The fact Sif still had much more energy to continue on after Jet's shots was all the evidence the Jin needed. It seemed that each time Jet encountered someone or something that wasn't from this planet their power levels and strength were always powerful. And each time Jet fought most of them he was only leaving out alive barely. But Sif was from a far higher degree of power; a higher echelon that Jet needed to reach.

"Nice Observation." Jet snapped back sarcastically. Sif had enough durability to withstand one of Jet's Kazataijutsu strikes, so she had more then enough strength to handle walls of stone. So when the walls were destroyed, Jet didn't appear so surprised. He was setting up for Plan B, which had worked not as well but at least he got a hit on her. He looked up, already planning his next move as he saw bits of her armor being eaten up like they were chips; burn marks running alongside her arms and rack region.

The marks showed that she could be defeated; the Jin would be able to take her down. All he needed was to make his strikes count and time to break down her defenses. When the Jin saw Sif's arms emit that white glow once more, he only put two and two together to come up with the conclusion she was entering divebomb mode. Was she getting sloppy? Unless she was a homing missile she was going to whiff hard against Jet. "Talk about being straightforward.."

Kazama would have played the part of the dummy until nearly the last few seconds of Sif's attack, where he would initiate his Asura Flicker(Asura Flicker is Jet’s amplified version of the body flicker. Since training with Marasol he had wanted to learn it since he saw her perform it, but she wouldn’t teach it to him because she wanted him to get the fighting aspect of taijutsu down before zipping around. She didn’t want Jet to use this as a crutch, a necessity for his taijutsu. And after his fight with Momo in the chuunin exams he really wanted to add it to his arsenal. On his way to the World Hidden in Fantasy he had acquired the body flicker scroll in Hidden Leaf. But after learning the original version, Jet wanted to see if he could use the Katon element with the technique, the way he did with Tagas. The Asura flicker was his answer, which operates in the same fashion as Body Flicker but with a few upgrades. One of them is that it can leave an image of Jet responding to the appropriate attack if timed correctly. The next upgrade is that when Jet vanishes, he can trigger an explosion behind him by superheating his body temperature and igniting it, leaving an x amount height and diameter bigger than his body at the cost of the chakra channeled into the attack(100 chakra per foot/ diameter)The last upgrade is that it allows Jet to travel to any heat source from any place he has learned techniques from,
Activation Cost: Cost of Body Flicker. Explosion is 100 chakra per foot/diameter)
appearing 20 feet in the air from her diagonally. From there he would have used another variation of his Kazataijutsu technique, when suddenly, he was blown away like a leaf during a windy night. Kazama had no idea what was going on; his body was performing all sorts of flips and twists that would make a gymnast drop their jaw in awe.

His body was feeling countless stings as if he jumped into a swimming pool full of angry hornets. Some of the stings were from the small pieces from the debri, and others were from much bigger pieces. Small gushes of blood were shooting off in different directions each time he felt a sting. What the hell did that woman just do right now!? What kind of technique was this!? Pieces of his Avian Assault armor were being torn off like wet paper as his body was continuing to be a human rotating wheel.

*THUD!*

His body let out a painful groan as soon as it crashed back into the dipped earth. Looking towards the heavens, it took some time for him to realize that he was looking into the sky with his own eyes. He had enough strength at the moment to lift his head to try and locate Sif, unaware of what had just happened. His goggles from his Avian suit were crushed somewhere on the battlefield. The gauntlets that he possessed had cracks forming all around the piece, his leather strap and golden device were damaged as well He had multiple cuts on his face, and all over his body that made it seem like he had been whipped to death all over. His suit and physiology saved him from a much worse fate; the rise and descent of his chest would let Sif know this. Now all Jet had to do was just get up...if he could.

"s**t....gotta think of something...Come on Jet, get up...Get.UP."

Description: "Can you feel it Jet? Do you feel the earth around you? The vibrations when the rain crashes to the earth? The steps of the ants and insects below?”-Blink

”This is just a taste of what one can see on the other side of vision. Once you master feel do you finally begin to see more of the world.”-Blink

Asura Sense is unlocked within Jet Kazama months after he becomes blind from the zombie outbreak in Hidden Void. Since then Blink has taught him how to “see” without the use of his eyes when they would become operational again, just like she can. She was surprised at the amount of time it took Jet to learn it. While it took years for Blink to learn it, It took months for Jet to master it. Through this he has developed small feats such as an intuition for danger. But the major additions to his eyes are a rather unique feature that allows him to switch from being able to have sight, to becoming blind. Furthermore, Blink has taught him to also see by being able to feel the vibrations in the earth, as well at ‘natural’ heat signatures of targets in a 360 degree radius without the use of sight. By natural, Jet is able to still see that heat signature even if it shows signs of dropping.

Description:
“Having genes of Jin turns the skeletal system into a fortress. Only a few have gone further. With jet his body should have developed it earlier but it appears he’s just a late bloomer. I felt a sting in my shin during training. I never feel pain delivering it to him.”-Marasol

Everyone who is born as a jin is introduced to martial arts. As soon as Jet was able to walk and talk at 3 he was trained in martial arts from his parents (as mentioned in bio). With constant conditioning to the body externally and internally through such methods as punching walls, kicking trees, being hit with boards, etc the body becomes a human weapon at a young age. The jin are born with a much more durable skeleton and better physical performance than the average being. The way this happens is that the bones become continuously calcified with the calcium in the body as they age. Only a small percentage of bodies undergo changes in the skin, where the dermal layers become thick along muscular system, where the muscles and organs develop thicker layers of smooth muscle as well. At the same time those who show all 3 of these usually become Asura. At 13 Jet’s body should have been finished developing these traits. However Jet’s body had just recently begun to show traits of this hereditary feature, that falls in the category of the small percentage who’s integumentary system(hair, skin, nails), skeletal, and muscular system are amplified. At the present chuunin level, these body systems become as hard as iron, while at jounin it becomes steel, then mythril at 100k. At the kage level only unique weapons can seriously harm Jet Kazama. It should be noted that with such a feature, even Jin feel pain. Drawbacks to this hereditary feature is that it that some ninjutsu attacks can still deal their normal damage and even bypass this feature such as Raiton attacks, and that he can still draw blood and feel pain as well if hit hard enough.

