Then the tree eats the bunny doesn't it?! TREE IS HAPPY with BUNNY JUICES! O_O

Does it make it? gonk

He leaps, and barely manages to reach the branch. Scrabbling with his furry paws, he manages to climb up onto the branch, and looks around. Everything is below him. He had never been so high. He can see the pond, and he can look out over the prairie, and he can even see the forest beyond that. he feels so empowered. he is amazed at what he can see, but soon grows curious again. The trees are still taller than him, and there has to be something above him.
He looks up, and sees another branch. This one is much closer, and he easily hope up to it. Looking up again, he sees a maze of branches above him, and makes it a game to hop from one to another. Not thinking of the danger that might befall him if he misses a branch, he care-freely hops until he hears someone singing. His bunny ears p***k up, and he crawls along his branch until he can see a nest. There is a mother bird, singing a lullaby to her chicks. The bunny stops to listen, and his ears start to droop from exhaustion. He didn't realize how tired he was, until he heard the song. He starts to fall asleep, and as he does, he starts to lose his balance.

The mother bird looks up, and suddenly stops her song. Puzzled at the sight of a bunny in her tree, she is speechless. Without the aid of her motherly magic, her chicks wake up, and start crying out again. The noise from the baby birds wakens up the bunny, who quickly realizes he is gonna fall. He scrambles on to his branch, panting for air.
Looking down, he realizes that he is higher than any bunny has ever been in the existence of bunnies. With this realization, he sets himself a goal: he must reach the top of the tree. Forgetting the moment of fear and danger that just passed, he continues to play his game, continuing to go higher and higher.
With one more hop, his head suddenly breaks through the leaves around him, and he sits there, stunned. He has reached the top. Looking out, he realized that he can see the whole land stretching out beneath him. He can see the tops of the trees around him, and he realizes that his tree is the tallest of them all. He can see eagles flying far above him, and he can see the clouds pressed against the bright blue sky. He has made it. he is king of the mountain.

Sitting at the top of the tree, the bunny starts to grow curious again. he has made it to the top of the tree. To the top of his world. Now what could he do. He starts to look around, but there is nothing he can reach that would interest him. He looks down, and realizes that the branch below him is waaay below him, and is also very thin. he stares at it, and suddenly realizes that he probably won't be able to hop onto it without falling. Looking farther down, past the branch, he realizes just how high he is. And he is afraid.

The sun slowly sinks below the horizon, and the bunny sits still at the top of his tree. The fear to attempt anything lease he will plummet to his death has completely immobilized him. He sits there, shivering, and is afraid.
Suddenly, he spots a light drifting up through the trees. He watches it, afraid of this new creature that appeared with the night. The light floats and bobs its way along the leaves, and starts to float up to the bunnies height. Stopping in front of his face, the bunny sees that it is actually a firefly, and really is nothing to be afraid of. He calls out to it, wondering what it is doing.
The firefly responds that it is trying to reach the moon. It knows it can go higher and higher, and it has made it its goal to touch the moon. The bunny instantly cries out, telling the firefly that it is not worth it. He explains that he wanted to reach the top of the tree, and now that he is here, he is afraid to go back down.
The firefly looks at him and laughs. He says that he knows he cannot actually reach the moon, but he likes to try anyway. Trying can sometimes accomplish something. It got a bunny to the top of tree, after all. And it tells the bunny that it might as well try to get back down. There no harm in trying.
The bunny looks at the firefly, and looks at the branch below it, and makes up its mind. Thanking the firefly, he turns and leaps for the branch below him.
