Kain, who had been in the process of flying out of his Jeep when it dematerialised, appeared several feet in the air of the shuttle bay and then crashed rudely into the hard metal floor still clutching his case of files and rifle tightly. He was dimly aware, past the ringing in his head, of several other people materialising in the shuttle bay, and the woman who was there before the rest of them.
"Ugh...what the hell?" he muttered and managed to stagger to his feet, although still dizzy and feeling slightly sick. All he knew was one minute, he was sure of his imminent death by the explosion, and the next he had crashed into the metal floor.

I may be new, but not an idiot. Besides, things are so slow, lieutennat, It will takes months to become a trained member... not to mention my originality has been taken away...

The Major sat stunned in the jeep, somewhat dazed from it all.

*He suddenly realizes he's right under the ceiling. He falls to the ground in comical manner* Ouch! * This teleportation sure does have it's quirks! If the ceiling was any lower, I'd be dead of being in a foot of solid steel, or dead of the shockwave... rolleyes

"Actually..." The Major looked around, and sat back in the Jeep. "The idea of having one's atoms dispersed, then suddenly re-arranged at such a speed that one isn't killed, and with such percision that not a drop of blood is lost, is rather facinating..." He looked down at his boot, which seemed to be melded to the very frame of the jeep. "But, it does seem to have it's bad points occasionaly..." He sighed, and took off his boot, now in a plain wool sock.

He wonders why there is not that crushing weight of his pack on his back after falling. "Excuse me, lieutennant, but you wouldn't happen to know the location of my stuff, would you? (I've got a suspicsion you took it when you teleported me)"

*comes over the intercom* Sorry Major, but we still havne't quite finished refitting the Dunerunner's systems. Including the transporter. It wouldn't do that normally, but I did the best I could do. Atleast you're not a part of the door or the engine.

"Alrighty." He blinked, remembering something. Something that was very important. "Okay, anyone wondering WHY THE HECK R&D just blew up, and most likely the surrounding 20 miles would be contaiminated with whatever the reactor was running on. Plus whatever AA's had--" He stopped short. "Oh no. Sargent, our Kabo's went Kablooey." Quipping, yet with a sad tone with the apparent destruction of his favorite Armour Application, being a demo-nut.

The Major sighed. "It's okay Lieutenant, there's plenty of boots around, but, I'm wondering your motives?"
