Is lost among the crowds of confused students and staff... But at least the whole incident seemed to draw attention away from the way she broke up with Chris. Cassie sighed and made her way to her room. She was going to need a nice long bubble bath. It's just been one thing after another lately.

When Zinda brought out their food Iris ate hers very fast. and then drank her lemonade and looked at Chris.

"No need to apologize this is very tasty. Earth food is good. And Kandor? Never heard of it. Do you know anything about somewhere called the Phantom Zone?'

"Not all of them are can be that bad right. I'm sure there are some people there by mistake. If you think about it, it would be the people that sent the innocents there that are truly horrible right?" He came off a little more defensive than he had intended. He quickly sipped from his drink.

Iris hoped she didn't offend him. He's the one who brought up the phantom zone in the first place.

"Oh nothing really. To be honest my memory is a bit fuzzy. Seems to be one thing I remember, Maybe my parents were police officers on Krypton or something" Again he lied, but he didn't want to let her know he had been born and grown in some prison. He knew he and his parents were criminals, but she didn't.

In the girls dorm Jen woke up from her sleep and felt her head pound but it seemed to be a lot clearer than last night. It had been a fuzzy welcome party she remembered that. She had met up with Wally who had told her about Achi..it hadn't taken her long to sneak out. She remembered that and moving in...but everything after was a blank.
I didn't drink did I? I think there were lots of beers. Did Wally drug me? Nah, that goofball wouldn't do that...just what happened? Why am I now not thinking as fondly of Achilles? That guy is still a stud! I'll need to check him out again, not streaking this time. I don't think we found him last night...unless I forgot.
Jen got up and noticed she'd fallen asleep in her clothes. She looked across and saw the large hole she'd made when she'd snuck back in.
'Oh Ms Frost is not going to like that, not when she'd made this dorm room especially re-enforced for my uncontrollable strength.
She looked back at her bed and saw a foot poking out from under it. She could hear some faint snoring and looked under the mattress to check. There hiding underneath was Wally West, snuggling up to her boots and with a few bumps on his head. There was also a letter with her name on it. Jen took the letter and tucked it in her back pocket.
"Okay time to get up or I'm calling Ms Frost on your stalker a**!" Jen said lifting the bed up above her head and throwing it to the side with a loud crash.

"Waaah!" Wally woke up to the unpleasant feeling of a bed being thrown next to him on the floor. He blinked and looked up at the green giantess staring down at him.
"Who're you?!"
Wait...her name was Jen. She was a new student, and...
"Aaaaah! What am I doing here?!" Wally jumped to his feet and ran around the room, creating a mini whirlwind. "Don't kill me! I don't know why I'm here!"
Wally was one of the shortest guys in the freshman class, and Jen TOWERED over him. At this very moment, she was more terrifying than the scariest girl in school, Karen Starr. Wally backed up against the door and tried to explain.
"Uh, uh, uh...okay, you came here yesterday, and I saw you in your car, and then it was like a symphony of angels started singing your name or some-DAMN." Wally punched one hand into the other and looked up at Jen. "Do you know what this was? This was one of Billy Kaplan's crazy spells gone wrong again!"
Jen set down the suitcase she was preparing to swat Wally with. She HAD heard, during her cousin's long, boring lecture in the car, that some of the students at Hero High could cast magical spells. They probably rode fluttery ponies in the air, too.
"Who is Billy Kaplan?" She asked him, opting to cross her arms in front of her, like she was interrogating a dangerous criminal who'd infiltrated her room, and not some little guy who'd probably just walked into the giant hole she'd left in the wall.
"He's one of the school witches. You'll probably hear rumors about him. Ignore them; he's a nice guy who gets bullied. BUT he does tend to cast spells that go wonky ALL the time. He was probably trying to put the whammy on his boyfriend, and, WHAM! Suddenly I'm your shadow, and you....oh, man....I remember now. You wanted information about....*snrk* ACHILLES!"

