There are much better cameos out there. For example John Hurt in Spaceballs; Aretha Franklin, James Brown, John Lee Hooker, Carrie Fisher, Steven Spielberg, Frank Oz, and John Candy in The Blues Brothers; Mark Hamill, and Ben Aflack in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Sean King Aretha Franklin, James Brown, John Lee Hooker, Carrie Fisher, Steven Spielberg, Frank Oz, and John Candy in The Blues Brothers Quite a few of those are not cameos though, I wouldn't call Carrie Fisher's part a cameo because she had substantial screen time and she played a large part in the plot. Same with John Candy, he wasn't playing a blink and you'll miss it part in the movie. John Lee Hooker and Steven Spielberg on the other hand tho, those are cameos. Or, any of the others that were in the movie like Twiggy, John Landis, Paul Reubens and Chaka Khan. I agree with Spaceballs tho, that's a proper cameo. blaugh

The term cameo is a bit stretchy these days. It used to be "blink and you'll miss it" appearances of actors or famous people in the frame or the background for a few moments, but nowadays you can apply it to quick scenes or post credit scenes.
Tom Cruise's part in Tropic Thunder is seen by some as a cameo..

Stuff that makes a monster like me smile: Yesterday I got my two Only War books, an order I had long since given up on ever receiving because nobody could tell me where it was or where it fell through the cracks.
Now to wait for Dark Heresy 2.0 to arrive.

Which isn't out yet I think. That or get the Champions of Fenris codex, which seems to be more geared towards fielding an army made up of Wolf veterans.