Lightning Talon Assault Armor (LTAA): Mk I

When Jet got initiated into the League of owls, he started off with the standard Lightning Talon owl suit, which only had the upgrades that originally come with the Lightning Talon. The suit was upgradeable but the designer would not do it for Jet so early into the clique until he earned himself a upgrade. It wasn’t too long before Jet had begun to prove his worth and the designer gave his suit an upgrade. But just like her respect, the quality of the upgrades had to be earned as well. The Lightning Talon Assault Armor, or LTAA is of the low tier upgraded suits, coming in a gloss black finish, with protection against heat(similar to how Jet’s Noura works). There is also a steel durable belt with 8 kunai running diagonally across the owl suit along with an owl medal, that when pressed allows him to keep in contact with his owls. Next it comes with retractable 12 inch steel claws that come out from underneath the forearm guards (as seen in pic) which underneath comes with wrist cartridges that can launch basic shinobi weaponry such as kunai or smoke bombs and such in the form of needles. After that is a voice alteration system which allows jet to mimic any voice he hears to save and use as his own with a click of the medal for his missions to keep his identity hidden. Lastly is the night vision goggles which are strapped to the leather identical to the one mentioned before. The designer even took the liberty to tweak them to where Jet kazama can still use his optic blats through them.

Technique Name: Asura Override
Activation Cost: Passive
Description:
"But you're not like any Katon user I've seen. Your power in Katon grows the more he uses it. You're an instrument for destruction Jet! No matter how you try to justify it!"-Tagas

Jet Kazama has become well aware that the Katon element is associated with power, destruction, chaos, etc. In his quest to become stronger to defeat Tagas he had discovered a difference in the elements that he controls. He noticed in his training regimens, along with missions as an owl that the more that he uses the Katon element, the stronger his attack associated with Katon becoms. Kazama also noticed that if he were to switch up different elements after using Katon for so long, then they revert back to their original power base. Unbeknownst to him, his steps into the path of Asura have granted him this ability called Asura Override. Asura Override is a multiplier for power and force behind Jet Kazama's Katon attacks, so long as he always uses an attack that has the name "Asura" in it, or Katon attack in his attack slots. As a Chuunin, the multiplier starts at x1, followed by increments of x0.5. When Kazama becomes a jounin the multiplier starts at x1.5, followed by increments of x0.5. And when he reaches the 200k mark, the multiplier starts at x2, followed by increments of 0.5. When Kazama doesn't do this or is in a position where he can not, the power and force goes back to its base. From there he would have to repeat the process to get the multiplier started again.

Sif stood up from her wreckage. She didn't say anything. Armor being blown in different spots. Cuts and gashes throughout her body. However she was glowing. Literally glowing with power. She snarled and each step she took caused the world to sink around her. She was in rare form. She located his body and her smile said it all. She clinched her fist together.

"...You were worthy."

She brought her hands together and now she was showing her true strength. There was no more time for play. He was good. He deserved her full amount of power. She literally couldn't help but smile at his physical strength. He would have been worthy to be a god in his own right.

She saw his bruised and battered body. She took pride in this. He got up. She only smiled at that. He was a warrior through and through. But so was she. She hit her hand on the ground again causing the large earth fist to come from the ground trying to launch him upwards. She would then clap her hands again. She was a proper warrior. The clap of her hands this time would create an even larger sonic boom that would destroy the new mountain range that she had developed.

"...Come on... I am still going strong.."

She said with a smile.

Pre-Exams

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.He could hear her footsteps, sense her footsteps move across this corrupted earth. Jet saw what looked like a unknown being of another existence from the glowing of Sif's body. A few Hand signals were being initiated at this time. She showed no signs of stopping at all; if anything, this....the result of the battlefield now was just a taste of Sif's power. They were near the damn epicenter of this catastrophe. Jet had no idea what the fate was of his owl member, of Wyn, but survival and to conquer was on his mind. She spoke on how he was worthy, emphasis on the word "was". It was as if Kazama was down and out for the count. Surely she was talking s**t, otherwise she didn't know her target at all.

As of a matter of fact, when Jet would get back on two's he would become a different person. Part of him knew that if he had went with the only weapon he had on his side, then he would lose if it had gone any further. But the only weapon he had, that he knew would help him in this moment had helped him against Omega Black, and the Zombie outbreak. Long story short, Jet had to pull out all stops, regardless of the consequences. And unbeknownst to him, he would emerge an even tougher, much tougher warrior when this would be all over.

It took him a while before Jet was able to at least get back on his feet; standing in a position where his left hand was still in a boxing stance, while his right arm appeared limp Multiple pieces of his owl clothing was on the ground, in addition to his gear. So much for his owl gear techniques and even if they did work, he was going to need more than that to take down this god. The first thing he needed to do was rely on his speed to get out the way. His Asura Flicker worked in the same fashion like the Flicker from Hidden Leaf, but it also had other properties that placed that technique in its own category.

He didn't necessarily need the Asura Sense. When he saw that she was about to smash the ground once again, The Asura Flicker(Asura Flicker is Jet’s amplified version of the body flicker. Since training with Marasol he had wanted to learn it since he saw her perform it, but she wouldn’t teach it to him because she wanted him to get the fighting aspect of taijutsu down before zipping around. was initiated once again. Jet's body was shot towards the sky like the metal ball when the mallet was hit on the large bell; one of those carnival games. When Jet's body reached the zenith of air-time, Sif's sonic boom would have caused Jet to get pushed back violently once more like he was debri getting blown away with a leaf blower. Surely after this attack Jet would have been moving closer to the peril zone.

