Shadow moved into Nadea's arms and hugged her. "I am not trying to be the savior. I wanted to leave that side of me behind when I went to sleep but it comes out to find me, I am a magnet for this stuff. I just want it all to end, to live without the fear of people dying because of me." he said with a sigh. He needed to get all of this out of his system, it had been locked away for to long.

She rubbed his back softly, "Shadow...people die all the time. It is not because of your lackings...its because its their time to go. Their fate....i know all too well about fate. It kicked me in the a** soo many times but i had to get back up and keep walking. There is a plan for you my friend...it will be revealed in time." she sighed and hugged him tightly. "And Shadow....its ok to cry every once in a while. It has its own healing powers that i don't think you've experience in quite some time..." she sighed softly, resting her head against his.

"I do not believe in fate. I can't ebelive that bad people are bad just because that is the way they are suposed to be. I can't accept that i am notin control of my own life." Shadow said as he let out a heavy sigh. "The last time I cried was when Setroth turned on me and I was forced to end him. That was... months ago, it feels like so much longer but everything feels like a long time ago ever since I got back." he added as his eyes started to tear up but he held them back, he had grown acustomed to holding it all back.

She brought his face up so she could look him in the eyes, "Shadow....stop holding back. Just let go....let go of all the pain, the misery...the anger." she said softly, her brows furrowing lightly as she looked into his eyes. She could see and feel all the pain that he hid behind them, it was unexplainable pain and sorrow. "Please Shadow...you need to let go." she smiled softly at him. "Its ok..." she encouraged, it wasn't healthy for him to hold all this in. She amazed that one person could contain that much pain, but then again..she did every day.

With a heavy sigh Shadow lowered his guard and let everything pour out. he was overwelmed with all hsi trapped emotions. Tears fell from his eyes as he looked at Nadea. he didn't understand why he was really doing it but he rarely wen against Nadea's advice. She was usualy right when it came yo these thing. "There, it's all comming out now." he said. He had no idea how long it would take for it all to leave him, there was alot trapped in him after all.

"Shadow!!" Tyrn yelled. he was in the middle of the forest and right next to Shadows army that he reraised after Nina's onslaught earlier. He knew shadow was up cause he wasnt at his crypt. He started heading back to the mansion. he was a little tired and was craving some blood. Shadow might be there He thought. He got into the dining room which was empty and went into the kitchen and poured himself a glass of blood. He went and sat down in his usual spot and meditated to increase his strength which was another trick the fortune teller taught him. Apparently she was a vampire that specialized in spells and ways to help the body. He learned a lot form her. He sat there and meditated for a while. He was ready for anything but death. He needed a bit of practice with them. Until then he sat and meditated while he drank his blood.

Nadea smiled and hugged him to her again, her hand petting the back of his head gently. She rocked him back and forth, letting him cry. She'd let him get it all off his chest, no matter how long it took, she had eternity after all and no doubt his emotional scars would last that long. She hummed a soft lullaby she had sang to her son soo many centuries ago, her voice calming in a motherly way.

"I don't knwo how you have managed to put up with me after all this time. I am a pysical, mental and emotional mess. Not to mention a threat to everyone here." he said as his tears started to slow. He didn't have many tears left. It felt as if he had let tomany ou tint he one go. All he had was annger and hatred but they were drifting off into nothingness as he was forced to confront it all. He hated so much that it was hard for him to call it all up. His parents, grandparents, brother, Lilith but mainly himself.

Nadea was caught off gaurd by his question, but had to tell the truth anyway. She really wished he hadn't had said that at this point in time,"Shadow...you might not like the answer i give you. But in all honesty...its because i love you." she sighed heavily. "I accept you and all you flaws...you're not perfect. And i never expect you to be..." she smiled softly at him. "But...you don't need to hate yourself... or anyone for that matter. Hate only makes you feel bad in the end..." she patted his back and brought his face up to hers again, using her thumb to wipe away his tears.

Shadow didn't knwo hwo to respond to Nadea's answer. he was confused at first as always. His undying blindess was a part of him. he couldn't help but laugh a little, he could read a bttlefield in no time and order strikes and counters in seconds but whne taken away from all of that he was a fish out of water. "The hate is all I have had for centuries. I have not been able to let go of all the things that I have caused in my time. Too much has happened because of my stupidity. How could I forgive myself for letting my wife die or for causing my own brother to go insane?"

Nadea sighed and dropped her hand to her thigh, "Shadow...you didn't let her die. There was nothing you could have done...you were miles away. Stop blaming yourself...it was not your fault." she paused and looked at him, "I...i didn't know you had a brother." she said curiously, not meaning to change the subject.

Tyrn gave up and went up to his room. He opened the door to see a sleeping Sakura in a different position then what he had left her as. He went and sat down next to her. He stroked her cheek and she stirred. He ran his hand through her hair and bent down to her ear. "Io ti amo veramente Sakura. Con tutti il mio cuore e l'anima." He spoke. The magic running through him but to no end for he doesnt control love. He kissed her softly on the cheek. he gabbed his pistols and walked out of his room. He knows Sakura heard those words and he knows that she is dreaming pleasantly now because of what he said in his native tongue. He walked downstairs and sat back down at the table and ordered another glass.
((The Italian up there means: I truly love you Sakura. With all of my heart and soul. . . Just in case you were wondering. wink ))

"Yes, I had a brother. Conrad Von Cartine the second, named after my uncle. We were close fore a while, mother and father always gave him everything but I didn't hold it against him, he was my younger brother after all. He was always so helpless so I had to look out for him. I tried to toughen him up one day by bringing him out to battle one day with me. It didn't help him much but atleast he got to see some things that our parents didn't let him see. When mother and father tried to kill me, I marched against them with what supporters I had. It tore my brother apart, being forced to choose between the parentsd that had given him everything and the brother that had looked out for him. In the end he sidded with the parents and lost his mind when I tore the heads from my parents and then left. He went insane trying to keep what was left of our empire together." Shadow said. His memories of his brother were mostly good ones. It was just a shame that they left on such awkward footing. not that any of it mattered anymore. All records show that his brother died only a few years after Shadow had went for his liong sleep.

Nadea listened carefully to what Shadow said, her brows furrowing at random intervals of the story. She sighed lightly and looked back up at him, "Well....its not entirely your fault he went mad. I understand that the shock of his parent's death took quite a toll on him, but really it was the whole running things. I hate to say it Shadow but...you're going down the same path as him. Taking responsibility of the manors well being and all..." she said softly and looked down.

Shadow knew that it was the truth. He was going to end up liek his brother in the end if he kept all of this up. "I am the head of security, it is my job to make sure that the manor is protected. It is my fault after all the the enemy is comming here. Just think about it. If I never came here then Lilith would not be sending troops but if I never did find this place then I would already be dead, I never would have had those good times. I have no one to share my burden with anymore, now that Cassidy is in that coma. I have no release anymore unless I drink myself to death." he said
