Most of the hamburgers were almost done cooking, so Lily turned around to look at the group of travelers. Noticing that Eadoin was still wearing his clothes from Denduron, Lily went into her bedrooom and got out a pair of clothes her brother had left when he used to live with her. When she came back out, she saw Ilandere.
"Are... are you feeling okay? Anything I can get you?" Lily asked, coming up behind her.

“Eh . . . I guess. I didn’t really think about it. At first it didn’t sound like anything I’ve ever heard but something sort of clicked and the language was suddenly normal.” Eadoin said thoughtfully, “Is that weird?”

Ilandere heard Lily and quickly turned her face away to hide her tears. She wiped them on her sleeve but didn’t look back to Lily.
“Em . . . yeah, I’m fine. I’ll be fine.” She said shakily.

Je suis a toi Ilandere heard Lily and quickly turned her face away to hide her tears. She wiped them on her sleeve but didn’t look back to Lily.
“Em . . . yeah, I’m fine. I’ll be fine.” She said shakily.
Lily wanted to cry out. But instead she just nodded her head and walked away, blinking the tears from her eyes. Just then, a hard knock sounded on the door. Lily cautiously opened it. "Who's there?" she asked as she glanced out. ((It's Jake, btw.))

Ilandere froze when she heard the knock at the door. It took everything she had to tell Lily not to open it. Instinct was trying to kick in at this time; Ilandere didn’t want to take any chances of allowing someone dangerous in. But what if this was important? Forget it, she thought, whatever happens, happens and you just have to face it.
Hoping she wouldn’t come to regret this, Ilandere pushed herself up off the floor with her good arm and let Lily open the door.

Artemis quickly turned toward the doorway. He cocked his head to the side quickly and took a step forward. He grabbed one of the hamburgers and held it. He took a bite and sat down on the couch next to Charade looking at both the door and Devon.

Charade could feel it. Something big was going to happen. She looked at Artemis next to her. 'Oh well, if something important is going to happen, might as well eat something.' She though, while walking over grabbing a "hamburger" (what ever those were) and sitting back down at her place on the couch.

Artemis leaned back and chuckled at Christopher's impatience. He started eating the hamburger in his hands. Death by fat. How exciting.
"Calm yourself Christof. The impatience is bad for your health. Along with hamburgers, cigs, and certain kinds of juices. Don't ask me why."