That was, if Jet's body was actually caught in the the Sonic Boom.

When he used his Asura Flicker, he used the afterimage ability of the Asura Flicker to respond appropriately to Sif's earth attack. Once then, he got a small frame of time he needed, that he didn't bother using the afterimage to respond to the Sonic Boom. All Sif would see if the dissemination of what appeared to be jet's body. It would be normal to wonder what happen, but if Sif didn't realize that Jet had somehow avoided both attacks, then surely she would be able to sense him seconds later...

Right, behind her, back to back literally. A laughter, or rather yet a cackle of the beginning of insanity emitted from Kazama. One hand was in a hand signal pose(Innerfire ((1000 Skill Points)) - This jutsu makes the user faster, stronger and grants them some resistance from fire itself) while the other hand in a reverse blade motion possessed the Ballistic(The keychain drastically boosts up the stats of strength and speed, this chains also induces insanity. Using the element of fire, it releases flames when it hits a solid surface. The wielder becomes stronger, but at the cost of sanity. Requirements: Must be rank Chuunin, Element must be fire) which had given him more the strength he needed to stand up, and the speed to continue this fight. Stacked on top of that was his Innerfire technique, which would further increase his performance. Round 2 had officially begun...

" Hehheh....How about you prove it to me then Sif?" Jet said in a low growl

She was sure that he was dead. She would have put money on it that, but he was still alive. Something about that made her skin crawl. something about that made her kin start to shiver. Even she sighed a bit as she saw his blade appear in his hand. Some days she wished that these humans would just go down. They were a constant blight and a reminder of gofs failures. She only looked. Unbelievable she wasn't even holding back..

"You.. are still alive?"

Her blade startedt o grow around her hand. A large broadsword started to glow in her hand. While her fibody was now illuminated with the white light still. She took one step back. She couldn't understand. Nothing had ever made her fight this hard. Nothing or nobody. However, this time would be a bit different. Her body never created the sword for her. It was almost like her mind was scared of what could happen.

"..good. You are literally worth my time now.."

Sif said. She still didn't have worry in her voice. She still showed off her bravada. Her knuckles crack and now was she ready for round two. She had bested him for the first time around, and maybe she could do it again. She shrugged off that first little tenseness. She was getting almost tired. Almost being the key word.. Se cracked her knuckles and swung the sword. The sword started to hum. The hum would be heard each time she swung the sword. Her unique energy placed through the blade try and disorient him.

"Well then.. Let's go for broke.."

She pulled her fist back and let the sword be the guide. She was going to cut him eighteen ways from sunday. He was a true warrior.. and she would give him a warriors death.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Was there a bit of change in Sif's tone? Or her demeanor when she had questioned Jet's existence after those last attacks? "What's the matter Sif, not winning as easily as you thought?" he asked in a concerned mother's tone. "Or are you realizing that I'm not as easy to kill as you thought?" Sif would not admit it but Jet had already planeted a seed in her psyche. The seed that sparked the idea that maybe Sif had bitten off more than she could chew.

At first it appeared that Jet was the one that couldn't swallow his meal. Was it going to be Sif's turn to have taken a chunk off more than what she could consume? With Jet's transition to the Ballistic, Sif decided to play his game and switch out to a weapon of her own. After her step back she would see that Jet was facing her now, but in the same position as before. Something that Sif would also notice was the glowing of Jet's body as well a mix between the black from the shredded owl suit, and a ruby red color. Images of jutsu techniques that he had never seen before began to rush through his mind. Powerful techniques of Katon and Doton origin. What sort of moves were these and what was this new appearance? The innerfire jutsu wasn't designed to put off such an aura like Kazama's. Was there something else behind it? Or was something awakening in the boy?

Her threats or s**t talking didn't affect Kazama too much. He had just pulled the Ballistic and with his innerfire, the bread and butter he used to take down Omega Black with Kami he was...feeling himself a little bit. "Heh.." the boy then let out a couple of silent laughs before he got back to business. "Too bad your time's just run out..." With a simple formation of his free hand into a fist, knuckles could be heard cracking, along with a tilt of his neck left and right. He was ready for Round 2, and this time, things were going to be more chaotic than before. If Sif thought that a rudimentary and non-exclusive technique such as the magma rising technique was a nuisance, well....she had not really met someone along the path of Asura. It was going to be her lucky day, with Jet keeping his response to her going all out.

"Ladies first..."

It had appeared that Jet was taking the bait with the light from Sif's weapon. The slight twitch in his eyes to avoid it was as low key as it get. But with the Ballistic in Jet's left hand in a reverse grip, he responded with such a fast 360 horizontal slash, by the time the rotation was complete, Ballistic had clashed with Sif's sword. Jet had seemed to just ride out the light, but with Ballistic's ability to release flames when it hits solid material, Sif would quickly become disoriented with black flames coming in a cone fasion from the entire blade; hitting towards nearly her entire upper front section at blank range. Sight wise this would most likely give jet that small window he needed to quickly reverse the blade grip into a regular and initiate an left(from Sif's point of view) diagonally upward Matoi( – A sword skill that is able to cut through anything by mere strength regardless of how blunt the weapon is. The cut is so clean it is thought that only diamonds can make a cut as clean as this technique. 900 Skill Points). With this technique he learned from Kyrie in Tokyo, Sif's blade would be sliced into 2 with any luck.

If that was a no-go, then Jet would have pushed off with his right leg, dashing and slashing upward towards Sif's section where the shoulder and pectoral region connected, activating the Wild Kamatachi ( User increases the power in both of their arms before striking at the opponent, creating what would look like a web of vacuum like beams created from the blade to charge the opponent. They are rather hard to dodge but still able to be avoided by those whom already knows this technique. 1000 skill points (Must know Kamatachi)) towards her sword shoulder vertically. With the power and speed he used to push off, he would have stopped at the 15 feet mark; holding his stance, with his blade pointing towards the heavens.

Sif's body proved that it could take a beating, but hopefully with this technique that he learned from Kyrie he could take off her sword arm. If not, then surely he could do damage to where that arm would be almost useless since the shoulder muscles was needed to practically raise the arm. At this time Jet's back would have been back towards Sif, exposing his entire dorsal(or back) zone. Depending on Sif's answers to Jet's techniques, he would have looked back towards her, or perhaps in front of her with a devilish grin as he motioned 2 of his right fingers in an upward motion by his side for theatrics. In case she tried to move in close or was already close, Jet's last move was the Asura Stigma( Jet Kazama takes what he can accomplish with the ability to summon magma and takes it to the next level with Asura Stigma. The Asura Stigma allows Jet Kazama to instantly summon up to 3 pillars of either magma, fire, ambient energy as tall as a street light post, or meteors the size of a big rig either around, above or below himself or his targets. As Jet's power grows so does the number of pillars(1 pillar/ 1 meteor every 10k chakra). They get summoned in a portal fashion, quickly activated in one second. But what separates this technique from his basic magma summoning ability from Hidden Volcano is the gravity pull that comes with the different types of pillars besides the meteors. The pull can draw people and objects of Jet's choosing towards the pillars themselves at a moderate speed(power walking for people or very heavy objects, otherwise, objects get pulled in quick. As a chuunin he has only developed the pull up to half his bodyweight. When Jet hits Jounin the pillars will be able to pull up to his full weight; double at 100k and 4x at kage levels. Lastly, his summoning ability with Asura Stigma has resulted in other Katon/Doton summoning techniques as Asura Apocalypse become a one time activation cost wise if Jet chooses to. Meaning when this attack is activated at a cost of 2000 chakra points, he can pay the cost of Asura Apocalypse(2000 points) as well to allow Kazama to use Asura Apocalypse without paying for the cost when he wishes to use it.)

In a portal fashion, surrounding Sif in a diamond formation four pillars of magma would have erupted around her, designed to leave her with no place to go but to hell. With the Asura override ability growing, this attack was almost 4 times as strong as the original version. If she escaped, the fun can continue but whether or not she did Sif would quickly realize a dark hole type pull towards her body, begging her to be in the center of it all. A pull of 97.5 pounds to be exact. So in case she tried to quickly dodge, she would have trouble, but the god had surprised Jet so much. Maybe she'll get out in one piece...or a charbroiled piece.

Technique Name: Asura Sense
Description: "Can you feel it Jet? Do you feel the earth around you? The vibrations when the rain crashes to the earth? The steps of the ants and insects below?”-Blink
“It’s…Hard to feel but….I can feel a little just barely. I can feel the heat as well”-Jet

Technique Name: Asura Dotonjutsu

Technique Name: Lightning Talon Assault Armor
Description:"It even has that hand me down smell i know you love so much."-Tess

Multiplier: x3.5

Teufel had willed her armor back, to hide its presence. There was no point in trying a secret weapon if it wasn't a secret. She could see where Hidden Arts was supposed to be, though there was an enormous boulder blocking the path. as well, there were a pair of humans there, likely guards. As far as she knew, there were no current issues that involved Hidden arts, nothing that would try to stop her from entering. And once she did, she would dutifully learn everything she could. She would use that as an excuse to practice the techniques she had already learned, as well. It seemed that her newly acquired memories included a Taijutsu style, one that seemed quite powerful. If she could fully master it's intricacies, then she would be even more powerful than she already was.

But first she had to get into the village. She had dismissed Morgan along the way, and retracted her own demonic features. Now she looked much like any other young girl, one that now had a green tattoo on the palm of one hand. It was a sign that she was the current owner of the Omega Green, and one she couldn't hide. She had yet to discover what might happen if her hand were to shift into something more monstrous, would the tattoo shift with it? She'd have to keep that thought in mind. But for the moment, it was a largle academic question. She should have no reason to demon out while she was here. This was to be a session of training all about learning and mastering the Taijutsu style she had learned. She likely wouldn't even need her scythe. Not that she'd leave it behind any time that she left her home ever again, of course...

She got closer, and eventually the two guards noticed her approach. They talked to each other for a moment, and even though she was pretty far away from them, her own senses were sharp enough to pick up the gist of what they were saying.

"D'you see that? Some runny-nosed kid is coming! That's just insulting! People don't think the trial is that weak, do they?"

"Nah, I'm sure she's just lost or something. Nobody'd let their kid wander around on their own, not at times like these..."

They stopped talking before she reached them. She carefully schooled her expression to hide her annoyance at their words, no need to let them know she possessed any special skills yet. So instead she walked up to them, and forced herself to smile. "Is this the way to Hidden Arts?"

The two guards shared a glance, before one sighed and shook his head. "Well yes it is, little one, but you won't be able to get in. The only way anyone can enter Hidden Arts is if they prove themselves worthy. Prove it by breaking that boulder. Only someone who is truly in tune with their body and the world has a chance of doing that." This last was said in a singsong voice, as if the man had memorized it by rote, or had simply had to repeat it so often that it had lost it's true meaning. He likely had to tell every stranger who came.

Teufel cast a critical eye over the boulder. It was immense, far, far bigger than she was. It looked far too big to even chip, let alone break. Especially for a human. But she was no human, and she was much stronger than she looked. But she didn't want to be too blatant about it, at least not until the moment of truth. "I think I'll try anyways."

"Haha, sure, kid, why not. Just don't come crying to us if you hurt your hand!" The two guards shared a laugh at the idea, but nonetheless they stepped back so that she could give it a shot.

