"The feeling is mutual, Misaki." I say with a smile and then take a quick glance around to make sure I'm not about to back into anything. "But for now, may the best... woman, win!" I add, keeping my guns ready, but not firing yet, somewhat out of courtesy, but also to wait for Misaki to make a move I can exploit.

Misaki:
Jade is no longer firing. You're able to move in quickly.
Nekora:
Finally, the rushing clone gets caught in the vortex. However, she fires a blast of magical power, much like she did at your ice barrier. It hits you square in the chest. However, your ice armor takes the brunt of the damage. You get pushed back a foot or so, but your focus is not lost. Give it a moment, and the first one should drown with the second following shortly behind.
Jade:
You notice that Misaki's shield moves to the left just a fraction of an inch with each step. If you slow down time, you can exploit this easily.

Instead of maintaining my vortex of water, I decide to chill the water to put the clones into hypothermic shock

I use my wings, and deliver a flying shield bash, and try to follow it up with a sword strike aimed at the arm to lessen Jade's accuracy. I will try to get to you soon Nekora, but I can not escape from my fight with Jade. But two victors emerging from this battle would be a sight to see!

Despite how enervated my last attempt at time magic was, I decide to push myself one last time. slowing down time to a near standstill for myself. Then, I aim with just one pistol at where Misaki's shield is no longer protecting. Once I have the shot lined up, I fire, putting as much magical energy as I can into the projectile to hopefully end the fight in one last attack.

Emmy continues to lightly hum a tune, completely off-key. Not that she could tell; she was tonedeaf.

She looked up at Emmy and sighed"hey Mama, what is that song? and why does it sound off?"she asked looking up at Emmy her eyes full of curiosity.

The chill spreads slowly around you, forming a little chrysalis around you. The chill will take a moment to reach the clones, who are still trying to escape the slowing vortex.
Misaki:
As you try this, Jade fires a single shot that is charged up much more than a normal bullet. It bypasses your shield easily and smacks you hard in the stomach. You feel as though you should be spitting up blood. Instead of the powerful combo you were trying, you crash down hard on top of Jade, pinning her to the ground. You feel very weak, as if all of the fighting has finally caught up to you. But you have her pinned; one bite should do...
Jade:
You hit Misaki in the stomach and her flying shield bash turns into a jump ending with a dead-weight flop, pinning you to the ground. You might want to try one more attack, because one chomp and she'll take you down with her.

Not hesitating to take my only chance at victory, I aim my pistol at Misaki's neck, charge it up with as much energy as I can spare, and fire.

I summon all the strength I have left, and try to bite her in the neck. I am sorry Nekora, I don't think I will be able to help you as I don't know if I will win this battle with Jade.

Emmy pauses, "Hmm? Oh..um, it's just a song I heard somewhere, but I spose it sounds a bit off because I can't actually hear how I sound... Sometimes, I'm not even sure the words coming out of my mouth." Emmy says chipperly, as if it's the most amusing and natural thing in the world.

So my cold orginates from me, or at least it does in the water. Guess it's good to know that here when there's no real consequence! I keep freezing the water while creating a tide to pull the clones towards me. I then reach out to them with my mental abilities. Hello Jasmine, I think we both know that by the time this struggle is over, one of us will fall, and the other will be exhasuted. If Jade ends up the victor between the stuggle, her time powers will make it impossible for whoever wins this conflict to survive. I'd like to propose an alliance. Lets see if I can win this in a three way alliance. not sure how much Jasmine can be trusted though, but I know Misaki is honorable and will keep her word as long as I keep mine.
