Damn, I'm starting to think that I was rejected to join a guild. I mean, I sent the join request yesterday, and today I checked and most of the mods were online. Question: Do we get a message telling us that we were rejected?

Yes, I do believe you get a message saying if you were accepted or not. But I've never been rejected, so I don't know. I'm finally home! The trip was evil, but not so bad. I'll post details later, after I've written it all into my journal. I don't wanna type it twice, and my sister wants to try stalking this guy from North Carolina we met on the trip. I don't know why, but everyone else wants us to go visit them on our cross-country trip in August. Not going to. I hope. Though we're driving through North Carolina. So I don't know. We'll see. Now I have to stop typing and let Monica go online.

XxfushigipinayxX stalking a guy you met on the trip? did she just think he was hot or did they become really good friends? im glad you dont think the trip was that evil though Another girl thought he was hot. And Monica has this weird thing with stalking people. She finds their addresses and then never uses them. Though she found some person's phone number, from the Soledad Brothers. And she called him. I personally think the guy from North Carolina was ugly. Or at least not hot. And he was really rude to his brother and sister, who I was talking to for a lot of time that night. LHL: " My NI"? Since when am I yours? And it's not my fault that I hate repeat threads. And annoying threads. It's because I was in the GD for a long time. They have little to no tolerance for that type of thing. Sailor_Saki: My journal can only be read by people in my friendslist. I decided there were things in it that I didn't want people I don't know to read. I'll post it here. Like I said, my sister stalks a lot of people. She found this website that you can type in the name of the person, the city they in, and the state, and it'll find matches to it. Or close ones, at the very least. Yeah, I'll go copy my journal and paste it in here.

