Max smiled and shook her head. "No... I just need rest." She said, she looked hungry and thirsty, but was fighting it to be close to him.

"I'll do what I want..." She muttered and did it again. She was smiling though. "You're not the boss of me." She muttered, only this time quieter, she didn't smile this time. She wondered if Trent would even care anymore now that he had his own family. 'Maybe it's for the best if he doesn't.' She thought and seemed upset.

Max just sat up. "How do you do that?" She asked and just sat there looking down at the food. She felt a weird churning feeling in her stomach from looking at it. She didn't know if it was from hunger or from something else, but she just looked at it like she didn't know what to do with it.

Max looked at him and opened her mouth. She chewed and swallowed. "There... I ate." She muttered and just sat there, she seemed to think she was done. It was like she totally forgot she was carrying another living thing inside of her.