Jen scratched her head at the mention of Achilles. She was interested in a strange fuzzy memory. She sat down on her suitcase so she was at least eye level with the short freshman.
"I guess I do." Jen said a lot less enthusiastic than previous mention of Achille's name. "I mean I might want to take a second look at him just to be sure he really is the man of my dreams and not just some spell. Plus he really seems my type, all big and muscularly."
"Yeah... good idea." Wally squeaked. 'I mean when you do meet him I'm sure you'll see how gay he really is and give up...not saying that she might kill me.'
"Geez, you look like you a deer in headlights, lighten up Wally. I think I believe you." Jen said. "I mean, you don't look like the stalker type and it was really weird how I got some weird glitter flower effect as he ran past. That's not his powers is it?"
Wally shook his head. He was still too scared of this Jade giantess that was now eye level with him. It didn't really help.
"So you going to take to see this guy or do I need to throw you over my shoulder?"
Wally zipped across to the She-Hulk hole. "This way ."
"Good, then we'll find out for sure if it really was magic!" Jen snapped. She was put out, she hadn't been in love yet, she hated the idea of being in love by magic. It didn't seem as nice as the real thing. She made a mental note of the name Kaplan. If he was responsible he would have to pay.

Wally led Jen from the girl's dorm over to the boy's dorm. The fallout of the love spell was everywhere. Glitter somehow rained all over the snowfall. paper hearts were taped on every wall. All of the poor trees on campus had been scrawled over with hearts and initials. Wally could hear the gardener, Mr. Holland weeping at the sight.
In the boy's dorm, there was a lot of angry shouting going on. Yup, definitely a love spell. Lisa Snart stormed out of one dorm room screaming 'AND DON'T YOU EVER, EVER EVEN LOOK AT ME AGAIN. OH. MY. GOD.' She gave Wally and Jen a dirty look and stomped out the door.
"Uh, that was Lisa. She's sort of the reigning diva on campus." Wally felt like he was giving some sort of guided tour. Jen raised her eyebrows at Lisa stomping away. She decided to keep an eye on that one. She'd never gotten along well with 'divas.'
"Achilles' dorm room is on the same floor as me, it's this one right here." Wally bit his lower lip trying hard not to crack a grin. Poor Achilles. He just couldn't stop getting the attention of the scariest girls in school...
"No time like the present, then!" Jen knocked firmly on the door and waited for Achilles to answer. She turned to Wally while they were waiting.
"So, tell me more about Hunky-dory here. What're his interests? Hobbies? Nice guy?"
"Achilles is the actual Achilles from the Trojan war." Wally replied. "He was brought here at age 16 through time travel because...okay, I don't really know why, but he's here. He has a pet two-trunked elephant name Mysia who lives on campus near the stadium. Achilles digs, um, let's see...wrestling, body oil, lifting weights...musicians," Guys, guys, guys... "Football, nature, camping, and ice cream. He's sort of naive about modern things. He hates pants. He's one of my best friends."
And Wally couldn't wait to see how THIS meeting was going to go. He had to admit - this was all a welcome distraction from all of the angsting about Cassie and Dani. He really needed to catch up with Chris, though, and set the record straight with him.
Yeah, that was going to be fun.
Better off spending a little time yanking Achilles around for now.

Amora was sitting somewhere on campus by her lonesome, wondering where oh where had her little Blake gone. She decided it was time to get up and walk around a bit, and having turned the corner, there she saw, to her mortification, Donald wrapped in the arms of Emma Frost, who was deeply making out with him.
"mmMmmmmM.... oh my love, my darling... MMmmmgmmmMMm..." said Emma. Donald seemed as though he were in Paradise, but a moment later, Emma's mouth stopped moving. Her eyelids slowly lifted to reveal an awkward young blonde boy in front of her -- definitely NOT the man of her dreams. In less than a heartbeat she threw Blake off of herself and gave him the look of a thousand plagues and nuclear winters while the boy looked up at her confused from the ground.
"I don;'t have time to deal with whatever that was right now, but you will certainly be hearing from me soon, Mr. Blake -- and NOT in a good way." With those spiteful words Emma stormed away.

*Chris spent another day throwing himself into his studies to distract himself from the crap in his life. The breakup was a horror but add in the fact that he had a nightmare that he was marrying Iris last night....gah!
After grueling lessons with Sensei Murdock and Mr. Rogers, Chris headed over to the gym to shower. He decided to take a swim too. Hopefully he could avoid Mr. Allen. Chris had heard the man was still furious over Iris. But...it wasn't Chris's fault! Stupid miscast spells!!*

Jen pause from knocking on Achille's door.
"What are you smirking about?" Looking down at Wally who had a big goofy grin on his face. "Does this guy have like some sort of weird power or something?"
"No! Totally normal super strength kind of guy." Wally answered. 'Just that he likes other guys, but I guess it's best you find out the hard way.' He tried to straighten his face again. It would only spoil the surprise for both Jen and Achilles.
Jen took a deep breath and knocked on the door but her fist went through the door.
"Oh why can't I get just a simple tap right?" Jen moaned. This was not the impression she was wanting to make.
