Last man standing

Similar to a holy stance/not backing down-grand stand?

As I've said before, I don't really like the whole 'tenacity' thing. Every single race has emotions, willpower, the desire to live, adrenaline, desperation. It's not something only humans have. So, I'll be stepping off of that territory. Unless that's not what you meant, haha.
No, it would be a sacrifice.

Like facing a hoard in Halo and all you got is a few grenades.
Someone body has to run in to save the rest.
I guess it would be an 'against all odds' kinda thing. Cause it would be suicide.

Maybe they can like, activate all of their augmentations in a way that will definitely kill them but strengthens them for a while? It'll be like a supernova, lol.

Elaboration: An augment skill to boost their machinery up a bit. Basically take things up to the next level with any tech they may have, an overdrive or overclock.

• Vengeance S
A human's final stand. Activating all of their augmentations to their fullest extent, and completely sapping their body of energy, they enter a graceful transformation: like a dying star, they go out with a bang. Your stats are increased by 3/3, your skills are all empowered by one rank. Using this will definitely result in your death, even with a sage-rank cleric healing you. There is simply no getting out of this train once you've boarded. This lasts for ten posts before you die.

Instead of making 'super-humans' as the normal human race, why don't you just make humans what they are in this world. They are weak, ill-tempered, fragile creatures, at least in comparison to everything else. However, they do have their strengths. Give them team-based skills, abilities meant to be used in groups or together with other human characters. Make humans do what they do best, hunt. The stereotypical human survivor in all horror-themed movies is the one who becomes a hunter, someone who learns from their experiences with the monster, identifies the weaknesses of the supernatural, and exploits those weaknesses to level the playing field and turn the tables into their favor. I think if you portrayed human characters as hunters of the supernatural in this way, we would have not only a more believable human character, but a more unique one as well.
Yes, let's take up pitch forks and guns and see who comes out on top when you are fighting not just the supernatural but demi-gods in a sense. rofl

...demi-gods? stare

No, you compare a trainee 'hunting' a sage supernatural. You might as well be a piss ant biting the ankle of god.

Posted up the humans for approval. Now they're a top-tier, probably OP bloodline that makes sense and works with any class. I think I did good enough here.

Might need to minorly nerf them later. Will see depending on the results.

the rendition of humans in the custom bloodlines thread is... OP. For humans anyways. Ok, maybe OP is the wrong word. I mean, most of it isn't too out of line, but the fear no evil skill doesn't really fit well with them. It's like we're trying to overcompensate for how shitty our race actually is.xD

Regardless of what you all think, there is a reason why we need to make humans like this.
Humans are very resilient. They get their power from sheer willpower, blind faith, love, compassion and a variety of other things.

Everyone seems to think that humans are generally the cattle of sheep for the world of supernaturals to hunt down. Why can't there be a few humans out of the several billion that inhabit the world who are regarded as the 'champions' of their race? Champions who are actually on par or even stronger then a lot of other people.

Instead of making 'super-humans' as the normal human race, why don't you just make humans what they are in this world. They are weak, ill-tempered, fragile creatures, at least in comparison to everything else. However, they do have their strengths.