Teufel felt confident she would succeed, but even so, this would be a challenge. All the more because she didn't want to show any of her more specialized tricks. Instead she'd have to be more subtle. With that in mind, she jogged back a few meters before turning and facing the boulder once more. She broke into a run, charging headlong at the rock. Just when she would have hit it, she skidded to a stop and channeled all of her momentum into her open hand. It slapped against the rock in a simple gesture. Simple, unless you were sensitive to the flow of chakra and other forces. She had channeled her Fel Chakra through the tattoo on her palm, and amplified it. This combined with the pheromones that caused aging to create an invisible shockwave of erosion. With a deep, bass groan of shifting stone, fissures began to spread over the boulder's surface, before they deepened into cracks that spider webbed its entire surface. Gravel and dust fell in a steady stream, followed by larger pieces of the boulder.

She dusted off her hands before turning back to face the two guards, who were now slack-jawed and staring at her like she was some kind of monster. One of them even made a sign tow ard off evil. She just flashed them her best innocent grin, which was ruined somewhat by the continued destruction occurring behind her. "So, can I enter now?"

The two guards were confronted with a dilemma. She was obviously strong enough to pass the trial. But there was something that wasn't right about her, it would be too dangerous to just let someone like her into the village. There were civilians inside, ones who weren't yet strong enough to defend themselves. They conferred for a moment, before one pulled out a small object. They pulled the pin and hurled it into the air, before it exploded in a burst of colored smoke. Once the smoke signal had been sent, the two kept their eyes firmly fixed on Teufel, ready for any sign of treachery.

To the village's credit, it's rapid response team did arrive quickly. It took only an instant before a quartet of shadows appeared on the ground, heralding the arrival of a group of village guards, who had jumped from the wall's uppermost level. Each of them looked capable and accomplished in their own right, and Teufel suspected that any one of them could be a worthy foe or thrall. But business first, pleasure later. Instead she waited for them to speak.

One of the four, likely the leader owing to the slightly more extravagant outfit, turned to face one of the guards. "What's the meaning of this, a red signal means an enemy sighting. The only one here is this little girl. Explain yourself."

"Well, Captain..." The guard stammered, cowed by their personality. After a moment, they finally managed to regain their composure, at least enough to answer. "She's the potential enemy, sir. Look what she did to the boulder, that isn't normal!"

And sure enough, the quartet turned, and as one, they were shocked at what they saw. The boulder had been hidden by the wall's overhang on their way down, and they had been facing the wrong way once they had landed. One of them moved closer to the still settling rubble, and stuck a hand into it. They let the gravel and rock dust sift between their fingers, shaking their head in disbelief. The Captain watched in silence before fixing the guard with a glare. "How long did it take her to do this?"

"It was only one blow, Captain!"

"One?! But that's im-" He forced himself to remain quiet, before he turned back to fix Teufel with a deep glare. He stepped closer, looking down at her. She looked like any other young girl. But there was something in her eyes... "Do you mean this village harm?"

"I'll only supply whatever violence is handed to me." She met his gaze calmly, not worried by the fact that the other guards were slowly moving to surround her. She gave no sign that she was even aware of them, but yet she didn't have any openings in her stance, even from behind.

"Hmm. I'll have to ask you to meet with the village's head before we allow you to stay. Come with me." Their tone brooked no argument, not that Teufel had any intention of causing trouble. Yet. She had come here to learn, and if she had to play the political game first, then she would do so. It would be worth it, just for her getting to see the guards' expressions when she'd broken the stone.

They led her through a path that hadn't been there before, a path clear of litter from the shattered stone. She followed easily, despite their longer stride and rapid pace. Once she reached the interior of the village, she was surprised by what she saw. It was so... plain! The buildings were all small, though several were squat and broad. Only a handful even had a second story. They were obviously well maintained, and judging by the large signs at each one's entryway, they were mostly dojos. She could see more traditional buildings; homes, cafes, shops, but the dojos dominated the area.

Her escort led her to the largest dojo, a sprawling structure that was hemmed in by a simple bamboo fence. The top of the fence was sharp, each bamboo pole had been filed into a sharp spike. Hardly enough to stop a concerted effort, but still an impressive sight. Inside, the building proper was nestled in the precise center of the space, with the surrounding space divided into four equal expanses, covered in assorted compounds. One looked like gravel, another was sand. The third was packed clay, and the fourth was canvas-lined wooden planks. Unusual, that. But her final goal was inside the building itself.

stepping inside the building, she could smelt the faint acrid scent of sweat and a hint of blood. There had been fighting here, and in plenty. The entire entryway resembled nothing so much as an arena, and there was already someone waiting for them. An older man, he looked ordinary enough. Gray hair matched his bushy moustache and beard, and he wore a simple brown gi. His gaze went straight to the leader of the group, a fierce smile lighting up his expression with a savage tint. "Did you come to challenge me? I won't go easy on you!"

The leader of the elite quartet sighed and shook his head. "No, sir. We had an unusual visitor, and it was deemed unwise to let them loose without checking with you first." He stepped to the side and gestured to Teufel.

The old man took one look at her, and simply scoffed. "She's just a kid, what harm can she do? Let her loose."

"Sir! She passed the test, and in one blow!" The guard who spoke up blushed and stepped back when he realized he had spoken out of turn. He was too low-ranked to address their leader directly.

"Oh she did now? That's interesting..." The old man turned to face Teufel, only now really looking at her. She could feel his scrutiny, he was actively measuring her up, now. "And who might you be, girl?"

"I may be any number of things. For now, I'm just someone who wants to practice her skills in a place where there will be an opportunity to do so with messy consequences." She had considered starting off more aggressive than that, but she expected this old man had pride in plenty, and needlessly irking him would only make her stay less pleasant. She didn't particularly care if they liked her or not, but being on good terms could well pay off some time down the road. As well, if she was friendly with them, then there would be a better chance of her getting the help she needed to practice the techniques she had learned from her Omega powers.

"Hmm, a good enough answer. I'll admit, I'm curious to see what you want to practice. You won't mind if anyone watches you practice?"

