Michael RD Nero-K Michael RD 8Bit Jack I don't see how I was being "an obnoxious fanboy". The point of Smash Brothers had been "Nintendo's All Stars", and bringing in such third-party characters is defeating the purpose. Despite his origins being on the NES, I kinda have trouble accepting Snake because he's since migrated to non-Nintendo platforms. Sonic... He kinda deserves a shot. Aside from the fact that he's now got 10+ game across Nintendo platforms, we'll all finally have a chance to see him and Mario face off in a fight. It just chafes me something awful when people suggest Sora, Cloud, Sephiroth, etc. to be in Brawl. It's like complaining that they didn't put Link in a new Final Fantasy game. Mega Man will definately be in Brawl Thats not a true statement. YET. Assuming is'nt good, when you are wrong it'll make you feel stupid, so its just better to wait and find out for certain. Sonic was put in Brawl by popular demand( POPULAR DEMAND people).Who's to say that Mega Man won't be put in by popular demand? Just in case you're gonna say I'm a Mega Man fan boy,I'm not there you go again with the assuming, just calm down. I never was or am going to call you a megaman fanboy. It just really pisses me off when I see the final fantasy , kingdom hearts fans. They are the worst. Its kinda scary. but Sonic was put in because like you said people requested him the most, megaman has'nt been requested alot that I can see. But im still saying that there is a chance he wont get it. You made it sound like it was a fact. try not to do that so much. 3nodding

Can't blame you there most people don't like him. I highly doubt that he is in Brawl either, but it is a nice though. Think about him and Link facing off on Eldin Bridge. That is just plain sweet.
Just about all the characters I want in probably aren't.
@Nero K - Sorry it just annoys me when people say he would be overused. If we are looking at it that way, it is like saying a bunch of people would overuse Sonic. (Yeah I know I guy getting Brawl for the purpose of playing as Sonic)

Seaphron pretty much says what I was saying. Only he was able to articulate it in a more sophisticated manner.
If a character fits into Brawl (gameplay-wise) then it doesn't really matter who they are really.

Alot. But no one can help who people use. there is more than a million gamers who are going to buy brawl. and there is a small limited amount of characters, so if 500,000 people have the same Favorite/best character why am I to complain?

Yeah I know thats a dumb reason for doing something, but no one is perfect. But If you look deep down into the games Nintendo has produced, there is great character potential. And as long as 1 smash games stays out then there is time to develop even better characters. But If i seriously had to have any FF character id ask for Auron, just because hes my fav.