The Grand Canyon Trip... from my point of view So, the last five days. On Saturday, I woke up at 6:30. I woke up easdier than I do to go to school. Which is odd, 'cause I went to bed later. People were supposed to come at 7:30, but they started to show up at 7:00, because that's what the e-mail said. So we left around 7:45 or 8:00. We drove and drove and I read a bit. But I didn't really like the books I'd brought with me, so I ended up staring out the window a lot. We stopped at a Burger King somewhere, for a bathroom and breakfast break. Then we got back in the cars. At that time, Monica got into the same van as me. She was so annoying. She kept talking to me, while I was trying to read. And she was in my space, way too close for my own comfort. Then she poured water on my shirt. I tried to wrestle the bottle out of her grip, but that's a bit hard to do when I have a seat belt on in a moving van. But I did manage to spill a bit on her. Then she drank it all. Might I add that it was my water. Not hers. At the next stop, which was at a Taco Bell in Cherry something or other, I refused to let her get onto the van with me. Let her be bored mindless with my mom, I don't care. It's not my problem. After we ate at Taco Bell, most people went to the nearby K-Mart. I didn't want to walk through the hot parking lot, so I stayed in nice air-conditioned Taco Bell. Then we drove more. At about 3:30 or 4:00, we finally reached the Hualapai hotel where we were staying. So we checked in and got our stuff into the room. I went swimming with my mom, while my sister went running around with Sarah, Jennifer, and Ashley. I don't know what she did during that time. Though at one point, she came into the pool area with a thing full of ice and started throwing the ice over the fence. Half the time the ice wouldn't even go over the fence, and then it would bounce toward to pool. I grabbed a piece of ice and threw it at her. She tried to throw ice at me, but I went under the water and it didn't hit me. Or if it did, I didn't feel it. Then she dumped the ice into the water and left. I grabbed a piece of quickly-melting ice and went and pressed it against my mom's shoulder. It was fun. Then we got out, I showered and washed my hair, and we went to eat. The food was awful. I got fried chicken, and it was dry and burned. I think all the food there was pre-bought and frozen or something. But whatever. I got through it. After that, I went upstairs and watched TV. I was going to go walking with my mom and everyone else, but then my mom got on my nerves, so I went back up to the room instead. I watched TV for a while, and wondered why it was sou loud outside. Then the phone rang. It was the people at the front desk. They told me to shut up. In nicer words. I wasn't doing anything. It was my sister and the other three. So I glared at the phone for a bit, then went back to watching TV, resolving to yell at the person if she called back. There wasn't anything I could do about Monica being loud. I didn't know where the hell she was. So yeah. After that I was bored. Finally, Monica and my mom came back, and we watched TV together. We were watching some stupid movie with Matthew Perry and some hispanic woman that he got pregnant and had to marry. When that ended, there wasn't really much else to watch, so we went to bed. It was nearly midnight, I think. We woke up at 4:12 the next morning. We all got ready, then left at aroun 4:45, when everyone else was ready. It took about an hour and a half or so to drive to the Grand Canyon, where we were going to climb down to the place we were going to stay. We started down the trail at about 6:45. It took a while to get to the village. Approximately 4 hours and 20 minutes. Then we had to search for the lodge. It took a while. We went all over the whole village. We finally found it. When we went in, we found out that our rooms weren't ready, and wouldn't be until 3:00. It was a little after 11:00. So we sat on the chairs for a while. Somehow, we got one room early, so that we could put our stuff in it and rest. So we did. Me and my mom lay down on the bed. We both fell asleep, though I was only asleep for about 45 minutes. I woke up to people screaming for no reason at all. I'm not too perky and happy when I'm awake, so I snapped at them. They didn't hear, and my mom told me to be quiet. A few minutes later, the boys who had been screaming started telling each otehr, "If yuou do this, then you're gay!" The thing they did was different each time. It was thoroughly stupid. Finally, I said, "If you don't shut up, I'm going to hurt you all." They shut up, thankfully. A little while later, everyone had a room. At 3:00, we were going to walk to the waterfall. It was a long walk, after an eight mile hike. A mile and a half more, each way. But the waterfall was nice, and I got to swim a bit. The waterfalls alone almost made the trip down the canyon worth it. Almost. But then there were things that made it worse. When the sun started to go below the rim where we were, we all left. The walk back was torturesome, but I got through it. I ate dinner when I got back. Well, after I woke my mom and Monica up. There was nothnig to do in the lodge but sleep. After dinner, that's what I did. I fell asleep before it was properly dark, around 7:00. Then I woke up at about 7:00 the next morning. That day, we went to the second waterfall down the path. It was 2 miles away. It was a pretty waterfall, though I preferred the first one. There were currents in the second waterfall. After a while, we got bored and walked to the third waterfall, the last we would go to. Me, Monica, and Sarah all refused to climb down the rocks to the waterfall. It was scary, and there were all these chains, and I really didn't want to go. So I didn't. We walked back to the second waterfall, where Monica and Sarah jumped in the water. After that, we went back to the lodge. Well, first we went to the store. Sarah wanted to get a drink and a snack. On the way from the store to the lodge, we ran into my mom. At the lodge we did nothing whatsoever. Like I said, there wasn't anything much to do. When Jennifer and Ashley got back, we all went to sit outside. This little