"Hmmm appearances can be deceiving..." Shinj'ak said, darkly, her whip still in hand. Lucien purred at her, rubbing against her face. She relaxed a little. "But, if Lucien doesn't mind I guess it's safe." She finished, putting the weapon away.

"heh." She said softly as she looked at the ground. She wasn't sure if she was safe near them, so she connected her mind with theirs. She managed to read all of their thoughts, emotions and memories. Once she knew it was safe, she still looked at the ground, but disconnected her mind from theirs.
