Ciel took another sip of her cocoa as she watched Yuki sleep. 'She looks so peaceful…' Yuki’s quiet snoring was the only sound. Ciel glanced over out of the corner of her eye looking toward Rina. She didn’t look much older than Ciel. Rina yawned and Ciel found herself as well. 'I mustn’t fall asleep; not yet...' Ciel thought furiously. “No... my chicken wing...” Ciel jumped as Yuki’s voice broke the peaceful “silence”. She had begun to mumble in sleep. As her pounding heart slowed, she began to smile softly. With Yuki saying such strange things it was hard not to.

The cookie that Yuki had in her hand slowly fell out of her hand, and when it did she woke up so quick that it was like she wasn't asleep at all. She jumped up and grabbed the cookie of the couch. "MINE!" she said before shoving it in her mouth. "Sorry, what were we talking about?" she asked, now fully awake.

Rina couldn't hold it back any longer; she started to laugh. Her laughter shook her body, and she had to work to calm down, gasping for air. "Yu...ki....you...were..." But Rina was so amused that she couldn't finish her sentence. She could only come out with, "You were talking in your sleep again." And Rina stifled her giggles, forgetting about the worries that lingered in the back of her mind.

Ciel laughed along with Rina. She nearly spilled her cocoa she managed to calm herself down, even though Rina's laughter was making it hard to stop. As her laughter dissipated, a question popped into her mind. “Um, Yuki?” she began trying to choose her words carefully “Do you, um, run the café…by yourself?”

Yuki looked up and stopped blushing from her slight embarassment. "Yes I do. It's actually a very small café. I cook, clean, and waitress, all on my own. I'm almost done with fixing the last two rooms on the end of the hall, then I might have a small bed and breakfast by the time I'm done." she said with a smile.

It was pretty obvious where Ciel's and Yuki's conversation was going. She resettled herself back into the couch cushions, raising her arms behind her head. She fixed her eyes on the ceiling, waiting for the climax.

"Oh. Do you..." She trailed off, her question heard only to herself 'Do you live here by yourself too?' It was rude to ask Yuki a personal questions about herself. Especially since they had met so recently. "Um..." she struggled to think of another question "Do you need any help? um, running the cafe I mean..." She smiled sheepishly and looked at Yuki.

Yuki raised and eyebrow and then began thinking out loud. "Well, I could use some help. I always have Sam here glad to stay, but eventually his mother will call him home or something. Adrian, well, he's never around that much. He kinda hides away in the shadows. I myself am on depression pills that... crap now everyone knows about. But anyways, Yeah. I live alone at this point in time and work alone. Why do you ask?" she asked slightly puzzled. She was still completely clueless.

(( Wow, Lazu was planning to do this and even she was clueless. It really was obvious, people. rofl ))
Rina sighed, then sat up. Yuki worked hard by herself in this little place. Rina longed to help her best friend, but she had her hands tied herself, having to support herself on a shabby cafe waitress salary and living in a broken down apartment. At least Yuki might be getting an extra hand. Now Rina wouldn't have to worry about Yuki's cheeriness driving her to working herself to death.

Yuki smiled. She understood where this was going. "If you're offering, I'd have to make you fill out an application you know. It wouldn't take long, and you'd have to prove you're fit to do this job by a week long trial. In fact, Rina, why don't you dump your job and house and live here now that I think of it? It wouldn't be that big a change for me." she said smiling.

"Week long trial...?" Ciel laughed nervously.'Wow, a whole week?' Ciel thought to herself. "Okay Yuki...um...when do you want me to fill out the application?" Working for Yuki would be a good opportunity-- it would help Ciel keep her mind off of things.

Yuki smiled. "You choose. You can fill it out now of later." she said with a smile. She got up and walked into the kitchen.m moments later coming back with a copy of the application. She handed the yellowish tinted paper to Ciel. "This is what it looks like."
