I got the latest Superman TPB yesterday....the one where all the heroes are kidnapped by the Auctioneer.
I really liked the new Aquaman. Can anyone give a sort of summary of the plot? Is it worth picking up?

OYL, Aquaman/Orin is lost and with Atlantis destroyed, the remaining atlanteans have pretty much lost hope about everything, without their king they returned to a most nomadic "primitive" society, they're still a kingdom but more Conan, many cities splintered too and the sea became a free for all.
The new Aquaman is what would seem an updated version of the Earth-2 one, his nature coming from science and not the heritage of atlantean and man as the original AC. But a storm comes and destroys the place where he lives and kill everyone but him... lost and confused, he is found in the sea by the Dweller of the Depths, some sort of magician.... the Dweller prophetize for AJC greatness and think he is going to be one to save Atlantis, yet all the prophecies are but events already lived by the original Aquaman (he is going to be king, will marry a woman of beyond, will join the 7 gods in heaven, will lose a son, etc.).
Of course, Arthur is not interested in all that, he prett much only wants to find his father and to know what happened with the lab... eventually they find his father is dead and decides to follow the Dweller in his new mission.
As it turns out, the Dweller is Orin who somehow reverted to a more magical being during the missing year... yet it hasn't been established if the Dwellers knows
he is.
