he walked, then went with Ulani when she spotted that sink. Where was the other half?

The tank looked about and found it, scooping it up into his bulldozer-shaped mouth and crushed it as a meal. Bits of porcelain cascaded out of his mouth, along with the opening part of the faucet. He didn't even notice Daemyn being taken away; all he did was follow Ulani. Yet when she disappeared into that hole, he felt like roaring into the night. How dare his new friend disappear! He slammed against some trash cans, crushing the lids beneath his feet. Occasionally, he would eat half the lid before spitting it out. He could hear voices coming out of the hole and as he was about to attempt to squeeze through it, a flock of Wingulls, led by a Pelipper fluttered out.

"Rumble. Does that mean Lairon smash?" the tank thrashed about the alleyway, following the group out with Ulani on his head. He would have to make sure that she wasn't going to get hurt, or dirty, which was odd considering his 'take no prisoners' personality. As long as none of Kilik's other Pokemon found out about his sudden protective service, he figured his masculinity was still in check. If not...he could crush them all later. The Iron Head Pokemon kept his eyes on the skies as he went to wherever it was they were going to rumble.

Kilik sat up, rubbing an eye. A mighty yawn escaped him as he looked around the room. It was pitch black and not a shape to be seen at all. The one thing he could make out was M.A.'s sleeping form. Man, that chair was starting to get pretty uncomfortable, too. An idea formed in his head. He carefully walked to the room M.A. was going to sleep in and flipped the light on, just so he could see into the living room a bit, too. He gathered as many pillows as he could get and went back to the sofa-bed. "Maybe this will work..." he yawned, making a sort of barricade between the two of them using the pillows. With that, he went back and shut off the light. Kilik laid down the side opposite M.A. and closed his eyes, easily falling back to sleep.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 10, 2008 9:19 pm

The Pelipper looked at Lairon, noted Ulani comfortably sitting there, and got so terrifically jealous that he turned a bit purple in the cheeks. But it didn't cloud his judgement -- with this tank on the Wingull side, no way they could lose! "Yes, you can 'smash' all you want," the captain said, nodding affirmative. He was tempted to sit on Lairon's head too to get closer to Ulani, but uh, Lairon didn't look very welcoming. What if... What if they were an item?! Oh dearie, his pretty lassie with a monster like that! Maybe he'd be able to do some heroics in the coming battle and make her fall for him. Naturally, Ulani didn't know -- or at least acted like she didn't know -- what was going through the Pelipper's mind at all.

Meanwhile. . . Daemyn found himself in front a pep rally, with a hard-core-lookin' Granbull on a makeshift stage made of old cardboard boxes in a not too distant alleyway. He was standing beside said Granbull, who was continuing his little speech. "It's time to get those damn birds once and for all!"

"YAH!"

"Chase 'em out! No more stealing, no more crappin' on our heads!"

"YAH!"

Daemyn blinked, shrugging. Well, those Snubbull had asked for some help on behalf of their boss, and promised to cure his boredom. Look what he got himself into. A rumble! Well, he wouldn't mind roastin' some birds.

Oh, Ulani. Where'd she run off to? He hadn't had the chance to tell her where he was going, what with the Snubbulls' rushing and all. Oh well. She was with that iron skillet thing. Probably was fine wherever.

"LET'S GO!" cried the Granbull. A roar from all its fellow Snubbull. Behind it, a Rhyhorn was leashed up with a combination of some trash. The Granbull bit the chain hard, shattering it, and the Rhyhorn charged recklessly ahead. Behind it, a wild cheer as the Snubbull rushed after it, Granbull and a perplexed Daemyn running at the front.

The two gangs came face to face, Snubbulls snarling and Wingulls cawing angrily. Daemyn saw Ulani and Lairon instantly, mostly because of the latter's bulk. Before he could say anything, though, the two sides charged at each other!

xx_______________o

Meanwhile, Mika appeared from the room, hair mussy from sleep and eyes watery. Took one look at the room and shook her head. She'd known about their little excursion, knew that M.A. had fallen asleep on Kilik's bed... Was this really the smartest way, here? He could've just taken her empty bed in the other room. The woman frowned. Fate was fate and all that schnazz, but this did /not/ agree with her immediate agenda. Her pure little baby M.A.!

Had her own Pokemon pick up M.A. and move her to her own room. The daughter never knew any better.

"Off!" he roared, throwing his head back and barely feeling the little Swablu pop off of his head. "Doggy, find him!" Lairon bellowed at Ulani. In his broken speech, he was obviously trying to tell her to find Daemyn. The iron head Pokemon dug his feet into the sand and, if you could imagine a Lairon smirking, smirked. That Rhyhorn looked like a light weight. The opponent smashed into him and he barely moved an inch. Lairon pushed harder, sparks flying off of his metal plate. A low roar echoed in his throat.

