Kana smiled up at him and slowly pulled one hand away to wipe her face, even though she'd managed to keep any tears away. She still felt a little odd. She rubbed gently at her right eye, watching through her left as Koichi reached into his pocket. Her ears perked curiously as she slowly pulled her hand again again, letting it drop to her lap.
Head tilting to the side, she stared for a moment as he spoke and then shifted her attention to the actual lolipop. She stared for a couple seconds and then slowly lifted her hand and accepted it from him. It twirled between her fingers a couple times and then she smiled, bowing her head. "Thank you very much."

Koichi shook his head at her thanks, and just laughed softly. "You said you liked orange, so I decided that maybe I should gie you a lolipop. After all, I was glad you came back home with me, even though I'm not sure how much you enjoyed it," he admited, shrugging his shoulders.
He wasn't quite sure what else to say, since he really didn't want to bring anything that had happened not too long ago up; especially that small period when they hadn't talked to each other over nothing big. Now tha the thought of it, it seemed childish; his actions, that is.

Kana bobbed her head up and down, ears perked happily once more. It was sort of surprising to her, that he'd remembered her favorite flavor was orange, but at the same time it made her very happy. She smiled at him, blinking when he spoke about visiting his home. Her eyes widened just slightly as she nodded again. "I really did enjoy it!" she said somewhat loudly. "I had so much fun with everyone! It was great!"
She spun the lolipop around her fingers a couple more times, feeling a little bit awkward. After not having seen him in what felt like forever, she'd found him again after yet another unfortunate event. A lot had happened since she'd last spoken to him too, and she wasn't sure if she should mention any of it. Like, her visiting her mother... She sort of wanted to speak of that, since he might be wondering if they were still visiting her own hometown. She kept herself silent though, in case he didn't remember, or it just didn't matter anymore.

[sorry, got lagged]
The silence between the two seemed to become thick and suffocating, lasting for what seemed like forever. Finally, though, Koichi decided to say something, although to what he was saying he wasn't sure. "So... are we just going to sit here, or would you like to go somewhere?" he questioned, fumbling the words out due to uncertainty. He wondered if she was up for such a thing, with everythign that had happened, or if she'd rather just stay there and remain silent. He left the choice up to her, since he wanted to make sure she was happier by the end of the day.

[It's alright.]
Kana dropped her gaze to the ground, watching it steadily as she sat mostly still. Only her tail was flicking slowly behind her, and the lolipop was twirling between the fingers of her right hand. When he spoke, her ears twitched and she looked up at him again, blinking once. "I would... like to go somewhere," she nodded, pausing in her speech as she tried to decide. Then she glanced to the broken tree Suka had snapped upon collision, and sighed quietly as she began pushing herself up. "Where to?" she asked, curious if he had a place in mind.

Koichi chuckled, realizing it was left up to him to decide. He used the tree for support as he stood up, and smiled gently at her. "Well, there are a few places we can go. There's our dorms, since i know you don't like crowded places, the playground, courtyard or the springs," he stated, just throwing out the first four places that came to mind. He didn't quite know which she'd pick, and didn't quite care in anycase; he just didn't think she'd want to stay where they were much longer.

Kana blinked a couple times, standing now as she clapsed her hands behind her back, still tightly holding the lolipop. "I would say..." she began, trailing off as she actually took a moment to think about it. She'd just been to the courtyard, and she preferred outdoors, so it was either the playground or the hotsprings left to pick from. Maybe both? One after the other? She blinked again and then looked up at him, feeling short once more. It was a strange feeling, but oddly, she'd missed it. She smiled faintly and glanced into the woods. "Playground," she said childishly with a nod of her head. "And then... the hotsprings, maybe?" She hoped he wouldn't mind that she'd picked the playground first choice.

Koichi grinned as he put his hand on her head. "The playgrond then the hotsprings it is, then," he agreed as he started to lead the two of them towards the direction of the courtyard; he wasn't sure if he should, but he wanted to wrap his arm around her shoulder. He refrained, though, thinking that she'd probably feel uncomfortable, or turn red before they got anywhere. So cute, he thought, remembering how she'd always become flustered over nothing.

"Oh.... ok!" she cried, smiling up at him again. She blinked as he placed his hand upon her head, staring up at him with one eye open. Then she started walking back towards the trees, dropping her gaze to the ground so she wouldn't see the one Suka had crashed into. She stole another peek at Koichi and then looked away again, sighing almost silently to herself. Her eyes shifted to the lollipop she held and she smiled very faintly, glad to be getting out of here, and even gladder that she'd found Koichi again.

