Myeh. Now I want to switch my avatar back to male and see what kind of outfits I can come up with... but I know I'll just want to switch back because there are more female-oriented items on Gaia that fit my style and switching back and forth will get expensive.
Also, I only have 3 pages left before I'm caught up in the main RP and I'm not sure how to write myself in. I keep getting this idea in the back of my mind of having Koji "go rogue" but I don't know how that would even work or come about in such a short time frame.. Maybe I'll just have him go missing and introduce a different character to take his place for a little while? Maybe I'll come up with something by the time I'm caught up.

That reminds me, there were monks at Anime Expo this year handing out book on Buddhism. I was really pleased, usually we just get crazy Christians telling us how we're all going to hell and need to repent for the sinful lifestyle of the Otaku, lmao. [We did actually have Christian protesters too. But the monks were there the first two days].

Well I hadn't planned on killing him off. [[I had an idea inspired by the episode "Lake Laogai" of Avatar: The Last Airbender. More on this idea in the spoiler v]]
I was thinking it would be interesting to have him carted off by higher-ups in the Kuro gang who were trying to protect the lower ranks from finding out about the Don's dealings. Then come back at some point brainwashed(?) into forgetting his reservations about staying with the gang. Since I set up Foxi as a freelance information broker who sometimes deals with the Kuro gang, he would have been trying to get information from her and been placed under the gangs radar? So she would team up with the black-ops gang to try and find where he was carted off to.
But... that would sort of derail us in a different direction and I wasn't really sure where you guys were going at the moment.

so, have any of you guys heard about the Awa Tribe blockade of iron ore shipments via train in Brazil?
I put up a Thread about it in the ED. in Brazil, this mining company has a railroad that they use to ship iron ore from their mine to a port. the train scares off wild game and cuts off the trails that the Awa use. the company, called Vale, is planning to expand the railroad.
20 Awa Tribesman are blocking the railroad, which threatens to push their people to the brink of extinction, and they are demanding that the Brazilian government make reforms to the Indigenous Health Service laws. they are not even getting the services they are promised in the current law.

I hadn't bothered you about it, Nari, cause I figured you wouldn't actually care to post and I knew I was already being rude to quote people at all. was trying to limit it to those I thought likely to post about it.
there's a website and everything which is dedicated to protecting the rights of Tribal people. it's an organization called Survival International.
I honestly don't know why you think I wouldn't at least read it... Feeling somewhat insulted for being left out on such an odd-- and wrong-- assumption.confused
