Lucifer Morningstar I considered that option briefly, but it's horribly expensive and I'd have no way to make the money back. Grant Morrison. Warren Ellis. Mike Carey.

I've been mailing things to Mike for ages. I still might go, but it's a very slim SLIM chance what with being just a scant week before the Chicago con.

Father B.D. Robo Crush An early bought ticket and going in on a rented van with multiple peoples, and a cheap-a** hotel room, financially spaced out across a few months..... Pretty sure I can do this. ninja And hellz yeah, Pietro. Hellz yeah. I sacrificed the best possibilities of the SDCC so I could go to the New York con, which is much more reasonably timed. I'll end up there next year one way or another, as I plan on having a table by then or hyjacking space on my boss', but this year looks not so good.

Sounds good, Luc. This'll be my first big Comic-Con, and the only other con I'll be attending is A-Kon, which is within easy driving distance from my home. So it'll be my one big thing of the summer.

They're that close together this year? I seem to remember there being at least a couple weeks between when I got back and you guys left last year.
But this year, I will not go home until I have met Morrison. I will not give up my place in line for a copy of 52 #1 signed by Morrison, Rucka, Waid, and Johns. I will be strong. crying

I must be thinking of a different con then. For a moment I thought you were in my backyard area.

It you tour cons for money, it's better to cram a lot in at once, one after the other, to try and get the most money out of the smallest ammount of time. But they cut tables. So I'm more inclined to think this is a way to make the fans choose between Chicago and San Diego.

A-Kon, big anime convention in Dallas. Last year there was my first ever convention, and I'm being dragged back again by my partial-interest in anime and my otaku friend.

It's not an easy choice by any stretch of the imagination, but then meeting you guys is 100% of the reason that I'd even consider going to Chicago instead of San Diego, let alone lose sleep about it.
