Never Again...Herald nodded with a small smile as he heard Emma's response. Herald used his Afterburn ability to send the wisps of energy trailing behind him towards the fireball. As they connected they managed to detonate the fireball prematurely. Still, embers of white fire fell on Herald covering him with burning cinders. He shook them off quickly before they caused too much damage. "Fair enough," he replied before taking a deep breath and launching a green fireball of equal size towards Emma. Will I be bound in chains

She felt them graze her slightly though but due to how burned she was, it was getting to the point where she couldn't feel the burns very well. That wasn't a very good sign but she didn't care at the moment. Her hair flared up slightly as she built up energy, pushing her current form past its limits. She used the swords and spun in a circle, easily manipulating the flames to create a giant vortex that she then launched at Herald before landing on the ground. She sent flames all across the ground while Herald was occupied so it would be difficult for him to move on the ground. ☾± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±: . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

Never Again...Herald watched Emma create a giant vortex of fire. He wasn't about to lose this battle. This might be overkill, but Herald would never get over it if Emma beat him. The battle was still going in his favor, but he wasn't going to take a chance. While Emma was powering up her move Herald launched himself up in the air. He began inhaling deeply as Emma launched her attack, taking one final deep breath before releasing it. He exhaled a massive fireball straight up into the air and it would be obvious to Emma what it was. It was his Volcano Bomb, the same one he had used against Atticus in his demon form to end the battle in one hit. He just had to survive her vortex. He braced himself as the massive whirlwind of fire overwhelmed him, focusing his entire mind on the thought that this would surely be her last attack. Once it had passed he shook himself off and jumped on top of the fireball, looking down at her. "Give up?" He asked, giving her one chance to back down before he leveled half the realm in order to win. Will I be bound in chains

Her gaze occasionally looked to the bomb. "Are you kidding me, Herald?!" She called to him, not too happy that he was planning to use that sort of attack to beat her. She wanted to continue fighting but she knew that the attack would pretty much damage her to the point where she couldn't even move... or worse. She glared up at Herald for a few moments while standing there still. Never Again..."No." Herald replied to Emma's first question. He gave a grin as he heard her next statement. "Desperate? I think not." Suddenly he jumped off the fireball and up into the air, doing a full flip. As he completed the flip the he outstretched one leg and kicked the fireball straight downwards. The massive ball of flame shot straight down with surprising speed and slammed into the ground right in front of Emma causing a massive shockwave of flames. It left a massive hole in the ground and the entire realm rumbled as it burned deep into the earth. After several moments of this it exploded. The entire ground would erupt under Emma about a mile in every direction, sending jagged rocks and strong clumps of earth straight upward like a million pieces of shrapnel. The ground itself had absorbed a good chunk of the impact, preventing both Herald and Emma from being hit by a significant portion of the blast though there was still enough shrapnel launched up from the ground to damage anyone who wasn't high in the air. Will I be bound in chains

Right away it began to get pummeled by debris and the blast itself. She kept the barrier up despite how weak she was and used pure determination to hold it. Eventually the barrier became buried in debris along with Emma leaving her fate currently unknown..☾± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±: . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

Never Again..."Hmm..." muttered Herald as he watched the debris smash against Emma's shield until she was buried completely. Several rocks reached him but by that time they had lost enough of their force that they bounced off of him harmlessly. After watching for a moment to see if Emma would come out on her own, Herald took a deep breath and exhaled a larger than usual fireball down towards where Emma had been standing with her barrier. The fireball would have the double effect of both damaging Emma if she was still there and clearing away the debris around her to expose her back in the open. Will I be bound in chains

Emma stood in a small crater where the flames came from, panting from exhaustion. Her legs shook slightly due to how burnt they were as well as from how drained she was. That didn't change the fact that she looked pretty irritated. Her hair seemed dimmer now since she didn't have much energy left to fight.☾± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±: . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

Never Again...Herald looked down at Emma as she canceled his fireball and removed the debris herself. After a moment he let himself fall downwards, landing on the ground in front of her. Now that he was closer he could see that her legs were shaking. He paused for a moment before slowly walking up to her. Once he'd reached her he reached out and took her into his arms, looking down at her. "You're almost out of energy," he told her. "Give up. I don't want to hurt you until you fall unconscious..."Will I be bound in chains

She tried to catch her breath but was finding that difficult to do. "I'll become stronger as well. Soon he'll be begging us to spare him. I'll let you decide what to do with him," he promised. Will I be bound in chains
