The most important things you want are for minimum to aim for.

3ghz cpu processor, maybe 2.5 but 3 is better and stil not the m ax
also cant be centrino

at least 1 gig ram

at least 60 gigs of memory

descent Videocard, but those alone can be like 300 bucks.

descent audio card.

cd-r/dvd combo drive minimum

thats off the top of my head.
