GuitarSavior ari7 I play trombone. Does anyone have tips for playing high Bb? (talkin' about the one that's four lines above the staff gonk ) I can play it, but it's not that pretty sweatdrop Its fifth position ok rolleyes What? I'm not talking about positions... unless playing it in 5th is easier than 1st or 3rd. I still prefer 1st.

If marching instruments count too.... I play 5 different instruments. Or, know how to play five different instruments. I can play baritone, euphonium, trombone, seusaphone and miraphone. I don't know if I can play bass trombone, I'd have to try. So yeah.... I'm like the ultimate low brass chick.
Erm, for the person with the high note problems, just practice your high notes(as in, practice your A, your Bb, and the C above it if you can). They do improve with practice, because your lip muscles get used to that note. Once you can play it with some ease, go find a tuner and you're golden. This comes from someone who can play up to the Super F in Bone Tell (you know the one.)

i was born cleft-lip and palate, so i should have the most trouble getting notes, right?? wrong!!! i can hit an F and higher... above the staff, true i have been playing for about 4 years but i play the bass trombone, it's also about the same as a regular one but just has a better lower range. it's the coolest of the trombones XD just to let whomever it was know. GO TROMBONES!!!

i kno how to play tuba, wanna a know how to play valve trombone and started on trumpet!! yes i kno trumpet is not a low brass instrument, but other than that...LOW BRASS ROX!!

TUBA PLAYER!
I play tuba, sousaphone, baritone, euphonium, trombone, valve trombone, and bass trombone. That's seven low brass instruments! I even play trumpet.

I just play Tuba for Concert & marching season...=P
Sometimes i have to take Trombone notes and convert them to Tuba ones though...=/
My mouth piece is too big for my mouth....xD
