Selkisto thought a moment. "I assume that after testing these systems, I will be able to retrieve my ship?" He had a lot of attatchment to his A-Wing, after all.

Selkisto nodded. "Of course... I'll get to my A-Wing and follow you." He jumped down the ramp to the ground beneath the ship, then ran back to his A-Wing.

Jaden stepped to the door of the Mandolorian Armormy to which he had noticed it was Cannoks making noise outside. He quickly Shot Two blasts into the air and they scuttled off. And new message had arrived on His Computer, He was to head to Geonosis and await further Instructions. He Quickly Stole a mining Ship and was on his way.

He prepared His blasters, for all he knew this was a trap. He also Pocketed his Vibroblade, Who knows what sick Creatures he may find on his way. He Walked slowly over to the Storage. "Ah Bread, Carbohydrates, Just what a Man Needs"

((If you don't mind me asking, what kind of turret is it? Something like on the Millenium Falcon, or like an LAAT/i Gunship bubble turret?))

Ganil nodded and walked to the turret cockpit and sat down. He adjusted his safety harness and took the communications headset off from its hanger on the side and put it on. He tapped the audio unit ((mike)) to make sure it was working correctly, then turned his attention to the console before him. He tapped several buttons to activate it and placed his hands on the triggers, getting a feel of his surroundings. He noted each button on the trigger, the main laser weapons and the various functions of the other buttons as well. He moved the turret around and went back to its default position.

"All systems are go here," Ganil said into the comm.

"We can multitask this if we do it right... Most of these systems will run simultaneously anyways.." Neb stated, taking off at a slow pace towards a ravine used for fighter training, as newly installed by the republic at the wishes of the council.

"Ganil, I need the guns calibrated. The base will launch some drones, fairly small, but the targeting computer will lock on to them. Get the guns calibrated for linked and independent fire when they do come. I don't want you to actually do any skilled shooting, just let the comp calibrate, since I'm hoping to eventually get some droids in here to use the guns when nobody else is around to help out."

"Mor, there will be guns firing from the surface. I want the upgrades on the shield to be operational and see what all they can take. The blasts won't be real strong until we get that thing working. Make sure all three of them work properly. The ship came with some decent ones, and I got the riggings up for some Mon Cal technology which I hope to aquire in the future to really beef the defenses up on this ship. Once you get the shields working, I want the panels defense systems to be checked as well. They are supposed to move slightly to help deflect incoming fire."

Neb reached for the com, buzzing Selk. "Listen, I'm going to turn the masking system on for a bit, check the standard scanners and see if you can get my signature. Nothing fancy, just a normal scan. Not all of us are real smugglers, ya know..."

Selkisto was in his A-Wing and ready to go. "Acknowledged." He performed a basic scan, utilizing none of the expanded abilities of the advanced comm array that was crammed into his ship. The scan came up without showing Neb's ship. "I can't see ya, Neb."

((All right, then change whatever I said into sitting at the turret computer/station-thingy.))

Ganil was still familiarizing himself with the console as Neb spoke, and turned to him when he was finished.

"Got it."

He turned back and tapped a few buttons to get the targeting computer operational, his eyes scanning the display for irregularites. He did a double-take on one set of numbers that looked a little odd. He wasn't a master pilot or anything, but he had a hunch it was not supposed to be that way. He kept a mental note to keep an eye out for that. He looked up and out of the window, trying to spot the drones.
