Quote: It goes without saying that the whole thing blew chunks and the Sisters are now arguably the worst Warhammer 40,000 army aside from the Tau. What? *checks article date* 10th of August, 2011.

Sisters do pretty well in low-point games. My wife and I did a doubles tournament last summer, her SoB and my IG, 600pts per person (two people per side), and we took 2nd place. The #1 was Orks and SoB.

Sean King Does Ward even work at GW anymore? Depends on the question: Who is "Design Studio"?

Asmondai Sean King Does Ward even work at GW anymore? Depends on the question: Who is "Design Studio"?They stopped using individual names after codex: Space Marines, as some names have become too "tainted" by a rather toxic on-line community. Plus, despite a codex carrying the name of one developer, it is always a product of the team as a whole, not a solo product as many think it to be. The big name on the frontis page is the guy in charge and more or less shapes the overall product, while the others help out with the balance and background. I would also like to point out, while Ward is bad at writing fluff, the actual army lists, especially when 6th edition hit, were good. Necrons and Grey Knights were particularly OP for a while in the 5th because they were really written with the 6th edition in mind, handily avoiding the same trap codex: Witch Hunters fell into back in the day.

The Internet: The more wretched hive of scum and villany. 3nodding BrookM I would also like to point out, while Ward is bad at writing fluff, the actual army lists, especially when 6th edition hit, were good. I agree, even the more pointed out problems with the codexes (GK all have power-weapons and anti-plasma-gears), are not that big of an issue when you see the bigger picture. Sure it´s kinda bad to have an entire army with power-weapons, but I would rather have them on tactical-squad-ish statline models rather then Demonhunter-codex GK stats. <.<" With wrist-mounted-stombolter giving +1 A in melee no less. Well, finally managed to find a retailer selling this set at a cheap price that didn't involve bloodletting or extortion:
