Volt was thankful Cree and Stanley were reunited. She thought that was good news, but when she heard there were no more grunnies out and about..."SAY WHAT NOW?"she exclaimed, head whipping around and staring at the people outside the safe room.

Let's see what we got.
-She left the door to Gypsy, who seemed to have it covered (sorry, totally missed you opening the door -failrpertoday- ) and headed towards their makeshift kitchen corner, checkin' for what they had as far as food. Since she grabbed the fridge the pantry goods and, well, pretty much everythin' she coul once a monster grombie attacked, they had alot. She started pulling out some cookin pans from under the table-

"I'll look at you when I'm clean..." She starts to trot off after her mumbled reply, truly not wanting Gypsy to see her filthy state. Her next comment is directed at the others, "If she gets hurt, that safe room won't be safe for long."

Xashowd noticed the tension in the air between the two women, so he stepped back a bit to watch. One part of his mind was worried about what would happen between the two of them. Gypsy was stuttering nervously, and Daenes seemed shy around Gypsy. Naturally, he was concerned.
Another part of his mind, mainly his curiosity, pulled up a lawnchair and some popcorn, saying Dis gonna be good...
Xashowd mentally gave that part of his mind a hefty thwack. Now was not the time for jokes...internal or otherwise.

"Duly noted. Don't worry, she'll be safe with us around." Xashowd called to Daenes as she started walking off. He started considering following her, but he figured it'd just put her in an even fouler mood with him, so he decided against it.
*Sometimes it's hard to keep up. I keep wondering just when I should post. Ah well, I'll roll with it.*
"Alright, alright," Minty softly smiled at Daenes, picking up on the problem, "C'mere, you've got a little schmutz on your face."
Before the disgruntled elf could object, Minty wiped away
sleeve, she used the movement to whisper to Daenes, "Look, we're not besties yet, but we both care about Kt. I got bit during the last grunny attack. I've had Batty's cure, but I'm not super sure it's gonna work. I was hoping everyone would get back into the Safe House in case of the worst," She finished and said in a voice more loudly, "There, can't let you seeing your lady love at less than your best."

He moves of of Luck's way, watching her move about the 'kitchen'. "As long as there's some type of meat, I'm not terribly picky. Do you need help?"
Stanley stood still for a moment as he was hugged and put his arm around Volt and patted her on the back. He stood there for a moment hugging Volt before hearing Cree fall to the floor. He walked over to his little sister and picked her up off the floor.
"I'm so happy you found me big brother!" Cree snuggled close in her brother's arms.

I'll get some bacon an' eggs on -She cleared off a part of the table to use for prepping and settin' food- Well, firs' could ya go 'round an' ask what people want? With all the commotion, I ain't sure it's processin' what I'm askin'. Pretty sure not everyone 'ere has the same tastes.

The elf looks down hearing the mumble. "O-okay . . .b-but why do you have to leave to get cleaned up?" She nibbled on her lower lip as Daenes spoke again. Without realizing it she had taken a few steps more forward but stopped. She reached out taking a tiny bit of Minty's sleeve in her hand as she watched Daenes. She just needed a tiny bit of comfort right then, Minty's sleeve would have to do in loo of what she was wanting.
(No worries, I don't think anyone caught that, Luck~ )

Wait, lady love? Does that mean she's... Xashowd looked back and forth between Daenes and Gypsy perplexed. He wasn't sure what to make of it, besides wondering if him being a guy was the reason Daenes hated him so much.
Meanwhile, his Curiosity was laughing at Xashowd's perplexed state.
Since I dun quite know where everyone is.. one massive quote list and I'll narrow it down
Hearing something about food making Batty chimed in waving it's hand from the cabinet door.
"Batty wanting to be being helping."
Turns back to the other two in her home again.
"Greenie~ Miss Miss~ Coast be being clear if chu wanting to go back into the safey room. Lights are being on. Batty will leaving door opens if chu are ready."
