Kinda weird that he has to bring his own. My daughters' teacher just wanted us to send a big something once a week for the class to share. They kept the leftovers in stockpile in case someone forgot. It cut down on child jealousy, since they all had to eat the same thing.

That is also what we had to do, once every 20 days we had to send something, and since I was a stay at home mom, alot of times, I'd get a call from the teacher, saying someone forgot to bring it, and could I whip something up in my kitchen and bring it too school right after lunch. I also ran a home day care for a large part of the time, so it got to be a drag to take all the kids and load them up and take them to the school. It wasn't so bad in the early fall and late spring when the weather was nice enough to drive. This was back in the day before you could buy all these snacks, and we lived in a small town that had an even more limited collection. I've probably made thousands of cupcakes for school. I found that the easiest was to bake the cupcakes in ice cream cones. That way the kids didn't have to mess with peeling the paper off, and they could just eat the cone.

I try to feed your angel when I remember Illiana! I think those feedable angels are so cute!!
My husband goes back to work today. I hate that he had to drop his classes because of his deployment.