Despite the genial tone, she knew this wasn't actually a question. If she refused, then she would either be refused entry, or they would insist. So she nodded. "Not at all, by all means. Though I am no teacher, so I can't take responsibility for anything that happens from trying to copy what I do." She knew that some of the techniques she would attempt would be dangerous, to both the user and the target. She wasn't about to let herself get blamed for any injuries that happened from any copycats trying to duplicate her feats without the proper knowledge.

"That's fair enough. Then I formally welcome you to Hidden Arts." The old man stuck his hand out, a Western greeting. Teufel hesitated only a moment before taking it. She felt a surprising amount of force in his grip, and she modulated her own strength to give back precisely the same amount. It may be amusing to crush his hand, but she was hoping to be welcome here. And the best way to do that was to remain vaguely harmless without being weak. That being said, perhaps she had still been too overzealous. The old man was looking at her with renewed curiosity now, her matching his strength had perhaps been a mistake. He was the strongest one here, she should have appeared at least a little weaker. He could have perceived her equality as a challenge. And while she knew her techniques were strong, she knew that she wasn't nearly familiar enough with them to be able to use them properly. And in a place like Hidden Arts, any challenge would be a formal affair, employing only martial arts and Taijutsu, nothing else. Oh well. She'd burn that bridge when she came to it. There was always the chance that the man wouldn't bother to challenge her, at least not before she had left.

For now, though, it seemed she would be left to her own devices. She knew that someone would be keeping an eye on her, but she wouldn't let that stop her. Instead, she got right to work. She asked for, and was given permission to, use one of the old man's training areas. He likely only agreed because he was curious of what she would do. No matter. She opted for the sand quarter, and strode out onto it. She set her scythe down nearby, close enough to be inr each if needed, but far enough that she wouldn't accidentally step on it during her training. She shifted into a thoughtful stance and closed her eyes, thinking back to focus entirely on those techniques once more. How to move, and what to do along with her movements. Ideally, she would have a victim to experiment on. But she knew better than to ask, as the end result would almost certainly be death. She'd simply have to make due with her own imagination, and trust in the emotional loading present in her false memories of those techniques. After all, if she had inherited the knowledge of how to use them properly, then she would be able to compare that to how she attempted them. That would show her if she messed up.

For now, all she planned to do was slowly move through the steps required for each technique. Once she was familiar with the flow, she could focus on increasing her speed and putting more force into the movements. It would take time, but only the first aspect would profit the most from having supervision by an accomplished Taijutsu specialist. Once they corrected any of her oversights, she could progress on her own, even during her travels. That suited her well, she didn't want to stay in this land of humans longer than she needed to.

In the end, she wound up practicing for well over seven hours, and when she finally stopped, she was worn out and sweaty. She collapsed back onto the sand for a moment, simply feeling the exhaustion and devoting her experience to memory. She was now familiar with her own techniques, enough that she felt she could move on to the next phase of her training. She tilted her gaze up, to see the old man. Had he been watching her the whole time?

"That seems like a promising style. I would like for you to spar with one of my students, tomorrow morning. Will you do this for me?"

Teufel considered it. She was still a novice, as far as Taijutsu was concerned. But her confidence was high, as was her innate abilities. So she finally nodded, before forcing herself back to her feet. "Very well, tomorrow morning I will face your second. In the meantime, may I ask after room and board?"

"You'll stay here, of course! I'm not going to let you slip away in the middle of the night, not before I see those moves in actual combat!"

"I thought you said a spar?"

"Yes, yes, of course. But even so, you better not hold anything back!" With that conflicting message, he led her back to his home and dojo, where he showed her to a guest room for the night. A servant would bring her meal after a little while, enough time for her to freshen up first.

The next morning rolled around, to reveal Teufel already awake before the sun had even peeked over the horizon. The previous night had ultimately been disappointing in that nothing had happened. After her self-training had finished, all that she had done was wash up, and share a meal with the old man. They had talked a bit, but she kept her own answers guarded, not wanting to tell a stranger too much right away. She had yet to really feel him out as a potential ally, and that meant she would have to wait before making any offers. That was a shame, because she could tell that many of the souls in the village were nice and vibrant. They would be delicious.

She had spent some time preparing for her match. She didn't know who she would be fighting, but she was expecting they would be strong. She hadn't missed the calculating gleam in the old man's eyes, he was up to something. And considering the slight irregularity concerning her own abilities, she felt confident he had a need to solve that mystery. That meant he'd set a strong foe against her, to draw out her strength in turn. She'd have to be even more careful than ever to make sure she didn't accidentally show too much. Not using any of her special abilities, nor her Fel Chakra, nor her symbeasts. Those limitations would hopefully force her to rely on the new techniques she had learned, and that would in turn escalate the learning process by necessity.

When she emerged from her room, she found several people already out and about. Several servants were already at work, cleaning, serving the morning meal, or several other tasks. A wave from the old man, who was also already awake, and she nodded, joining him once more. Breakfast was just as simple as the night before. Plain rice, baked mackerel, and vegetable soup. There were more options for a beverage, but Teufel stuck with water. She had no taste for coffee, and the curious mixture that the old man was drinking gave off a potent odor. It wasn't alcohol, but something outlandish and esoteric.

The conversation was light, until he asked Teufel if she was ready for the match. She nodded, saying that she would be able to begin any time after the meal was finished. There was no nervousness or hesitation in her voice or expression; she seemed truly calm and at ease. That was enough to make the man think that she was just as capable as he had estimated. It would be a good fight.

From there, there was nothing else to do but finish their meal, and then proceed to the match. It would be held in the indoor arena, deeper in the building itself. When Teufel arrived, she saw it looked like a typical dojo arena, smooth wood flooring with tape set down to mark out a large ring. Her opponent was already there, a muscular figure sporting a long blonde ponytail. He seemed ready to go, standing in the middle of the ring. Teufel wasted no time before she stepped into the ring, too. She had no shoes to remove, she was barefoot by habit now. Normally she would have her lower legs be transformed into satyr-like limbs, complete with cloven hooves. But she was keeping that aspect of her powers hidden yet.

