He didn't move from where he was, watching, as she went in and out of the room. He didn't want to fight right now.. those twins were exhusting to deal with! He wondered if she was leaving now.. or if she was going to try to talk to him. He hoped not.

Remmy sighed. Pyralis was upstairs asleep and she really had nothing to do. "So, other than grumpy, how are you today?" she asked after quietly shutting the door. She'd go practice with her swords but had no sparring partner.

He supressed a groan.. small talk.. he HATED small talk!! So he responded as sarcastically as he could "Oh you know life's a bowl of cherries and all that good stuff! I almost feel like frolicking in a medow.. *he rolled his eyes* Why are you talking to me anyway?"

Remmy shrugged. "I'm utterly bored and have resorted to talking to the most woderful person in the world." she said, nodding ehr head slightly. There was no sarcasm in her voice but considering their history, however short, you would know how sarcastic that was. She plopped down on one of the cushions that were sitting near the walls in the hallways. "Besides, you're grumpy."

He glared "I'm NOT grumpy.. I'm guarding. Why don't you go make mushy eyes at your guardian.. that should be more enjoyable for you!"

Remmy rolled her eyes. "First of all, I don't make mushy eyes, I throw things at people who do that. Second of all, he happens to be asleep. And you're still grumpy, a grumpy guardian guarding his mistress." she said calmly and matter-of-factly.

He sighed "You do make mushy eyes actually.. it's quite annoying. So go sleep with him.... *pause* That didn't sound right. Never mind.. don't go sleep with him... and believe me if I were grumpy you would know!

Remmy raised an eyebrow. "You realize that you mistake adoration for mushy eyes right? You have no clue how people who aren't obsessed with finding their true loves look at each other. And you are constantly grumpy, it's when you get riled up that you think of yourself as grumpy." Remmy was making shapes in the air with her finger. She had ignored his comment about the sleep thing.

He raised an eyebrow.. well if he had one as a raven it would be raised "So if you adore someone you DON'T give them mushy eyes. I knew I wasn't well-informed on that kind of stuff.. but I didn't think I was THAT off.. *sighs* Why does everyone think I'm grumpy.. I just don't like people.. or other guardians... or anything for that matter. *thoughtful look* Except maybe Franki.. she grows on you... yeah I don't dislike her as much as everyone else."

Remmy chuckled. "Py and I have better respect for each other than to act like a love struck couple, especially since we've always been really close. And if you're not grumpy then you're anti-social which is highly possible. And Franki is very interesting, she kind of grows on you because she has an odd but very nice personality." Remmy didn't want to offend Franki with the odd part but she was a bit eccentric.

"I like it that way! I don't need to be social to work with you and the others. I can be professional about the whole thing! I wouldn't hinder our chances at wining if I thought I would be a liability by not being.. 'friendly'!" He was tired of arguing as a bird so at the end of his tirade he transformed back to human form.

Remmy chuckled. "You know, you're as touchy as you seem to think I am? I'm not exactly a social butterfly but I do know how to be nice. Alienate them and if a situation arises where you did have to take charge you'd be lost because no one would pay attention because they'd be too scared. You have to remember that many of ours are meek." she said, giving him a knowing look while smiling.

He rolled his eyes " Tell me about it.. I can't understand why so many of them are so... ugh! I doubt they have what it takes to survive this... hopefully their guardians will take responsibilty and train them... though I doubt they've thought of it! And I'm not touchy.... I just don't like.. emotional stuff. I don't care if they are scared.. if they get scared of me.. they'd never be able to handle LaMort.. they need to get over it.. and fast!"