"You nothing!" he cried, managing to get up underneath his prey. Lairon tossed Rhyhorn into one of the few palm trees, watching it splinter at the point of contact. He broke into a run, aiming straight for his opponent, with a Take Down. This was what his life was all about, yes sir: being able to fight without anything to hinder him.

"No! I am stronger!" claimed the Rhyhorn, barreling towards Lairon at the same speed. They were both going to crash! Nobody knew the wiser, so to all the humans, it would've sounded exactly like thunder. The horn on the Rock-type's nose ground against the Steel-type's plating. More sparks flew before Lairon pulled something from deep inside: he pushed harder and harder before finally managing to toss Rhyhorn at his Snubbull partners, also managing to hit a few Wingull by accident.

He smashed around the beach, running once more at his foe. Rhyhorn got up with surprising gusto and managed to avoid another Take Down. The two beasts glared each other down from across the beach, completely oblivious to the battles going on around them.

To put it bluntly, Wingulls and Snubbulls were sent flying everywhere. Water gun and Licks galore. Snubbulls holding Wingulls on the ground until they cried uncle.

Ulani found Daemyn relatively quickly by flying over the ruckus and avoided the flying Pokemon. The canine was firing fireballs indiscriminately, whoever came too close for comfort. Pokemon learned to stay away from him.

Ulani perched on his head suddenly, causing Daemyn to buck and nearly send an Ember right at her face. "Oh, it's you," he growled, saving the Ember for a Winggull who happened to pass by. It was good target practice.

"You're safe!" she cried, tearing again. Ulani's tear ducts must have been quite extensive.

"Why the heck wouldn't I be?"

"I thought --"

"I'M COMING TO SAVE YA, BONNIE!" cried the captain Pelipper, diving rather ostentatiously between Ulani and a raging clash of Lairon and Rhyhorn. He was trampled pretty badly. The Swablu didn't seem to care very much, instead perching on Daemyn's head. "Wanna go home now?"

"Sounds good to me... Sis," the canine answered with a smirk. Ulani nearly trilled of joy. "It's gonna be a bit uh' trouble with all these retards in the way, though."

"Oh! No prob. Get me on that mail-box thing there."

With platform ready, the Swablu took a huge puff of air and began... to sing. She sang as sweetly, as loudly as she could. It took quite a bit of effort on Daemyn's part to stay awake, but it helped that she wasn't directing her voice at him.

About two-thirds of the Pokemon were dead asleep, the other third drowsy. They'd have to take care of their buddies and get them out of the way, then get some rest themselves. "Some sleep will do them all good," Ulani giggled, although she seemed a bit tuckered out too. Singing at the top of one's lungs was exhausting!

So with Ulani half-asleep on Daemyn's head, he began to trudge back to the apartment, nudging Lairon awake on the way. No way was he carrying that big hunk of a Pokemon.

At this point the whirling sands died down and visibility returned to the battlefield and Kasiya's eyes widened at the sight of Ada running from the now very angry Beedrill. If confusion-inducing fatigue had settled in on the Larvitar it had worn off pretty quickly. Ada ducked (or tripped over a small rock, actually) and managed to avoid being struck in the back by another angry Twineedle coming from the Beedrill, but that left her prone as the bee turned in midair rather gracefully (Kasiya was respecting Haruka's ability as a trainer more and more) and came at the Larvitar again, raising the stinger on its abdomen before pelting Ada with a barrage of Pin Missile. The Larvitar cried out with each hit, amazed at how much stronger the bee's attacks were getting as the battle wore on. Kasiya was too preoccupied with watching and calling out to Ada to notice that Leviathan had popped out of her Pokeball and was watching the fight intently.

"Come on Ada!" Kasiya cried. "Use Bite attack, go!" Levi hopped up and down next to her trainer, cheering on her teammate. With any luck she'd get to battle again, although the Beedrill looked to be a lot tougher than she was. Both Kasiya and Levi watched intently as Ada jumped back up to her feet, growling slightly. She opened her mouth wide and charged at the Beedrill, her growl growing louder as suddenly a dark aura began to form around her mouth. It was almost liquid-like in appearance and seemingly dripped from her fangs as she jumped up and sank them into the bee's thorax, just below one of its stinger arms. It shrieked in pain and shook itself violently, trying to shake the Larvitar now hanging from its body. Meanwhile, Kasiya was looking rather amazed at what just happened, and after a moment she realized that Ada had learned Crunch. "Wow... that's a pretty high-level attack, isn't it?" she murmured, fingering the PokeDex resting in her pocket. It was then she noticed Levi standing beside her and she smiled down at the Marshtomp, who smiled right back. It made Kasiya happy to know that Levi had opened up to her right away, and she could only hope that she would continue to help the Marshtomp grow even stronger.