"Is this some kind of joke? I thought you said you'd found a challenge for me, gramps?"

"Haha, don't worry about it. I think you'll be surprised."

Teufel glared at the exchange, she was being underestimated again. It seemed that there was something more going on between the old man and her challenger, but what, she had no idea. It didn't really matter, though. She had agreed to the match, and that was what she would have to do. Whatever game the old man was playing, she'd simply have to be careful. So she moved to one of the starting positions in the ring. Raising her voice just enough to be heard clearly, she addressed anyone who cared to answer her. "What will the rules for this match be?"

"We use a point system here. Points are awarded when you knock your opponent out of the ring, or knock them down. No weapons are allowed, and there is no time limit. The first to ten points will be declared the winner. Do both parties understand the rules?"

Teufel nodded, while her unnamed challenger merely waved the speaker away. He still seemed put out at having what he thought was an unworthy opponent. The speaker would act as referee, making sure that no illegal moves took place, and to declare point changes. They began the match, quickly backing up to the edge of the ring. The moment the match began, Teufel shifted into a ready stance. She had removed her scythe when the rules were declared, it was set in one of the nearby weapon racks.

Her opponent looked her over with clear disdain. What harm could a little girl pose? So he merely beckoned her to come at him. He even turned to show his cheek, patting it. "Come on, I'll give you a handicap to make this interesting. One free shot. go on, take it."

Teufel frowned. That was pure arrogance. But who was she to pass up such an opportunity? So she slipped out of her ready stance and walked casually up to him. He still didn't seem worried. So she nodded and grinned, before cocking a fist. A moment later he collided with the far wall in a crunch of breaking wood and bone. Nobody said anything for a long moment, before Teufel finally coughed politely to get everyone's attention. "So that's one point, right?"

After several concerted efforts to wake the man up, he was unceremoniously carried off to the medics, where he'd be patched up. There would likely be no long-term effects from his injuries, though it was safe to say his pride had been shredded like toilet paper. The old man was frowning now, his gaze focused solely on Teufel. Finally, he walked up to her. "That wasn't very sporting, finishing it like that."

"No, it wasn't. I felt it appropriate, as he had no intention of making an effort in this match. I lose patience with those who would waste my time."

"Hmm, I see. Then will you fight me?" The room went silent, nobody had expected the master of the dojo himself to challenge her.

She considered it for a time. Surely he would be a worthy opponent, and strong enough to survive the rigors of her techniques. She didn't want to kill him and make herself a persona non grata[/] if she could avoid it, but this was an opportunity to train with the best. "I'd be honored."

So they moved to the two sides of the ring, and the referee stepped forward once more. After that last display, everyone seemed a little leery around Teufel, and the referee was no exception. They scurried back even faster than the last time, and got as far as they could from her while still being close enough to officiate. And with that, the match begun. This time, there would be no underestimation on either side. Teufel and the old man rushed at each other, before exchanging a flurry of blows. Neither of them were able to block every strike of their opponent's. Both of them were getting battered, but neither was willing to back down before the other did.

An instant later, they both jumped back, as if by unspoken agreement. They were breathing hard, and both sported numerous scrapes and fresh bruises. But they were far from finished, and they met in a new clash. Teufel blocked an axe heel kick with both arms, before pushing up sharply. This put the old man off balance for just an instant, enough time for her to throw a rabbit punch to his other knee. The impact was solid, but he was tough enough that the bone didn't break. In return, she got kicked in the shoulder hard enough to spin her around.

This continued for over half an hour, until finally, it seemed they were both on their last legs. Teufel was worn out, she only had enough strength left for one more exchange. She had a hard time gauging the old man's reserves, he was a canny old goat. She knew she was stronger than he was, but his defense was higher than hers. In the end, it seemed to average out. He was just a human, but he'd had much more practical experience in fights than she did. She'd make this last exchange count, it was an all or nothing effort.

However, just before she could commit to this latest attack, the old man waved to the referee. "Let's call it a day there, I'm done. I still have to supervise the young in a little while. You did surprise me, though. I look forward to the next time our paths cross." With that, he walked off, favoring his right side as his walk was little more than a sustained limp.

Teufel frowned, that was it? No winner or loser? Well, technically he left the ring first, she if she wanted to count that as a win, she technically could. But it didn't matter. She'd come for training, and she'd gotten it, in spades. After that grueling battle, she felt far more comfortable with what she had learned. She knew that she would be able to use those techniques in pitched battle now. She was much more familiar with the art of Taijutsu as a whole, and she felt a surprising amount of confidence in her mastery of the unique style she had inherited. With it, she would be capable of even greater feats than before. And in the passing of time, her reach would extend farther than ever before.

But for now, she wanted nothing more than to wash up, and recover. That old goat was strong! Muttering under her breath, she set out to accomplish that. Once it was done, she'd be able to resume her journey. She had yet to decide where she might go next, but she wanted to take advantage of her current level of freedom. Eventually she would have to go home, back to her duties. Until then, she had every intention of enjoying this unusual break to the fullest.

