The squad stops in their tracks and look around in confusion. "Where did he go?" The squad leader thinks for a moment, then responds. "We know he is heading towards Haven. Block all known paths and secure the area. He couldn't have gone too far. The only way forward is through us and we know he won't be turning back."

Fayt went up in a tree about 100 feet away from Haven. "aww there are the people who are trying to catch me. this is just great." He thought for a second. "Zanath go attack them now!" he tells Zanath then goes stealth.

The squad leader paced restlessly. He hated waiting for some sign of the escaped prisoner. Suddenly a cry of surprise and pain comes from far off, followed by several more. He smiles. "That would be him. At last." He takes off running in the direction of the screams.

(same for me and screams?? im confuzled. and yes that's spelled right. heres how to say it con-fuzz-ul-ed lol made it up rofl ) Zanath ran up and started burning the squad. Fayt stealthly got farther away so he would not be seen, hopefully.

The commander arrived to witness the squad falling into utter chaos. "I thought they were trained better than this." Ignoring them he starts searching for the escaped prisoner.

((o ok that makes sense)) Fayt kept going back till he reached the coast. "ok that should distract them long enought that I can get to the river" he said running along the southern beach westward.

((its a miracle me and shade are actually on at the same time!!)) Fayt made it to the river and took a quick turn. He could barely see Zanath battling ahead. "good the leader probably set out to follow my trial and the rest are at the other entrances so heres my chance!" he said running up and blowing the enemies away for a few seconds then running inside haven's barrier. Then he desummoned Zanath and walked into the town.

The commander saw the prisoner going for the barrier to Haven. He runs at full speed to intercept him, but gets there too late. before bursting into flames and desintegrating into ash he manages one word. "Dammit."
