Malik knew now that he had to say it to Kira, or else he would never live it down. But he couldn't, not with Ryou in the room. It wasn't that he didn't like Ryou or anything, it was just... Well, things had changed. Deciding that there was probably no way to get Ryou out of the room, he glanced around, and located a pad of paper with the hospital's name on the top. Fishing in his jeans, he got a pen and began to write on the paper, ignoring the others.

Kai cooed and reached for ryou. Kira giggled.

Kira blinked then kai started to cry. From the smell of it he nedded to be change. looking around she saw nothing to change him with. What the hell did they exsect her to do make a dipar out of thin air? "Ryou can you take kai and fine a place to change him?theres nothing in here."

"Oh, sure." Ryou said, quickly taking Kai gently, holding him a little awkwardly at first but adjusting them both to become more comfortable. He went out into the hallway to find a nurse who might help him. Marik trailed after the two.

Malik head was bowed, and he knew he had to do this now. Taking a breath, he started quickly. "Kira, I really don't want you to be with Ryou anymore. He's my friend and all, and so are you, but you two just don't belong. He's... he's just not right for you, he's too-- I just think you deserve someone better, Kira."

Kira sighed softly "Why do you think he's not right for me? Don't you think I would be able to deside that for myself?" she said calmly.

"I know that it isn't really right for me to be saying anything, but sometimes it's hard to make decisions and see things for yourself when you're... infatuated with someone. Love makes you blind." Malik played with a loose thread on his shirt before looking up at Kira, his lavender eyes blazing slightly. "Ryou isn't really the type of... he's not very stable. Borderline insane. It's like he's about to crumble. You do this thing where you almost need to have someone to protect. Ryou is that somebody, and he has to rely on you. If you got into some kind of accident and died, I'd give a week, at most, before he killed himself or something else like that." Malik blinked a few times, then glanced towards the door. "It just isn't healthy for two people to need each other that much."

Malik looked genuinely disappointed. He stood up, taking both of Kira's hands in his own, looking at her very carefully. "Kira, I'll just say this now... and I promise not to bother you any more about it..." He said, his voice laced with emotion, his eyes tinged with tears. "I love you. I think I always have, since I first met you. When Ryou was... when Marik had... I'm not sure if you know this, but Marik had used the Millennium Rod on you to get you 'out of the way' so he could ******** around with Ryou, he made you believe you..." He trailed off, but then squeezed Kira's hands slightly before focusing again. "He made us have a relationship together. I hadn't exactly known about it at first, but when I found out..." Now the tears spilled down, despite what he was trying not to do. "I know it was wrong, I knew you would have been angry, but... I didn't try to reverse anything. I don't know if I even could have done anything... And frankly, I hadn't wanted to. I was happier than I had been in a long time being with you. And when I see you and Ryou together, I just... It just breaks my heart. I'm sorry."

Kira's eyes widen as she just looked at him.She wasent sure what to say "Malik....im sorry..." she said looking at him.
((i had a dream were malik freaked when sorta nutso and tryed to kidnap kira to forse him to like him..them there was the drugging dreammm))

Malik bowed his head, two silent tears falling. "Kira... I will be willing to do anything to make sure you're happy." He said softly.
