Bakura shot Marik a dirty look, stomping on his foot. "Don't make things worse than they are, Faerie."
He glanced at Jou, unimpressed. "If you're so interested, I remember it."
"So." He looked at Otogi, then back at the blonde warrior. "Do either of you have those dreams, or visions, or something... of a different world. With say... the people standing here. Or huge buildings made of steel and brick, or people in blue and pink. Or of these gold things called the Senen Items? By any chance."

Yugi sighed as he watched everything, not having much to say. He still wasn't sure if he believed what Bakura was saying or not, in fact he was starting to wondering if the fallen has finally just cracked. But there was that odd vision he had eariler...
"This is all making my head hurt." Yugi mumbled he sat down on the bed, rubbing his head.

Otogi's eyes went wide - the visions were almost exact. "You're serious. Are you? You'd better be." he said, to make sure. "And what if I have? What the hell would it mean?

Still listening to the conversation Ryou made his way over to the bed to sit next to Yugi. He offered the demon a bright grin as he made himself comfortable before returning his attention to his brother.

|| oops. That's *Sennen. X_x; ||
"It means this entire world we're in right now is not real," he answered heavily. "Unfortunately the one we live in is worse." He felt his stomach twist as he said it, and he wanted to throw himself into Marik's arms.
But he didn't.
"And the makers of the game are working on a portal somewhere in the game to transport our minds into our original bodies. We have to stay together, and they'll contact me/us with the spot as soon as they can."

Yugi looked up once more at Bakura. "Wait, now saying what you're telling us is true and our "real" lives are worse than what we have here, than why would we want to go back to them?" He shook his head as he remember what he felt when he had that "vision", the fear and helplessness...things no demon liked to feel. "I don't know about anyone else here, but I know I didn't like whatever it was and if I had to chose I rather not feel it again."

"... I gotta agree with you," Jou said quietly, solemnly. He looked over at Yuugi and nodded. "If that's what's real, then I don't want to go back. Not after what I've seen in these... vision things. Besides, who says we can take your word for it at all, Bakura? Sorry Ryou, but even if he is your brother, he and his friend there were having a great time trying to kill us earlier." The warrior then looked straight at Bakura again, his body tense. "No, I don't think I buy this at all."

Otogi stood there silently, head down to the floor. It might have sounded crazy to the lot of them, but to him it made perfect sense - why else did he have little to no recollection of his past life? Why else would he be plagued by such troublesome things? Mages were not so blind and disbelieving as most of the general populace. Still...to trust either Bakura or Marik could well be suicidal.

Bakura was unhappy. They were just making everything harder on themselves, and on him. Did they think he wanted his old life back? Beating and torturing his own brother? Marik trying to kill him?
Marik.... who he never wanted to live without again, and- damn it!
"Because your real bodies will deteriorate without food or water, so you'll die within a few weeks. Do you remember having visions up until 4 days ago? No. Because that's when we first entered this world. The rest is a made up- programmed- life.

Marik stood by long enough watching the warior not believing and the mage remaining silent. He stepped forward, clamping a hand roughly around the back of the fallen's neck, both to annoy him and calm him, and squeezed it breifly. "Okay, so perhaps he's out of his mind- and maybe you can't really trust us. But that was then, and this is now. What if he is right- what if our 'real' bodies will die, we'll be dead too. So what's the harm; we'll walk around for what- another day- and find out what we need to do. If he's wrong, well, it's a ******** waste of a day of our lives, but if he's right..." he paused for a moment, trying to truly feel what he was merely saying. "Then who says we can't have there what we have here?" Sure he was lieing- he was a good liar, and hopefully they bought him, just so they could get over with humoring Bakura and the two of them could go back to his forest and stop worring about different realities.

Bakura glared at him half-heartedly, swatting his hand away.
"I am not crazy."

Jou listened to Marik's arguement on the subject silently, a small frown still on his face. Why couldn't he shake the feeling that Bakura wasn't lieing? That he'd seen all these people, knew them before? And how else was there to explain the visions, and their all having them? The blond put a hand up to his forehead and sighed. It was all too much. Couldn't be true. But then again, if it wasn't true, then what was? Did he really want to die believing in something what wasn't real?
He looked over at Otogi, studying him, looking him over. How did the mage feel about all of this? He silently reached over and put a hand down on Otogi's shoulder before looking back over at Bakura and Marik. "... Is one day all it'll take to convince us?"

Malik, who'd been quiet throughout most of the conversation looked around at everyone, taking in expressions, posture and just general atmosphere. "What have we really got to lose? I agree with my brother, and believe me that doesn't happen often. One day is nothing, what would you have done with yourselves in that day anyway?" He looked at each of them pointedly. "I don't think it would be anything very interesting. Think of this as an adventure! One that has two possible endings. By the end of ythe day we'll figure out which is right and which is wrong. How could it hurt?"

"Well the part where we might get eaten alive brutally by a forest might be a little painful." Otogi quipped, then smirked over at Jounouchi. "Well well well blondie, the way you've go your hand, folks are going to start thinking you're my lovebird." he teased, sweating through his pores. "At any rate, I'm going. I DON'T trust him...but I'm going." His eyes held an eerie glow and his gaze was slightly unfocussed.

"W-what!?" Jou jumped, though his hand didn't move from its chosen spot. He glared at the mage, face a little flushed. "What... what folks think is their business..." And besides. His hand was comfortable there, thank you very much.
"In any case..." he continued looking at Otogi, though he let off on the glare. The mage looked a little... strained. Lack of sleep maybe? "... I can't let you go off with some potential murderers by yourself. You'd be dead in a day if they decided to take care of you... it's for your own good that I go." He nodded, looking back at the rest of them. "So yeah... I guess I'm in on it too."