Saraneth found her way to the lake and sat down by the banks. The sand was soft and warm beneath her hands when she ran her fingers through it, making strange lines and patterns. She looked out over the lake, letting the gentle breeze lift her hair and caress her face. Her amber eyes were filled with sorrow, and she wasn't smiling. Saraneth was seldom seen without a smile, so this was unusual. Lately, she hadn't been smiling as much as she usually did.
A small bird flittered from a tree and into the marshes, pecking at a few insects on leaves, succeeding in catching a cricket. With its meal in its beak, the bird flew back off again. Saraneth watched the bird sadly. There used to be a day when she could watch them all day without a care. Her innocence had been broken. Her life as an assassin would never be the same again.
Rivera was supposed to be her task. She wouldn't kill her, but would bring her back to Kleptos alive, in hope that she could escape. However, with Rivera dead, the bounty is gone. What was she still doing in this place? Maybe... it was because she finally belonged somewhere without feeling afraid every moment of her waking days. Maybe it was because of... him...

[Kai has competition in Crystal xD]
Koichi started gently humming as they made their way fromt he lake, towards the playground. He chuckled ramdomly after a moment, looking down at Kana. "Remember the last time we were there? I think it was the first time we met," he said, trying to recall the evening throgh his horrible memory. "I couldn't be wrong, though," he admitted, wondering if she'd agree or disagree with his last statement.

[Kai died, or something. xD -hasn't posted in a while- I don't think he'd care much though, 'cause he's mean.]
Kana watched the ground as they moved, tail flicking slowly behind her. Her ears suddenly perked when she heard him chuckle and she looked up at him uncertainly, head tilted to one side. Then she blinked and slowly looked around before smiling to herself. "Nope!" she exclaimed, wagging a finger at him. "We met in your room, because I helped a guy who'd passed out get to his... and then I heard your violin while walking past and stopped to listen. Then you caught me." She paused, and then rubbed the back of her head nervously. "I was.. really scared of you at first," she admitted with an uneasy laugh, recalling how he'd yelled. She remembered how sure she was he was going to end up hitting her.

[even when someone else is thinking of kissing her? How evil xD :slaps kai: :pokes: are you dead?]
[oh gosh! How did i forget that?!?!?!] Koichi thought about it for a minute, looking up at the branches of the trees, before laughing. "Yeah, I guess you're right. But we did the whole playground thing after, right?" he grinned. He tilted his head, though, hearing that she'd been scared of him at first. "Yes, well. A lot of people are scared of me at first, but that doesn't change much, does it?" It wasn't the truth, really, but it was close enough to it. "Can you imagine if something like that happened again? Or if I hadn't leveled my head down at first? You'd probably hate me right about now," he said, nodding his head to agree with himself.
[next post should be in the playground, i think]

[.... >.> Well, he can't really know what a person's thinking. xP]
[silly Wiingz. xDD] Kana looked up at him, nodding her head at the playground comment. "And we went to the beach too," she agreed. "And the mall, and that's when we went to eat at the playground." Her expression grew somewhat thoughtful at his last words as she frowned towards the ground. "Well... I forgive easily!" she exclaimed, bobbing her head up and down. She glanced over at the busted tree they were leaving behind and then towards Koichi again. "I think... I forgive Suka now too." She was silent for a second and then slowly looked back up at him. "I guess I'm... still a little confused... Your music made me sleepy." She rubbed awkwardly at the back of her head, about to say she might've already been tired, but really she'd taken a nap right before meeting him so that wasn't true.

ll ah, well, that's true. And i find no reason to post in the playground yet xP ll
Koichi looked at her when she mentioned forgiving Suka, but quickly looked foward again before she could see him. He just grinned to himself, glad that his playing had worked, although he wasn't going to admit why he was happy or why it'd made her sleepy. "Yeah, sometimes soothing music can do that to people," he said, covering up his truth with a believable lie. "Those were good times, weren't they?" he questioned, refering back to the beach and everything; he was remembering everything, and he liked how carefree they were back. Now, though, they had things such as what had taken place a few moments ago, to worry about. It made a big burden that rested on their shoulders. Even though Koichi hadn't been apart of it, he'd still watched it, so it was still there for him to remember.
ll voice: remember what? You didn't even read it! [me] SHUSH! BESIDES THE POINT! ll
