*smirk* You'll see.
*Luke's digging for his keys in his bag and having trouble. He bangs a heavy fist on the door.* "HEY CHUCKIE!! OPEN THIS ******** DOOR!"
*After a few moments, footfalls are heard and the door lock jiggles and the door's pulled open.*
Chuck shakes his head to Luke. "Dude, I am so glad you're not the pizza delivery guy." Then, Chuck looks over and sees... "CORA BLAIZE!" He's all grins and opens his arms for a hug. "HEY! What're you doing here?!"

Ah! :::A shrill squeek of surprise is squeezed out of Cora's lungs as she's suddenly engulfed by a very large man, but she catches her barings again even before he lets her go:::
Hehehe... uh. Surprise visit. :::She adds as an after thought::: Eh?

"Nice. I'm surprised." *Chuck turns to Luke.* "When did you find out about this?"
*Luke goes along with it.* "I had no idea she was coming, man! Then I get this phone call today. She was in the area and wanted to party, so... naturally, I brought her here."
*Chuck smiled.* "That's awesome." *Chuck looks her over.* "Do you have like any bags or anything to bring in?"
*Luke answered for Cora.* "They're downstairs in my car. We'll get 'em in a sec."
"Alright." *Chuck walked inside and Luke followed. Chuck asked Cora.* "How've you been, Cora? How's Canada?"

It's uuhh... boring. :::She picks up quickly after that::: The fun is all here. I mean back home I just sit around all day and read. I was going out of my mind. Thank goodness Luke-

"Yeah, I have to sit around and read all the time, too. It sucks," Chuck said. "If it's that boring, you should come here more often."
Luke again answered for Cora. "Yeah, well, the plane ride's a b***h. It takes forever to get here." When Chuck wasn't looking, Luke gave Cora a small wink.
"The actual plane ride's probably short. It's just all the security they put you through." Chuck looked to Cora. "So you're here for the weekend?"

Chuck smiled. "Well, that's what we specialize in around here. Glad to see the word's got out." Then, he asked. "Are you guys hungry? I got a pizza coming like..." Chuck looked down at his watch. "Any second."
Luke blinked twice and asked, "Yeah, did I hear right? You thought I was the pizza delivery guy? I was banging down the door."
Chuck shrugged. "I told the guy my name on the phone. And I changed my order twice."
Luke laughed appreciatively. "Fair enough. What'd you say, babe? You want in?" He knew there was pizza now in the Brink, but he remembers the Great Pizza Fiasco of 2002 all too well.

::She rubbed the underside of her wrist abscently when she realized that she was still wearing her cuffs and she quickly hid her hands behind her back. Big metal shiny arm mechanisms probably were not part of 21st century fashion:::

"You eat it cold?" He laughed a little, looking at her oddly. "What...?"
Luke stood by, watching it play out. He'd step in and save her at some point. But in truth, it was fun watching her sweat the questions. When Chuck looked at him, Luke put his hands. "Don't look at me, man. I don't live in Canada." Luke grinned at Cora.

It tastes different when it's hot. I like it better cold... after it's been refrigerated.
:::But suddenly she felt like she was just digging herself deeper, with absolutely no help from Luke who should have known what she was going through. Cora shot him a look:::

Chuck gave a nod, accepting that maybe, it was possible that some people might like it that way. "That's so weird," he said, but now his voice was teasing. "How can you not like hot pizza?"
Luke grinned. Cora had taken care of it, in a way. "You weird Canadians. Though I do have to say that cold pizza IS a breakfast of champions."
"You've got a point." Chuck agreed. "I look forward to it sometimes. Like after you get the pizza, to the cold pizza in the morning."

:::Cora sighed quietly. Perhaps it was acceptable, in any case Luke didn't seem to be panicing over the situation (in fact he was downright enjoying himself watching her take the heat as far as Cora could tell) So maybe she wasn't guilty of some terrible taboo, and she relaxed just a bit:::
