merydell Sounds neat, how do allies work btw, can you just take two armies or is there a maximum you're allowed to field for allied forces? Allies are limited to 1 HQ and 1 Troops choice at the very minimum and may be further supplemented by another Troops, one Fast Attack, one Elites and one Heavy Support choice. And as for who can go with who and how well that will go, there's a chart on who can ally with who and the effects such an alliance can have. Some are outright forbidden and reserved only for the realms of either Unbound or Apocalypse. I think that there is also a rule that you may not spend more points on your allies than your primary detachment. Not a 100% sure, but I think it's there somewhere. Asmondai As I recall, Unbound armies don“t use FoC-lists or ally builds, just take anything you want and call it a day. This. Just take anything you want, as long as the squads are legal and within the agreed upon point limit.

While we're at it, some (personal) good news, got another game of 40k in today against the Tau player (I lost, but what else is new?), which despite annoying interruptions from some new players (asking for help writing an army list while we were in the middle of an assault...), was a very relaxed game that I really enjoyed a lot. My Knight got to see the fish again, did some minor damage and was ultimately taken out by Farsight in an assault, we didn't see that coming, but the fish deserved it! Maybe next time, another Knight should be brought along, to help.. prepare the fish for dinner. ninja

't Lab in Utrecht, I'd link to the site, but it's still a mess due to being WIP, so instead: Oudegracht 207, 3511 NH, Utrecht If you're interested in checking it out and meeting some of the 40k playing members sometime I highly recommend coming in on the first Sunday of the month, that's when we're holding special events other than regular games of 40k. The next one will be on the 7th of September from 12:00 to 17:00 and is called Fun in the Skies, which is a flyer-only event. If you don't have a flyer, don't worry, the store has several more models at the ready should people not have one at their disposal. edit. For more info on when people play, get together and whatnot, there's this place, the official store forums: http://utrechtminotaurs.actieforum.com/

For the flyer battle, all you need is a flyer, if you don't have one, just chime in before the event and models will be set aside for those without wings.

Well, other events that are planned / will be run down the line are..
September - Fun in the Skies (flyer battle) October - Zombie survivor workshop (Get two free minis, so long as you join the event next month) November - Night of the Plastic Dead (Survivors versus zombies, best painted mini gets a trick or treat bag)
Other events: Monsters versus Mecha - a monstrous creature scenario, though this will in all likeliness be retooled into a monsters versus Imperial Knights theme 40Kart - bring a vehicle and join the race Kill-team - Bring along 200 pts of models and duke it out with other commando teams
