Jason just stared at her, then closed his sketchbook again and put his pencil down. Just then, a waitress walked up to the table with his coffee. He took it from her and smiled at her. "One second..." he mumbled before digging in his pocket. He pulled out a five dollar bill and handed it to her, quickly getting a thank you from her before she ran off. "What makes you think that?" he asked before taking a sip of his coffee.
(( xd He hadn't, but we'll pretend he did.))

well nothing really, just looking at the tell tale signs most men don't seem to notice it alot but 4 out of 5 women can.
Rose motioned towards a blonde girl sitting near the door.
She wore a very short dress and had packed on the makeup.
"makeup is ment to make you look pretty..but not if you put it on that much a girl who is going out with her boyfriedn will put on a little but not that much, they want the guy to like them for natural beauty and personality,"
A man was in the corner drinking himself stupid wailing on to air about how he could change for the better.
"No need to explain that one," Rose smiled
A man was in the corner wearing reading glasses, a drink in his hand but no book.
"reading glasses, where is the book? he doesn't want to read one because 3 out of 4 books have romance in them.
She eyed the last person sitting in the corner stuffing them self with choc chip cookies and anything with more then a table spoon of sugar.
"Comfort food," Rose concluded.

Jason smiled to himself before taking another sip of coffee. "How...observant, of you." he said with a small laugh. "Well, I guess I've...perfected, the art of keeping a broken heart hidden, then." he took another sip of his coffee after speaking, then set it down on the table and looked at her.

ShtrDrNGry Hotari paused a moment and giggled, nodding to the girls and standing. Alright then...she said softly, slinking off to the counter again. Talk more! she giggled, glancing back over her shoulder to her loves. blinked at her then returned her gaze to Miyoko. Her own conversation skills were lacking severly. "Well..uh.. You say you have a brother.. What's he like?" Why she asked, she didn't know but it was the first thing she could think of.

Rose was shocked, Jason had a broken heart? what? why hadn't she picked up on it sooner?.
Rose gave a small frown to herself for her own confusuion and blindness to the truth.
She took a sip of her martini and held it in her hand. She looked down at the table,a saddned look on her face.
"I had no idea...I assumed you were single but..I didn't know you had broken up with someone,"
Rose placed her glass on the table.
An awkward silence pased between her and Jason.
"Did it happen long ago?" Rose finally asked.

He smiled to himself, then looked down at his coffee cup, and played with the handle on it. "I didn't break up with her. It was more along the lines of....she cheated on me right in front of my eyes, and I ran away. That's when I came here, and found this place..." he sighed, then looked back up at her. "Haven't you ever had a boyfriend?"

Rose blushed and hide her face behind the overly large menu.
"well...uh... in a manner no," Rose ,although not seen blushed a deer crimson red, similar to that of a red Rose.
"I-I guess I never had time for a relation ship. I've always put work ahead of romance.
My parents where strict I was sent to an all girls school and even after I finished my parents where against me ever getting a boyfriends.
I have always had the opportunity to get one, i mean I used to see this one guy on the bus everyday when I caught the bus to and from school.
We got along really well and I had an Idea that he might like me, but when he admited it I just couldn't find myself to saying that I also liked him. So I just started to catch a different bus everyday,"
Rose put the menu down and smiled to herself.

Jason smiled a little wider. "Now that's something that seems strange to me." he said before tucking his sketchbook and pencil into his bag which was sitting by his feet. He leaned forward on the table and looked at her, then blinked. "Do you want to go somewhere else? All these people....I dunno...making me nervous."

Rose drew in a short breath and exhailed.
She leared in closer to Jason so she could wisper in his ear.
"Your right, that girl over there seems to be loking at you in the wrong way,"
Rose bit her lip and smiled as she eyes towards a girl over the other side of the room who seemed to be paying particualr attention to Jason making a few seductive gestures.
Rose got up from her Chair and headed to wards the door, opened it and stood in the archway waiting for Jason.
"So any where you wanna go in particular?" Rose asked looking out into the street.

Jason struggled not to laugh, and he quickly looked toward the girl. "You think?" he asked with a small laugh. He stood, pulled his coat a little tighter around him and picked up his bag and put the strap over his shoulder. He followed Rose, but stopped by the girl that had been looking at him and whispered 'no thank you' in her ear before walking outside and waiting for Rose. "Cemetery? I think I left something there that I need to go back and get."

Rose hide a laugh as Jason bent down to talk to the now stunned girl, her jaw dropped.
"Cemetary sounds nice to me," Rose replied with a gentle smile.
Rose exited, and almost imediatly a black limo ran up infront of Rose and she entered.
"My car or yours?," she Questioned with a laugh.

Jason smiled to himself, then looked down at the ground before sticking his hands in his pockets. "I don't have a car." he said, his smile fading for a moment then coming back. He looked up at her. "I was hoping we could walk, but oh well." he said before shrugging and entering the limo after her.

Yoshiko bounced into the coffeeshop, eager to explore her new home. going to the coyunter, sheordered something highly sugary and triple caffieneted, not like she needed more energy, but she enjoyed the taste. taking a seat at a table, she flipped out her cellphone and started to make a vido diary, talking gaily to the air any small observation that crossed her mind.

Keladry made her way to the counter, ordering a double fat-free latte before finding a seat at a nearby table. She glanced around, an amused smile on her face at the new arrival at another table.