native girl who lived at the lodge came over to us. She was annoying. Loud and obnoxious, she asked who I was. Then she challenged us to guess what she was drinking. We didn't guess. Oh well. She went somewhere, and Monica and Jennifer ran away. Gabby came back, and I was forced to tell her they were playing hide-and-seek. So then I had to count while Gabby and Ashley went to hide. I found them, easily, and had to chase Gabby around the little yard thing. Then we found Monica and Jennifer, lying on the benches of a table on a balcony thing. Later, we went to eat dinner. We ate outside, because it was cooling down. Soon after we'd finished, Gabby came out again. My mom gave her Monica's remaining spaghetti, so we wouldn't have to throw it away. As Gabby ate, me, Monica, Jennifer, and Ashley were running around trying to stay away from her. Monica ran on the top floor, in the little breezeway thing. Gabby saw, and yelled, "Hey! I see you!" In response, Monica called back, "Prove it!" I was laughing about that for quite a while. A couple minutes later, Monica came up with an oh-so-wonderful idea to get Gabby off out backs. She came up with the idea to tell Gabby we were actuallt boys. That went over so well. Gabby got mad, and pinched Ashley and ounched Monica in the stomach. We all scattered. Eventually, we ended up at the table where Monica and Jennifer had hidden at before. Almost everyone was lying under the table. I sat on the bench, near the staricase. Gabby climbed up the stairs, yelling at us. When she reached me, she grabbed my head, put her mouth less than an inch away from my ear, and shrieked. And took a deep breath and shrieked again. I couldn't hear anything out of that ear for a good five seconds. Then she crawled under the table and tried to strangle Monica. She went down the stairs after that, flipping her middle finger at us and sticking her tongue out. We all sat down at the table, which was partly occupied by people monca and everyone else but Ashley and I had met the night before. We had both just knocked out early, tired from the hike. Monica kept pestering me to go to bed. I was talking with two of the people, Eric and Erin, who were from North Carolina, and tried to ignore her. Finally, everyone but me, Ashley, Eric, and Erin left the table. It got quieter around us after that. We talked for at least an hour, the four of us. At one point, Jonathan tried to climb up the wall. And he thought he was awfully quiet, too. So not. Later Monica told me that they thought we would try to scare them back. We just thought they were being stupid and trying to climb up the wall, and not that they were trying to scare us. We continued to talk for a bit, then Eric and Erin, who had to get up early the next morning to hike out of the canyon, had to go to bed. Sonce I had nothnig better to do, I went to bed, too. The next day, I woke up a bit later. That day, we were going to go to the second waterfall, then the first. I didn't much like the second waterfall. I was a bit annoyed for the whole hike, then I got to the waterfall and went in. I hated the current in that waterfall, so I just sat around, half in the water and half out, for most of the time. I also wasn't feeling so well. Then we walked the half mile back to get to the other waterfall, my favorite one. I was thinking about whether I wanted to get into the water or not. Finally, I did. Me and four of the boys from our group were catcing tadpoles. Eventually, I got bored with that and tried to catch fish instead. They're evil little buggers, those fish. I swear, they were taunting me. I never was able to catch one, though I tried until we left. When we got back to the lodge, I changed and showered. I was bored that night, and fell asleep early again. We had to wake up at 4:00 the next morning, to hike up. We left a little after 4:30. Oddly enough, it took less time to go up than it did to go down, only 3 and a half hours. Then we had to wait for everyone else to catch up. We fed the dogs that were hanging around the parking lot for a while, then everyone finally got there and we left. We went to Laughlin, which is basically a Las Vegas for old people. Monica got kazoos and whistling lips from the arcade. We went back to the arcade the next morning, and won 910 tickets. After we'd cashed in the tickets, we both had to rush up to the room to grab our stuff to leave. We went to a Barstow outlet mall on the way back home. Everyone split up and did different things. We went home after that, and that was it. That was long, yes? It took me a long time to write, and there are still things left out. Like the fact that I got a sunburn. And that the day before we had to go up the canyon, my period started. Yes, I don't want to remember those things much later. So I left them out.

It sounds like an interesting trip! I love waterfalls. And hiking isn't that bad. I mean, my mom drags me to the beach every weekend, and makes me walk nearly one mile. So I'm used to it. sweatdrop

When you have to walk 40 miles in about three days, yeah, hiking's bad. I could go to the beach. But I hate the beach where I live. It's all dirty and loud and crowded. Besides that, I hate the smell of the ocean. Well, this ocean at least. I loved the beach when we went to Hawaii when I was like nine. But this trip, me and my sister were starting to get sick of my mom after about three days. And we didn't even see her all that much, because we were running around doing other things. Imagine what it'll be like when we have to be with her non-stop for a month, with no one else to distract any of us. Whoo boy, I'm going to die.

The beaches of my city are great... at least for the millions of tourists. I only like warm and calm water. The sea here is kinda cold and has lots of waves. So yeah, I hate it when my mother drags me to the beach.

Yep, that's the type of thing I like. The water here is cold, polluted, and has rather strong waves. And in some places there's a hell of a lot of rocks. Which, with all the waves, isn't very fun. That's why I liked Hawaii. Small, soft waves, more like a lake than the beach, and the sand was soft, and the water was warm. Such a pity I'll probably never go there again.
