'Kira, you know I still like you, right? I'm sorry about before, when Marik had brainwashed you and all, but that was truly the happiest times I had had in a long while. Please, Ryou isn't worth your time. He doesn't deserve someone like you. Choose me.' Malik was silent as he continued to sit in Kira's room, shredding a tissue out of boredom, knowing he would never be able to say something like that to Kira. He wanted her to be angry at Ryou, though, so they would break up. He wanted that more than anything.

Soon a nurse came in carring a whimpering kai. Kira smiled and took her son from the nurse. Once he was in his mothers arms he stoped whimpering.

Kira was quietly playing with kai who had ahold of her finger and was playing with it.

Malik closed his eyes, deciding on what to do. "Kira, I... I really--" Whatever Malik was going to say was left to trail off, because the door opened and Ryou came in with two cups, a somewhat annoyed look on his face, with Marik following him closely. "Here, Kira, I got you some tea."

"No problem." Ryou said with a nod, ducking away as Marik toyed with his hair. He didn't feel comfortable around Marik, not at all, and him hovering didn't help. He didn't notice that Malik had turned a deep shade of scarlet.