User ImageIzmir was fresh out of academy with a sense of wonder for the world recently embedded within her soul. Initially her plans were to return home to see her mothers before venturing forward. Instead her she was on this little pit stop. At least she could show off a little more when she returned home. She would approach the entrance to the village... or what should be the entrance. A ridiculously large boulder was strategically placed in the midst of a narrow valley. A deep sigh would leave her lips as she stared at the challenge that faced her. In an annoyed fashion she would shove her hands on her hips. "Well that's a big ball of nope." she would say in frustration. "Of course, the application of brute force solves everything." The words were dripping with sarcasm. Izmir was a petite girl, and her tiny guns were not capable of moving anything even one fifth of the size challenging her. However what the small girl lacked in strength she made up for in other areas. The girl would manipulate the chakra within her body around the soles of her feet with precision in both quantity and coverage. Look at that academy was not entirely useless. She would run along side the walls of the valley next to the rock in a vertical direction. Once at the location where she satisfied, she would use the momentum from her sprint and kick off of the wall. Her body would launch forward in the direction of the absurdly large boulder. The landing graceful, but she still found it difficult to find her footing once at the location she intended. How far down was it? She would inch closer peering down below. Ah it wasn't THAT bad. Anyway she had come this far already, and there was no turning back now. A playful grin formed upon her lips. A forever young mentality filled her soul, and pushed the girl forward. Breaking out into another sprint, she would take off before flipping herself off the boulder. The descent was breath taking. She felt as though she was flying even if she was in full descent. The wind caressed every inch of her body, and brushed her hair. It felt like freedom, and she could die within the moment happily. With the grace of a feline, she would land upon her feet. Even with a loss of breath she still found a way to let out a soft chuckle. "that... was so cool." she could barely speak. Adrenaline would course through her veins at an unparalleled speed giving her a high. With that she would make her way into the village. Certainly there was nothing that could top that experience, but whatever she was feeling optimistic at the moment.

XXXA megalithic stone was hunkered down in the crux of the avenue to the village. A monolithic boulder with the dust of the ages collecting the morning dew. Droplets of limpid water glistened like aurous coins in the light of the auroran sun. Beads of sweat, reflecting bronzed flesh, rolled down taut muscles as Yukiko breathed deeply of the verdant morning breath. Her own scent intermingled with that pastured bouquet, a perfume of applewood and cherry being swallowed by the smell of fresh rain and the musk of fallen leaves. The mist of first light lapped at her bandaged ankles and swam around the base of the polyphemic boulder, golden rays passing through the thick fog. "...well." Yukiko whispered, her voice husky and low. The words echoed around her, muddied by the cloud that hung low until it was but a murmor just an arms length away. A canvas bag fell from a powerful, rippling shoulder with a dull thud as the woman contemplated the obstacle in front of her. A single breath slowly escaped her lips, passing between her nearly canine incisors. The hot air broke the dawn air like a dragon's breath between pursed lips, Yukiko exhaling to control the powerful eupnea that sustained her. Claret fluid pumped through efficacious veins, impelled by a stout heart. Her skin visibly flushed, a carmine hue rushing to the surface of her bronzed flesh as heat began to visibly waft away the misty breeze. The fragrance that permeated the air around her, the very spice on her breath, thickened as she clenched a fist. With a violent, penetrating thrust: Yukiko swings a spear linked to her shoulder, hundreds of ligaments snapping in perfect harmony to propel a powerful lancet into the monolith before her. Puissant digits dug into solid rock, like driving a stake into a granite slab. The entirety of the massive, rotund ore shook with the force of the blow. Several seconds of profound silence follow, life within a few hundred meters all holding their collective breath, before a web like crack crawls across the outer shell of the annular bedrock. "..Damn, I thought I would've been able to do it with one blow. Che~ I guess I still have a lot to learn." She growled between clenched fangs, shaking her hand free of the dust that had collected on her grizzled knuckles.

User Image Izmir still felt fairly proud of herself for besting the challenge once ahead of her with an out of the box response. Well now that it was over, learning some new fighting techniques was before her. Little time had passed between her own accomplishments before the sound of earth crumbling apart was present. Was this seriously happening? She was just on top of that... thing. The young woman would turn a full one hundred and eight degrees to see that the ridiculously huge boulder was indeed collapsed. Well it was a good thing that she jumped when she did. Being on top of it when it crumbled could have been problematic. "Show off!" she would call out in disbelief and with a hint of a playful tone. In all truth she did not feel one upped or shown up. Everyone had their own strengths and weakness, and she was completely comfortable with hers. Although she was slightly upset that if she had waited a few more minutes she could have simply strolled right on through. The experience of back flipping off of the boulder was one of a kind, and a memory she would likely retain for the rest of her life. With this reasoning she did not dwell on the lazy way out much.

XXXThe dust danced through the gilded beams of sunlit air. Motes twinkling like starlight as the sandy grains drifted back towards Yukiko, skipping towards the bronzed, statuesque woman on the warm breeze. Small specks landed on her toned flesh, the droplets of sweat absorbing the motes of golden dust. A long breath escaped from between plump lips, the tips of her canines pressing into the succulent flesh as the steamy breath slid between her ivory incisors. Steam was practically rising from her flushed russet hide. "Woof. That took a lot out of me..hehe.." A growl filtered through her nubile throat as she whiped a calloused hand across her damp brow. Two halves of the boulder lay where they rolled, to either side of the path as another girl purred playfully in disabelief. 'Show off!', she exclaimed loudly as Yukiko strode up to her. The tall muscled woman stopped just short of the cast of her own shadow, the crown of her shade cresting against Izmir's feet. Yukiko rolled her eyes, staring off and down as a bright red glow spread across her chestnut cheeks. A sheepish smile split between her ears, the warm simper betraying her embarrassment. "Ah-hahaha! Uh..i-it was nothing." She laughed nervously, the lilt of her voice making it clear that she either wasn't used to flattery or it made her a bit flustered.

User Image Izmir watched for a few moments after she had called out to the stranger. Upon noticing that the stranger was approaching her, she would await patiently. Upon arrival she would claim that it was nothing rather nervously. Yea, Nothing. Okay that's why she avoided doing that. "Well look at that she is modest too." she would continue to tease. It was then that she would look over the tanned stranger. She was toned for days, and it was ridiculously easy to see how she broke that huge rock. "I went over it.. I swear like two second before you broke it." she would explain with maybe a slight exaggeration. Considering she had to break that rock to get in, it was highly probable that she was also at the secluded village to train. "I'm Mizu, Izmir." she would introduce herself. "We could maybe go explore the village together or train together?" she would ask. By what she had seen so far they were different. Which was great, they could learn a thing or two from each other. Besides being by herself was great at times, but it was also boring. "It'll be fun~" she would continue to persuade in a sing song tone.
