Gwyllion nodded. "Magick and something else... but you ARE connected... and I DO understand you.... does that happen often, Little Boline? If you've been around as long as Kit, I imagine you would be most wise."


Garren ruffled the top of a dog's head, scratching behind his ears. "Well.... guess we're ready to go then, eh? Lead the way Hunter."

"Well I doubt you have been ever kissed properly," Fir said sweelty, "So I thought to amment it. I take it you liked it?"

The little creature nodded and began playign with Gwyllion's hair, muttering "Boline" and "Athame" over and over again.

Herne smirked and lead the way out from the complex, back to Earth and very soon the hounds and the two men were appraoching Kitaria's cottage.

Gwyllion glowed at the little kid, giving her another hug. "Adorable." he chuckled softly, before freezing.
He knew that sound....
"Hounds." he rose to his feet immediately, wide-eyed. "Trouble.... Boline, you need to hide somewhere in the house, somewhere no one is going to find you----not the basement." he added quickly, eyes focused on her mask. "Hurry, ok??? I don't want you getting hurt."
He hugged her and kissed her forehead, dropping to the ground and diving into the cottage. "Quick. Where are some weapons, little one?! We can't let them get too close..."

Kaguyo blinked. "Are you kidding me??" she shook her head. "You'd be asking me to give up my dreams if you asked me to do anything else. I've been Queen. It's terrible! Stressful. I've been an actress, however.... and for the first time I felt like I was being listened to." she smiled sadly. "I was reaching the people in a way I never have before, because of you... your play.... Oh Su-kun, it was beautiful.... If... if I would have died, for that play, because of Aled..." she shook her head. "I'm glad I didn't, but it would have been a poetic death."

Kazuhiko snuggled Aled, looking at the still-broken, doorless refrigerator. "Ummm....." he murmured, "I'm not sure.... I....haven't tried too many things, yet, Ojiisan. I've had apples, and ginger and honey and milk.... aaannnd......that's about it, because we always had trouble, and I always had to eat at Mum's tribe."

"Obviously..." the assassin whispered.
A part of her feared that her edge would be dulled by this strange feeling.
Another part...
Well, she wanted to dwell on her thoughts and feelings, but certainly not with Fir right there.

Ainsu smiled slightly, looking away for a moment, "Perhaps... one day... I will remember it. I feel as if... as if a part of me were missing, Kaguyo-chan. I don't know how to explain it... but it's been this way since Aled took you with him the last time. I... I fear I gave up..."

"Hmmm..." Aled looked in the fridge, talking out some cheese and grabbing bread from the counter.
There were some meats in the fridge as well.
"How about a sandwich?"

Herne, still hidden in the trees, lined up his shot, using Garren's distraction to his best advantage. He aimed and pulled the trigger.

Kitaria's body spasmed and blood blossomed on her shoulder. Another shot and more blood formed at her side. The woman staggered and the little creature embraced the Fianna, slamming her dagger into the ground.

"Enjoy yourself?" Fir asked sweetly.

Gwyllion's eyes widened, but the man was absolutely sanguine now, dripping blood everywhere. "Bastards..." he whispered, before screaming angrily.
Garren found himself shooting again, but it didn't matter. Gwyllion's energy flung the fae like a bullet himself off into the air along with the rushing woman----did he know her?, staggering over to Kitaria and Boline grimly.
He turned towards where the shots were fired from, and caused another more violent earthquake to pulse out from the center. It would easily shake the b*****d from the treetops, giving him nowhere stable to land and making shooting difficult; he had to get this ******** away.
He was starting to notice colors getting more vibrant, and light more bright; he had to focus.
Focus.
Fight.
Nothing could get in the way of that willpower. He had to protect her.
"EARA!!!" he shouted, "KAZUHIKO...!! VINCENT....!?"
He couldn't always protect her, but someone could. Kazuhiko could heal her.
But no one answered.

Mid-air, Garren opened his arms, catching Arashi as the back of her head smashed into his.
Gods, that f@#king hurt...!
But he wrapped his arms around her, quickly teleporting back to the Otherworld before they hit a tree.
It was a moot point, however. Instead of the tree he hit the hill above their current fort, and he didn't move for a while, trying to breathe.
"God....damn...." he winced in disbelief. "Figures that b*****d was hiding something..."

Kazuhiko smiled. "Deeeelishush." he answered. "I hope. Hmn. Hey. Ojiisan? What if someone's in trouble? Do you think you could help me? But Da doesn't like Kit-Kat anymore I don't think... but... I do... a lot... he doesn't want me to be a hunter." he sighed, opening a portal and starting to crawl in. "I'll be right back, come after if you want, I'll leave the door open." he promised.

He came in right after Gwyllion scooped the ghost into his arms, protecting her from the enslaught; likewise, he was now covering Kitaria with himself, a living shield.
Kazuhiko frowned. "Who... ---YOU!!!" his eyes flared, and suddenly he was brilliant gold.
He hovered over the nearly shredded group, tears in his eyes. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM?!!!" he shrieked, for Gwyllion was nearly dead, and Kitaria wasn't looking much better. "b*****d!!!!!"
He began to control the winds themselves, eyes glowing brilliantly as his arms lifted. Between his ki and his magick, he was packing his own sort of heat.
He began lifting the hounds and Herne into the air, whipping them as far away as he could manage. "SHINE!!!" he screamed, "SHI-NE!!!"
He didn't care if he got shot or poisoned, he could be brought back. He had faced death once already. "LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!!"

Kaguyo beamed. "I was more worried about whether or not you'd have me, given everything..." she admitted quietly, but never had she looked so sweet and innocent..... she looked like she was 17 again instead of ten years older. She looked gentle, fragile even... so little, compared to him, all of her stress and worry lines eased away. "Aled said I can get the divorce, but it would have exiled us from this place. We technically exiled him. So... you and I, we could be married." she smiled sweetly. "I would follow you anywhere Su-kun."

Kazuhiko breathed quietly, he and Gwyllion absorbing most of the damage this time. For the bullets to have hit Kitaria and the ghost, they would have went straight through Gwyllion again.
Kazuhiko opened a portal beneath the group, allowing them to escape. He picked a shard of metal out from his head---it hadn't penetrated too deeply, luckily--and looked at it for a while blankly.
He allowed everyone to land in the med unit of Capsule Corps, but he had somewhere else to go.

He teleported to Fir's, to the infirmary in fact, wobbling a bit. It didn't take him long to find Julius.
"Give me all the iron antidotes you have." he ordered him, calm but quick. There were still other shards sticking out from the boy, and he looked absolutely incensed but too serene for it to be anything but creepy.
"Now, please." he added. "Hayaku. I don't have much time. Hand them over, needles and all."
